About the author

Trymore Rugare Musipa is a
supernaturally strong Zimbabwean patriot
born on the thirty first day of July 1995.
He grew up in Torwood, Redcliff, Kwekwe
in the Midlands province of Zimbabwe. He
attended Richard John Davies primary
school and Batanai High school in
kwekwe and then proceeded to Dadaya
high school in Zvishabane. Propelled by
indescribable patriotism, he attempted to
serve his motherland in the Air Force of
Zimbabwe which unfortunately became a
barren effort. He then proceeded to
National University of Science and

technology where he undertook a

bachelor’s degree in Chemical
Engineering. He also studied Electrical
Power Engineering under apprenticeship
in the National Railways of Zimbabwe. He
wrote his first book entitled "Tryberfore
the greatest force against poverty", as a
teenager and then "Break Through" as
well as several other articles the likes of
"Voltage and the theory behind fake
pastors and demons", as well as "Daily
struggles of a catholic student". He is
looking forward to see Zimbabwe and
Africa at large change for the better.

Foreword

I write this book with a heavy heart. I

write this book with a bleeding heart. I
am neither campaigning nor de-
campaigning any political party. I am just
an advocate of truth, peace and justice. I
am one amongst millions of
Zimbabweans, crumbling in emotional
agony of the calamity caused by
diplomatic insanity to the political
vicinity, titrating our values of humanity
into vanity. It is indeed a pity. For long
this nation has been taken for granted. For
long this nation has been taken as a
political laboratory by the political
apprentices who carry out their political
experiments using us as their political
apparatus. For how long shall we continue
engaging in experiments in which we are

the apparatus? Forty years being prisoners

of poverty is not a joke. Better is a
criminal serving his sentence in jail, for it
is in honor of his stupidity, than innocent
Zimbabwean men and women sentenced
to decades and decades of imprisonment in
the jail of poverty, void of justice. Day by
day there arise so called intellects who
claim to be in a position to bail us out. Our
hopes are ever elevated towards each and
every election on a routine basis. We
lobby arduously to resist the current
system and bring about a change but that
seems a barren effort. Why? This becomes
the biggest question ever, a question
which can never be addressed in one
answer no matter how laconic you might
be. What is it that has kept us in the snares
of this captured system for all this while?
The day there shall erupt a St Peter type of
leader who is in a perfect position to
answer this question is the day we shall

gain our total independence. Our

independence is not that far away.
Independence begins in our minds. It then
spreads out into the outside world where it
manifests in the nature of leaders to whom
we entrust our hope, regardless of our
political affiliations. It‟s a pity that we
often invest our hopes in wrong leaders. I
sounded a fool when I first made my
analysis and figured out that all the 2018
presidential candidates were not fit for the
duty basing upon their intellectual
stamina, according to my own dictionary
of understanding. At least Dr. Nkosana
Moyo was the only genuine presidential
candidate of all the twenty- three but
people were too blind to see. However;
being better than the rest is not of
paramount importance as far as real
change is concerned. What therefore is a
prerequisite for one to strengthen his or
her political muscles before prematurely

indulging into the Zimbabwean politics is

an understanding of the following facts.

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

12
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

What is it that has kept this

captured system in power for this
long?

The definition of politics:

I n order to maintain itself in power, this

captured system gave us the wrong
definition of politics from the
beginning. What we think is politics is not
politics at all.

What do I mean?

They made us believe that politics is all

about glorification of certain individuals in
honor of their outstanding efforts towards
something which they made sure we

believe no one else can ever do better.

Leadership posts are a token of
appreciation to our political heroes and to
our heroes alone. By the same token,
almost every politician in Zimbabwe
subscribes to that misleading definition
except for a few. The presidential post is
taken as a token of appreciation to the so
called heroes. A president is a former
sufferer. You have to suffer a lot before
you become a leader. Their suffering
constitutes more than eighty percent of
their campaign speeches with the
remaining being just a few fake and
unrealistic promises of which contribute
absolutely nothing as far as progress is
concerned. The history of president
Munangagwa himself portrays him as the
most outstanding political sufferer. He
risked his life by joining the liberation
struggle at a tender age. He escaped death
by a hair‟s breadth when he was on the

death row. He also escaped, by a near

miss, the snares of cyanide back then in
his office. He survived food poisoning
when he was given an ice-cream. He
became a fugitive in trying to secure his
life in November 2017. He was almost
assassinated by the bomb explosion at the
White City Stadium in Bulawayo. He is
indeed a hero and therefore deserves the
presidential post according to the
misleading definition given to us by this
captured system. The same applies to
Nelson Chamisa and Tendai Biti of the
Movement for Democratic Change
(MDC). They claim to have been tortured,
jailed, abused and beaten up. Some of
their claims are true though while some
are just nothing but a bunch of lies. They
are ever claiming that their lives are being
threatened from time and again; no
wonder why we saw Biti being a fugitive
just after the July 30 elections while
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

