Subject: Letter of award (LOA) for Hiring of contract service for TPI during Annual Turnaround
at our captive power plant Nawanshahr, Punjab ,India.

Ref: Your offer No. CENS/SEL/2018/015 dated 13.02.18 and your visit to our Nawasahr, India
office.
Dear Sir,

We refer to your quotation dated 13.02.2018 and your subsequent visit to our Nawanshahr,India
office on 23.02.18 regarding Third Party Inspection TPI during Annual Turnaround at our
captive power plant Nawanshahr, Punjab ,India.

We, M/s SEL Manufacturing Company Limited (hereby mentioned as client), Nawanshahr, are

pleased to issue Letter of Award (“LOA”) to M/s Corrsonic Engg & NDT Services (hereby

mentioned as vendor), subject to following terms and conditions.


1) Scope of Work
The Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, Third Party Inspection by qualified
Inspectors as per ASNT/ISNT standards. It includes the provision of carrying out
Visual Inspection of Equipment/Piping, review of NDT records, Witness of
WPS/PQR ,welding ,Painting and various other jobs during shutdown period .

2) Contract value
The final contract value for the entire work as agreed by you will Rs.50,40,000/-
Rupees Fifty lakh and fourty Thousand only excluding all taxes).GST @18% rate to
be provided on providing receipts of the same. This is the total contract value and
prices mentioned in this LOA shall remain firm and fixed till completion of the work.
However if any additional work out of scope of work will be considered as extra
work. The vendor/Client upon mutual discussion and evaluating the extra volume/
value of work will decide to pay the extra amount for any additional or extra work, at
site.and no variation shall be paid on account of any reason whatsoever.
3) Time of completion
Time shall be the essence of this LOA. The vendor shall be strictly required to
adhere with Contractor’s schedule (“Completion Schedule”) and the milestone
dates (“Milestone Dates”) for Completion for each stage by the vendor. Any delay in
achievement of the Milestone Dates and/or overall Completion Schedule will attract
Liquidated Damages as per applicable clauses.
• The time of completion of the entire job will be 4 months.
• The time of completion of the site job will be 3 months.
• Submission of all drawings, Test records has to be completed by the end of
the 4th month.
4) The vendor shall submit all the test certificate and data sheet for supplied
equipments proposed to be used for the job prior to start of job. Also Calibration
records of all the instruments are to be submitted for review from our side.
5) INSURANCES
The vendor shall carry and maintain in force at all time during the term of the
contract the following insurances. The supplier shall submit a copy of the insurance
policy to the contractor prior to receiving site access.
• Workmen’s Compensation / Medical Insurance Work related injuries or
death to be covered as required by law,
• Employer’s Liability Insurances (Supervision & Technical personnel).Copy
of insurance to be provided in advance before site mobilization.
6) LODGING & BOARDING
The vendor shall make its own arrangements for all food, accommodation, Local
transportation for its personnel.
7) TERMS OF PAYMENT
• 50% Advance against completion of site job.
• Balance 50% after submission of Inspection and NDT records.
8) GENERAL CONDITION OF CONTRACT
• The vendor has apprised himself fully of the Project site conditions and
clearly understood the Scope of Work.No claims of whatsoever nature shall
be entertained by the client on account of any reason cited by vendor at a
later date.
• The vendor shall not sublet whole or any part of the work to any other
agency, unless the same has the approval of the Client.
• The vendor shall prepare and submit the work procedures and / or method
statements for different activities as per clients standard prior to mobilization
at the site of the job.
• Preparation of detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, shop
drawings and as built drawings shall be in the scope of the Contract work of
the vendor.
• The vendor shall furnish PF & registration numbers & ID cards of each
supervisor deployed at site.

This Letter of Award shall be a legally binding Agreement and Contract between the client and
the vendor. If you are in agreement with the terms of this LOA, please countersign the enclosed

copy of this LOA at the space provided to this effect below and return a copy to us within Ten
(10) days of the issue of this LOA, failing which the terms of this LOA shall lapse on the expiry
of the aforesaid ten (10) days.
