OVERVIEW

The Paper Cutting Machine is a mechanical project designed to automatically

cut paper in a fixed-length using gears, sprockets and Geneva wheel to transfer
power from the motor.
Motor, Arduino Kit, Scissors and Spring were bought, and parts like shafts, nuts
and bolts were used as provided. Gears, sprockets and Geneva wheel were
manufactured from the starting.
The cost of making the project was about Rs. 6250.
Improvements can be made by using bearings, more powerful motor, more 3D
printed parts for more efficient and faster cutting. To change the length of the
paper cut, we can use an auxiliary motor which would rotate the roller. This
would remove most of the mechanical aspect of the project but would be
more useful in real life.