15
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

Chamisa claimed to have been constantly

followed by unregistered vehicles. They
are ever in a quest to upraise their statuses
as heroes of our time. The same applies to
C.d.e. Joice Mujuru who is ever lamenting
about the unfairness of the ruling party in
discrediting her war credentials of which
make her yet another sufferer of our time.
It‟s like most of our politicians, if not all
of them, have an outstanding history
which portrays them as sufferers. Election
time is nothing but just an expo
characterized by the contestants‟
exhibition of their suffering and struggles.
It‟s like the one with the deepest and soul-
bruising history grabs the post and that‟s
it. It is a battle of histories of which no one
is ever going to come up with a more
convincing story than this captured
system‟s liberation struggle hence the
reason why we still talk of it being in
power for more than thirty- nine years. I

believe the day Zimbabweans are going to

realize that politics is all about qualities,
not hero worshipping, that‟s the day we
shall start making a step out of this pseudo
political environment in which we are
entrapped.

In their wrong definition of politics, this

captured system made us believe that a
politician is a provider of everything. All
the good we can ever have must come
through the intervention of a politician.
There is absolutely nothing we can ever
have outside politics. Politics is a sign of
prestige which depends upon the political
party to which you affiliate. It has become
a public secrete that by virtue of being
associated with this captured system
automatically you become immune even
to the law itself, you are even exempted
from some of the punitive measures
normally applicable to ordinary citizens

with no trails of this captured system in

their lives. Look at what is happening in
Kwekwe right now. Many people have
lost their lives due to them being attacked
by a group of guys who kill with
machetes. They are disturbing peace of the
citizens on a daily basis yet the police
seem to have no dominion over them
because they have backup from this
captured system‟s bigwigs. Arrest them
now but in just a phone call they are set
free and go back into the streets to
continue tormenting lives of the citizens.
Is that fair?

This captured system made us believe that

to secure favors from any government
institution you must subscribe to their
political affiliation. Even presidential
scholarships are a privilege to children and
relatives of this captured system's

members mainly. Once you start a

business this captured system becomes
your first insurance company. For you to
get a residential stand you have to be a
loyalist of this captured system. For you to
secure it you ought to be an active
participant in the party and make sure your
neighbors do the same, otherwise the
whole residential area risks being
destroyed by the city council on the
account of it not being in accordance to
the town plan, the idea being a derivative
of this captured system‟s input.

Taking politicians as being the sole

providers of everything has created a
dependency syndrome in most of the rural
citizens who believe that supporting
opposition parties will deprive them of
agricultural fertilizers and farming seeds,
even those being provided under certain
governmental and nongovernmental

programs, for this captured system's

loyalists and politicians are in control of
everything.

Rewarding of post holders of the party has

resulted in everyone competing to be a
loyalist in order to get a post and enjoy the
benefits. When top leaders of the youth
league were allocated luxurious vehicles
by the party almost every youth went in a
constant manner to be the outstanding one
and get to the top and be exempted from
road-block, and city council clamping
frustrations. All this has resulted in people
loyally voting for the party and
maintaining its glory till recent of which
no other opposition party can ever
compete or significantly contest.

As a matter of wrongly defining politics to

us, this captured system made us believe

that for one to be a politician, he or she

has to create enmity between the
government and the ordinary civilians first
and then seek support from one or two
foreign countries just as they did when
they decided to go to the liberation
struggle. They first of all made sure that
they make ordinary citizens develop an
antigovernment sentiment. They
continuously uttered hate speech against
the then brutal government of which was
necessary and valid at that point in time.
However, the problem we now have with
the opposition parties is that they are
trying to use the same approach hoping to
topple this captured system yet is
absolutely impossible.
Unfortunately, we hear almost all
opposition leaders uttering hate speech
against this captured system's government
with a notion of creating enmity between
people and the government, stirring

unnecessary activism in them of which has

always proven to be of imperative
consequences to the ordinary civilians.
Opposition leaders have engaged other
foreign nations from time and again of
which was a barren effort which only
brought about the imposition of illegal
sanctions of which the government seem
to have been vaccinated against. A good
strategist always has a counteracting plan
for every plan so developed. They have a
better understanding of how they took
over so will always have a good plan of
preventing the same to happen to them
hence remaining of relevant importance in
the history of mankind as far as
Zimbabwean politics is concerned.

