SAFETY & RISK LIABILITY: That the Painter hereby undertakes that he would be
responsible for the safety and security of the workmen working for the above said
painting work. The Painter hereby further undertakes that he would only be liable for
any accident or any risk of life of any of the workmen and t o make all payments
required under law in the event of occurrence of any such accident or risk of life and
that the OWNER is hereby completely indemnified from the same.
2. WARRANTY: Painter warrants that they will perform the work in a professional and
workmanlike manner. Painter further warrants that the paint will last for ………(five)
years. If cracking or bubbling does occur, Painter will return and make the necessary
repairs at no additional cost to OWNER.

3. OWNERS’ RIGHT TO STOP THE WORK: If the contractor fails to correct the work
which is in accordance with this contract document the owner may direct the
contractor to stop the work till the correction is made.
4. INSURANCE AND TAXES: It is hereby covenanted that it is the Painter who is liable
for payment of compensations to the labour engaged by him under any labour laws or
other laws for the time being in force. The Painter further covenants that it is the
responsibility of the Painter to make payment of taxes, like GST, Income Tax, etc. and
comply with the respective statutory provisions for the time being in force.
