Roxar develops real-time flow measurement and instrumentation of wells and data acquisition systems.
From high temperature reservoir monitoring to multiphase flow metering, sand erosion sensors, oil in
water monitoring, and corrosion detection, the technology helps operators make reservoir management
and flow assurance decisions.

Role & Projects:

Bring your passion for embedded software development to create new and innovative solutions. Deliver
real-time embedded software components constrained by space, performance and reliability for
multiple platforms. Add new capability to existing software products. Candidate will be involved in all
stages of the software lifecycle: design, implementation and testing. Creativity is required to solve
challenging technical problems.

Responsibilities:

 Drive technology/development projects in all phases from specification to release

 Maintain and upgrade current product portfolio
 Develop solid and efficient test tools and procedures
 Handle together with project managers, product/software solutions certification
 Structurally build information in our Data Management System
 Participate in developing quality assurance procedures related to software design, implementation
and verification
 Work on software specification documents ensuring that the design is in compliance with relevant
international, project specific and internal Roxar standards
 Ensure that the engineering documents produced are checked and approved according to the
applicable procedures/checklists
 Responsible for being updated on applied science results in his/her specialist field

Requirements:

 BS (or MS) in Computer Engineering, Cybernetics, Computer Science or related

 Experience in embedded software development using C/C++
 Experience with integrating hardware and software systems
 Understanding of embedded hardware and architectures is an advantage
 Experience with design and requirements specification and commonly used tools