By the same ill-defined definition of

politics, we went on to derive democracy,
yet another definition of paramount

22

importance, in a misguided manner. What

most of our opposition leaders think is
democracy is just freedom of expression
and freedom of association. They just
believe that in a democratic country it is
one‟s right to utter nonsense against
government and other opposition parties
without suffering any consequence. They
think a multi-party state is a democratic
state by virtue of them being given a
wrong definition of politics. They believe
that being given a platform to form your
own political party and operate without
government‟s interference is what
democracy means. Each and every time
they lobby arduously to make sure that
they express themselves anyhow and at
any time without any fear. This is the
reason why they are ever complaining
about them not being given enough
coverage in the state owned media.

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

23
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

However; there is more to democracy than

just those petty issues being so considered.

According to my own dictionary of

understanding, democracy is when there
arise one or more groups of individuals
with diverse ideologies, all of which are
constructive, and competing to implement
them for the common good of others,
with or without imperative hindrances.

It‟s a competition of ideas, not

competition between individuals or
political parties in their quest to occupy
certain leadership posts. What this
captured system did when they realized
the need to legitimize their government
and sugar-coat their leadership for it not to
be called “dictatorship”, was that they
gave us a limited edition of democracy,
derived from that wrong definition of
politics, knowing very well that none of

the so formed political parties is ever

going to raise eyebrows and think outside
the box. Real democracy is when we all
compete to address the same problem
using various methods without getting
offended when your method fails or loses
the competition but at least rejoicing that
the problem has been resolved for the
common good of the nation. There is no
need to hate or hurt each other in
democracy. There is no need to discredit
other people‟s relevant opinions on the
account of them subscribing to a different
political entity in democracy. The sole
purpose of it is to create unity in diversity.
The problem at hand right now is that only
this captured system is the hub of ideas
while all other opposition parties are just
critiques and analysts to the implemented
ideas so there is nowhere they can run a
country by just analyzing and criticizing
what other parties are doing, in the name

your head!

of democracy. No wonder why they even

fail to run their own internal party affairs.
Instead of uniting to come up with ideas
on how to make Zimbabwe a better place
to be; they are ever busy focusing on post
allocation and succession plans of which
are the epicenter of their poorly managed
conflicts, all being attributed to the wrong
definition of politics so provided by this
captured system.

This has so far made Zimbabwe a state

dominated by this captured system for
more than thirty- nine years, so far, and
will continue for good if nothing is done
about it. The best advice I can give to all
the opposition leaders out there is that:
“In order to topple this captured system,
do not be a headmaster before you master
your head! Master the real definition of
politics and derive the proper definition of
democracy and see yourself accelerating

to the greatest possible heights. Be

humble, methodical and tactful and see
yourself wave good bye to this captured
system”

Vote Banking:

What exactly do I mean by the term “vote

banking”?

I t sounds rather a mere point but trust

me; that‟s the stronghold of this
captured system which has consciously
or subconsciously maintained it in power
until recent.

Vote banking is the act of creating

permanent and undisturbed reserves of
votes from which you just withdraw and
deposit into ballot boxes when, election
time comes.

This captured system, over the years has

accumulated hundreds of thousands of
permanent votes in different provinces.
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

28
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

There are certain areas, especially rural

areas such as Uzumbamarambapfungwe,
in which the opposition shall never win
come rain come thunder no matter how
much they might campaign. It has become
mandatory that this captured system wins
even if it doesn‟t campaign. People in such
areas have taken the support of this
captured system as a religion. Voting for
the opposition is automatically more like a
sin which harbors abomination.
Campaigning for the opposition is
blasphemy which ought to be eradicated
with immediate effect. This is one of the
reasons why they are ready to do anything,
even to attack opposition supporters; it is
in the interest of protecting this captured
system which is their sacred religion. It‟s
like there is nothing that can be done to
change that but that‟s not it.

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

29
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

How did they manage to create such a vote

bank?

When this captured system took over from

our former colonizers, they made one
important move in the interest of making
their leadership last for eternity. Firstly,
they had to attack our minds so they
grafted their school of thought into every
individual. They developed towns the
most while leaving behind rural areas
underdeveloped. This created a very big
difference between the two. It made us
believe that towns are more valuable,
prestigious and superior to rural areas. Just
to comment on that; Zimbabwe is an agro-
based economy. Agriculture is carried out
in farms. Where are the farms? They are in
the rural areas, of course. Why then do we
come to value towns more than rural
areas?

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

30
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

Mining is one of the most important

contributory chunks to our economy. I am
yet to see a gold mine pegged in the
middle of the central business district
(CBD).

Where are the mines?

