3.7 Boost
Overview:
Apply boost to the o/p voltage at low frequencies, when acceleration and starting

Aims:
To set Continuous Boost, Acceleration Boost, and Starting Boost

Narrative:
Due to the heavy loads, there is a need to apply increased torque at specific
times - i.e. when starting, and when there is a change of
when there is a change of speed.
Setting a higher continuous boost will increase torque at low speed.

Notes:

Instructions:
Follow the exercises given to you, setting the parameters to configure
the drive suitable for use within the system.

1 Description of the requirements.

You decide which parameters to use and their settings,
The settings should be tested and optimised as required.

2 Description of the requirements PLUS the parameters to use.

You determine the correct settings of the given parameters.
The settings should be tested and optimised as required.

3 All parameters and settings are given.

You implement the settings.
The settings should be tested and optimised as required.

Level 3.

The parameters that you should consider using are:

1. Constant Boost - P1310 = 75 (e.g.);
2. Acceleration Boost - P1311 = 30 (e.g.);
3. Starting Boost - P1312 = 30 (e.g.);

1 Implement the settings.

2 Test the settings (reading r0025 - Output Voltage and

r0027 - Output Current).
