1. Candidates are advised to carefully read the regulations of Ph.D. which is available in
the Website www.periyaruniversity.ac.in (Part time mode applicants are requested to
pay more attention before filling the applications)
4. A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number are mandatory to apply for CET through online.
E-mail ID and Mobile Number are to be kept in active mode. All communication will be
sent to the registered email ID.
7. After submitting the details in the application, applicant’s can choose any one of the
following modes for making payment of application fee.
a. Net Banking
b. Debit Card / Credit Card
8. After entering all details including the payment in the online application form, applicant
has to wait for receiving the intimation from the server. Meanwhile DO NOT press
“Back” or “Refresh” button to avoid payment failure or double Payment
9. The applicant can modify certain fields till the last date specified.
10. After supplying all the requisite information in the application and payment of fees
candidates are requested to take a printout of the filled in application form and submit
the same to the University along with the copies of the certificates uploaded either by
post or in person.
11. For entrance examination, candidates can download their online hall ticket from the
University website
12. The candidates those who are taking common entrance test for Ph.D. admission may not
be able to get admission without meet all the eligibility criterion.
13. The applicants ought to read the condition of eligibility as given is the Ph.D. regulations
2017. Applicants must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for Ph.D. entrance
test before filling the application form.

14. Periyar University may change the centre, date of examination without assigning any
reason.