They are in the rural areas of course. Land

is the most important asset we have ever
had as a nation. Our land is our heritage;
our land is our prosperity; our land is our
pride. He who has more land has more
pride. Why then is it that just a few square
meters of land in town are way more
expensive than those large square hectares
of land back in the rural areas?

Why is a five roomed house in town way

more expensive than our homestead back
in the rural areas?

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

31
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

It all goes back to the school of thought so

grafted in us.

How then does this affect our politics?

Rural areas being a vote bank of this

captured system had to be protected from
dilution at all cost. I believe there was a
special reason why they were
underdeveloped; just to exacerbate the
glory of towns. Once one gets learned,
automatically he/ she will move to settle in
town and secure what is believed to be a
prestigious life. We believe that the more
you get learned, the more you get to open
your eyes and see the reality. Once you
start seeing the reality you begin to realize
that this captured system is just a ruthless
political party psychologically molesting
people in day light, not a religion as you
grew up believing. You begin to ask
yourself such questions as: Why is it that
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

32
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

they give us food and agricultural inputs

for free every year? Why can‟t we afford
to buy on our own?

In such a manner you become a threat to

the party for you can enlighten the whole
village. What this captured system did was
to set up a structure such that once you
open up your eyes you automatically
isolate yourself from the rest by moving
into town and that way you are no longer a
threat to the vote bank. Even if you go to
settle in the urban areas the more you open
up your eyes, the more you realize that
you are being exploited and eventually
move into the diaspora, where you can‟t
vote them out at all.

However; there are others whose minds

are permanently aligned to the party no
matter what type or level of education they
get. These are the ones who move into

towns as dispersed party seeds which

germinate into activists hence adding on to
the party‟s vote, thereby making its
existence sporadic. No matter how much
people in towns might decide to
unanimously vote against this captured
system there shall always be those
dispersed party seeds who vote otherwise,
together with the beneficiaries. These
together with the vote banks take part in
canonizing a ghost each and every time.
Even if opposition leaders visit the banks
they can never change their way of
thinking in just one or two rallies. Real
politicians shall always know how to
outdo the system.

Education:

U ncle Bob being a former teacher

understood very well the importance
of education as well as its impact in
the lives of mankind. His main aim was to
make sure that every Zimbabwean gets
access to education as far as reasonably
practicable, of which he achieved. He
understood that education is the key to
success so he spread that gospel tirelessly
to the natives. Yes, indeed education is the
key to success, but not only to success on
a personal level, but success even to this
captured system itself.

What exactly do I mean?

Psychologically propagated with such a

glorified notion towards education, we
embraced the idea with a blinkered

mindset. We were pre-manipulated at the

earliest possible stages of our intimacy
with education. Even the old had to go for
adult literacy while the young engaged on
different levels of education. That was and
is still indeed a good idea even up to now.
However; we were worried about getting
access to education and forgot about the
content of our education system.
Sandwiched with our education were some
granules of indoctrinating modules and
subjects. The system was so structured in
such a way that everyone who learns in
Zimbabwe will do everything else except
rising above this captured system, no
wonder why most ministers send their
children to schools outside Zimbabwe.

but indoctrinated from the grass roots by

our education system as he was, he failed
to topple this captured system during his
era as an opposition politician, despite
being one of the most intelligent
Zimbabweans.

The act of teaching Zimbabwean biased

history from primary level is auto enslaver

We are taught that this captured system

people to see the bad side of the party.

tell you that in the event that the

government, in its failure, does not
provide you a job, find something to do on
your own. This is the reason why we see
graduates playing cat and rat games with
the city council as they practice vending
on undesignated areas. They are made to
believe that unemployment is a result of
one‟s failure to empower self, not the
government‟s fault. Graduates scatter
around the streets and sell their staff
peacefully instead of demanding their
right to employment from the government.
It always keeps agitating me that:

Why is education a constitutional right yet

employment is not declared a right?

You go to school to enhance your

knowledge and understanding so as to use
your acquired knowledge to change the
environment but what does it mean when

you are not being given that platform to

deploy your acquired skills?

You devote yourself to engineering like I

myself but the next thing after graduation
is that you are taught to employ only the
entrepreneurship skills learnt by selling
air-time in the streets and keep quite.
Demanding your right to employment is
regarded as a criminal act; exhibiting
serious lack of civilization hence
automatically you are pacified in
suppression of your rights. When and
where are you going to exhibit your
innovativeness as far as the engineering
concepts are concerned?

Our rights are being trodden on yet,

because of our education, we remain silent
while this captured system continues to
suppress us. Only a few who are employed
are producing for the company but not

system they remain silent or send just a
few representatives in the name of

interest of the masses, thus putting a
bridge between the employer and the

transformation (PLC) as well as Conflict
Transformations and Leadership (CTL),
amongst others, are modules done at
tertiary institutions which are meant to
mold us into vassals of this captured
system without failure. They emphasize on
peaceful ways of solving conflict of which
have so far proven helpless as far as our
situation is concerned. Education is one of
the tools used by this government to
manipulate us since time immemorial. It
creates a division amongst the natives.
When others are complaining about

unemployment others will be focusing on

pursuing studies not realizing that they are
also unemployed. We start worrying
about employment after school forgetting
that we were unemployed all this while
but education was obstructing us from
realizing. We could have started
demanding jobs from government at
tender ages but they managed to buy time
through education, covering up for their
failure to provide jobs by creating more
companies and hence safe guarding our
economy. The more you get educated,
the more you become harmless to the
ruling party hence the more you preserve
its existence.

Our Constitution:

has so far proven to be one of our
weakest point as far as manipulation is
concerned. It is indeed a pity that it
constitutes a lot of indirect loopholes that
has so far impaired us as a nation. To
make matters worse some of our highly
reputable advocates from the opposition
party were too blind to realize this. It
therefor surprises me a lot when they
come to us now claiming to be visionaries
who want us to vote them into power.
How can we possibly vote for such people
who are only good at analyzing and
criticizing mistakes made by the
government but too blind to see tricks
played on them by the same government
sugar-coated in the name of democracy?

That‟s an absolute insult to our intellectual

stamina. Tendai Biti and Nelson Chamisa
took a very important role in this 20th
constitutional amendment and even went a
step further by campaigning for people to
vote „yes‟ during the referendum process.
Why did they persuade us to vote “yes”
for such a biased document?

Chapter 2, section 20, subsection 1, of the

Zimbabwean constitution clearly defines
the youth as people between ages of
fifteen and thirty- five. Paragraph b.) of
the same subsection assures that the state
and all institutions and agencies of
government at every level must take
reasonable measures to ensure that youths
have opportunities to associate and to be
represented and participate in political,
social, economic and other spheres of life.
In other words, these advocates agreed to

the fact that the state shall ensure

participation of the youths in politics.
Section 67; subsection 3; paragraph a.)
solidifies their agreement by declaring the
right of youths to stand for election for
public office and, if elected, to hold such
office. However, the trick now comes with
the provisions of section 91, subsection 1
paragraph b.) which, on the other hand,
discredits the existence of the youth by
proclaiming that the presidential post is
reserved only for those forty years and
above.

What a pity!

It is indeed a pity that the same document

pretends to promote the youths but at the
same time acts in suppression of the youth.

age of a president?

Chamisa despite of him agreeing to such a

trickily suppressive document
subconsciously always refer to His
Excellency as “too old” for the post from
time and again implying that the post must
be left for those with fresh blood. How
then can those of fresh blood (The youth)
occupy the post while that clause of the
constitution is in existence as a hindrance?

Minimum age is nothing as far as

leadership is concerned. Even a teenager
can lead better than a nonagenarian as
long as he or she has the capabilities. That
clause has paved a sporadic way for those
old, uneducated, egocentric, corruption
infested and justice- repellant type of
suppressive and oppressive leaders to
continue misleading and misgoverning the
nation, looting at the expense of the

masses. What was supposed to be

stipulated in the constitution is the
maximum age or retirement age for the
president. They were supposed to say that
anyone above the usual retirement age of
sixty- five years must rest, on the account
of the scientifically proven facts, while the
psychologically fit, below that age, run the
day to day business of the government. A
normal person will never vote for such a
myopic type of a leader who claims to be a
visionary yet allowing dangerous tricks to
be played on him by the same
revolutionary party in its quest to maintain
itself in power.

Our constitution has maintained this

captured system in power through the
provisions of Part 3, Chapter 3, section
104, subsection 1 which gives the
president power to appoint ministers. How
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

can a constructive president accept the

power to appoint ministers?

This is the challenge gormandizing upon

our progress, not only as Zimbabweans
but as Africans as a whole. It paved a way
for this captured system's president to
bring closer to himself only those who
share common destructive ideologies with
him. Once ministers have been appointed
they then have dominion over their
ministries. Only those who are loyalists to
this captured system are appointed as
permanent secretaries in the ministries so
as to ensure everlasting policies and
principle of operation for that ministry,
aligned to the party‟s ideology though they
make it appear as if there are sentiments of
transparency and fairness. This therefor
has resulted in the party being supported
from all angles by the so available
ministries.
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

47
Do not be a headmaster before you master

A success seeking constitution shall strip

off the president's unnecessary power to
appoint ministers. Ministerial posts must
be “awarded”, not “rewarded”, only to
those who deserve despite of political
affiliation. An award is earned only by
those who deserve. A reward is a
thanksgiving token that is given as a result
of appreciating whatever. One can be
rewarded even if not deserving but cannot
be awarded without deserving. In my own
world of understanding, the president must
only come up with a certain list of
ministries he/ she desires to have during
his/her tenure. After coming up with the
list, the posts must be advertised as job
vacancies to be filled by people possessing
the required qualifications after
undergoing proper selection procedures.
That way we can eliminate such insults as
the appointment of an advocate as a

minister of energy or finance. Each

ministry requires certain expertise. How
can you expect a lawyer to come up with a
meaningful and practical national budget
as well as managing the country‟s finances
very well, while coming up with
permanent solutions as far as economic
development is concerned?

This is the kind of a person who has spent

his entire life studying, practicing while
digging deeper about law yet by virtue of
being a president, one can take advantage
of the constitutional right to appoint such a
person as the minister of finance simply
because it is being a reward in return of a
particular irrelevant favor. This has
resulted in most, if not all, ministers being
vassals operating under an exploitative
script authored by this captured system
thereby maintaining it in power for long.

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

49
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

It only requires such outstanding people

like Dr. Nkosana Moyo who resisted
manipulation and dissociated himself from
the so called government through
resignation. Such ministries as the
ministry of energy must be reserved for
someone who studied engineering. The
same applies to the ministry of mines, at
least someone with an engineering
background, be it mining engineering or
chemical engineering or metallurgy etc.,
can take and progressively run the
ministry.

Proceeding with my expatiations as far as

constitutional issues are concerned might
now be beyond the scope of my
professional limitations. However, the
constitution has some clauses and
provisions diplomatically set aside to
promote and protect the interests of this

captured system, providing them with

certain unnecessary powers that have so
far helped maintain them in power till
present. It requires an open minded
somebody to unveil the hidden details
behind every clause. It‟s very unfortunate
that even the so called “advocates from
the opposition” were too blind to see the
tricky and imperative part of the document
yet they claim to be smarter than this
captured system. Without holding reality
with partiality, opposition leaders must
approach every move with a sober sense
being cognizant of the advice that:

Do not be a headmaster before you master

What is it that this captured system

did to ruin our economy?

T he mistake can be traced from back

then, during the virginity of this
captured system‟s glory. After the
liberation struggle everyone was just
concerned about celebrating independence
while Uncle Bob, the master mind, was
busy planning ahead. We invested too
much of our trust in him to such an extent
that we concluded that as long as it is him
in power everything is under control. We
were concerned about the black majority
being in office without considering how
black the person in office must be. Being
black is not just about the skin pigment,
there is more to it than just being it. We
never thought that our fellow brethren
could also deliver white settler brutality
more efficiently than our former

colonizers as we can now all testify.

Everything was well with us as long as
there was a black person on the throne.
We lacked constructive and developmental
strategy from the beginning. We glorified
Uncle Bob‟s ideology that education must
be for all. We all embraced the idea with a
smiling heart.

What Uncle Bob failed to realize was the

fact that after these people attain
education, they will need somewhere to
practice their so acquired skills. He
invested a lot in education. New schools
were built. Tertiary institutions were
established. The education sector became
more successful. However, he failed to
balance the growth of the education sector
with the growth of industry. That was a
mistake whose impact took ages to be felt
but we are now at the peak of feeling it.
Rampant unemployment is currently

dominating. The nation is overflowing

with literates preprogrammed and
reprogrammed to function under the
encapsulations of this captured system's
leadership for eternity. If education is like
what the Zimbabwean situation portrays
apparently then it‟s a barren effort, utter
squander of resources indeed. It appears to
be an insult to our own intellectual
stamina.

In actual facts, education was a necessity

for everyone but the act of manipulating
people hiding under its shadow is what
went wrong from the beginning. Uncle
Bob focused much on his hidden agenda
encapsulated under the type of education
he provided for us and he focused on that
alone. He failed to think outside the box in
as much as he had a hidden agenda to be
pushed. If and only if he had managed to
balance all the spheres he could have pre-

exonerated us from these snares of poverty

in which we are entrapped.

The other biggest mistake made by Uncle

Bob was to invest much of the country‟s
resources in the defense system. Frankly
speaking, our defense system is
undeniably one of the strongest if not the
strongest in Southern Africa. However, in
his quest to maintain its glory he started to
secretly invest in it. He would sacrifice to
silently acquire the latest and outstanding
military technology. He miscalculated his
moves by assuming that there shall
continuously be wars in Africa. Since ours
is an undeniably highly reputable army,
soldiers were continuously invited to assist
in fighting for other African countries‟
freedom, sugar coated as “pan
Africanism”.

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

55
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

That was indeed an excellent idea but

however, the terms and conditions agreed
were mainly a benefit only to him and a
few top officials in the army. Taking for
example, soldiers who were sent to DRC
were generously rewarded and they made
significant progress in their lives. To them
the reward was meaningful but in actual
facts that was just a minor portion of what
the top officials had got. It was so
profitable to Uncle Bob to such an extent
that he kept on investing in it. He secretly
spent a lot of state funds upgrading and
updating military technology and skills
with the hope of continuously benefitting
from it. This gave him even the audacity
to dare and challenge European countries,
a move that harbored economic sanctions
that took us this far. He embarked on mass
recruitment in the uniformed forces with a
sole purpose of making government the
biggest employer and prove a selfish point

to the former government. This was also

yet another plan for him to reduce
opposition to his leadership since civil
servants were regarded politically neutral.
However, it ended up turning stressful to
the government and strenuous to the
budget thereby weakening our economy.

In a peaceful country like ours, soldiers

have absolutely no day to day business to
conduct. It‟s not undermining them as
such but truth to be told, they are just an
unnecessary expenditure to the budget and
stress to tax payers. Why therefore not
retraining them in other professions and
deploy them to work in strategic positions
pivotal in the development of our country,
under that same salary?

Instead of having them reporting on duty

only just to parade themselves for the sake

of formality why not reach a point

whereby we know that we have nurses,
doctors, teachers, engineers, lawyers, etc.
who are military trained and serving the
nation under that same salary, awaiting to
react only in times of threats to national
security?

That much we will have reduced the

number of unproductive civil servants and
justified the expenditure of tax payers‟
money. There can always be schedules for
them to attend some training sessions to
keep them abreast with military skills
while they are also fostering the
development of our beloved nation.
Soldiers are there to defend and protect the
country not only in times of war attacks,
but even against poverty. Someone might
argue saying that it will end up creating
unemployment but in actual facts it will
create more jobs in the long run. If these

people are being deployed in the various

sectors, they will ensure production and
reproduction of profits at reasonable
expenditure to the companies as far as
salary payments are concerned. This will
enable the companies‟ profits to be used in
their growth and expansion; that‟s where
more employment for the rest will be
created.

Selective dispensation of justice is yet

another cause to the problem we have.
You would find out that our policy makers
are the ones at the fore front of breaking
those polices they make but enjoy the
liberty of going unpunished. If you are a
loyal disciple of events, the move once
made by Dr. Gideon Gono when he called
for our policy makers to declare all their
assets was one of the most important
moves that would have gone a mighty

long way in controlling looting of state

funds and corruption. However, it became
a barren effort when those at the fore front
established other avenues as an escape
route. As it is right now you would find
out that ministers and members of
parliament are the ones in possession of
most assets and businesses. No one can
clearly trace the route they took to acquire
all those. That has become a norm to our
situation and it seems no one has the right
to ask or comment about it. It‟s so painful
that if it is just an ordinary civilian taking
the same route it is accompanied by a
series of punitive and interrogative
measures if not heavy and severe taxation
to the owner. A lot of government officials
are in possession of goldmines and other
mine claims. They are active participants
in land degradation during their processes.
However, when the Environmental
Management Agencies (EMA) does their

patrols they only target those belonging to

ordinary civilians and charge huge sums of
money as fine to them. These people are
committing the same type of offence to the
environment but only the ordinary ones
get fined is that fair?

At the same time these are the people who

do not even pay their taxes and intended
subscriptions to government and other
stakeholders such as ZIMRA. This has so
far promoted unethical practices that have
gone a mighty long way in ululating
poverty as it reproduces itself in the
Zimbabwean host.

Apparently we are all experiencing price

hikes as business people are charging their
goods and services according to the US
dollar exchange rate at the black market.
When they sat down as policy makers they

agreed that anyone found participating in

illegal money changing is entitled to a
minimum of ten years‟ imprisonment. It‟s
so despairing that the same policy makers
have their agents changing money in the
streets but they go unpunished. Only those
with no connection with them are the ones
arrested and sentenced ten years in jail.

They have so far introduced the Statutory

Instrument 142 of 2019 which banned the
use of multicurrency. Just a few days
down the line the minister of finance
himself presented his supplementary
budget in US$, some sections in RTGS$
while others in ZIM$. It is a criminal
offense for an ordinary business person to
tag his/ her goods in forex yet the minister
does tag his national budget in a
multicurrency system which he himself
criminalized. What picture does it then
give to the outside world?

Aren‟t there law expects to sue him for

such an act?

It is obvious that we are living in a country

where there is selective dispensation of
justice and that has stuck us at the same
point as far as economic development is
concerned.

Hypocrisy has also played a very pivotal

role in making sure that Zimbabwe is
always a hotspot of poverty. Our deceitful
leaders rarely practice what they preach.
They do not fulfill what they promise.
They always take us for granted. They do
not even understand why they do some of
the things. The president himself ordered
those who looted government funds and
property to return them without failure. He

even took a step further in promising to

name and shame those failing to abide.
How did that end?

Don‟t we have enough policemen to arrest

and bring the culprits to justice?

Because of this hypocrisy the government

is ever incurring unnecessary expenditure.
Let's take for example the unjustified
shooting of unarmed civilians who were
expressing their dissatisfaction on the
electoral system of Zimbabwe on 1August
2018. That was a blunder so committed by
one idiot in occupation of an undeserved
post. The person was just supposed to face
the consequences but however our
government in abundance of their
hypocrisy had to take a defensive stance in
a quest to justify their stupidity while
pretending as if they care. An unnecessary

commission of enquiries was set aside and

millions of dollars were pumped out in a
bid to buy the heart of the international
community, covering up for such a crime
against humanity. These hypocrites truly
know who deployed heavily armed men
and women into the streets to attack
innocent sons and daughters of the soil
resulting in unjustified deaths. The
person in charge was just supposed to be
charged without hesitation and at no cost
to the government.

Similarly, a peace and reconciliation

commission was set and lots and lots of
money pumped towards it, trying to sugar
coat the massacre upon the Ndebele tribe
during Gukurahundi. It‟s just a barren
hypocritical effort draining money from
the already wilting coffers. The ones

The land reform program

T he land reform program was yet

another major drawback to the
Zimbabwean economy. The idea
itself was good but embraced in a barbaric
manner. Yes, the land belonged to the
Zimbabwean African nationals, not those
whites who just adopted the tittle
"Zimbabwean" by forcefully staying and
reproducing in our motherland. Gallant
sons and daughters of the soil went to the
liberation struggle to attain freedom by
getting back all that was stolen from our
forefathers. Without land there is no
freedom at all and am glad that our
beloved South African neighbors are now
realizing.

Uncle Bob did an excellent thing by

returning back the land to its rightful
owners at no cost. However, the only
problem that we faced was poor planning.
There was need to realize that the
Zimbabwean economy was agro based.
It being agro based implied that a lot had
to be done to smoothly transfer the
production from white farmers to the black
majority. The farmers were supposed to
be moved out in phases or stages. There
was supposed to be a means of assigning
black apprentices to the white farmers.
Farms were supposed to be resized and
portions given charge to blacks under
supervision. Farms were supposed to be
completely taken charge of by the blacks
after a certain period of time. This would
ensure continuity in the outputs from the
farms. At the same time all those farms
were supposed to be made government

property not being individual assets as

they are right now. No one was supposed
to be given tittle deeds to them. That
ninety nine year lease was not necessary at
all. They were supposed to be under the
ministry of agriculture and given charge to
productive and innovative farmers on
short contract basis. Now that they were
being given to the "museyamwa's" who
did not even know how to manage we lost
our status as the breadbasket of Africa.
Our food security began to be threatened
bit by bit till we now have some areas
relying on food aid. This took us a mighty
long way deep into the streets of poverty
till now we are having ordinary civilians
failing to afford basic commodities such as
food stuffs because they are being
imported. We ended up importing more
than we are exporting and that has created
an imbalance between trades resulting in

our Zimbabwean dollar losing value on the

stock exchange.

To make matters worse, more sanctions

and trade embargoes were unlawfully
imposed on us by America and associated
allies in utter expression of dissatisfaction
towards our land reform program. This
has so far gone a mighty long way in
dragging Zimbabwe back as far as
development is concerned, simply because
of barbaric actions of this captured system.

The act of politicizing everything has

resulted in the captured system failing to
support local innovation. Our motherland
is full of men and women who are
psychologically able bodied beyond any
shadow of a doubt. Let‟s talk of our own
Daniel Chingoma of the helicopter project.
Despite the outstanding nature of his

Just imagine how far we could have gone

will our economy have gone?

his dreams up to and until he just found an
opportunity to sneak through into his long
blocked dreamland. Now everyone is
enjoying the supernatural services offered
by ECONET. His ECOCASH idea is the
one propelling us through this cash crisis.
All this was being blocked simply because
of the selfishness of just a bunch of people
constituting this captured system. Their
weakness is that they always want to be in

claimed to be a cure against H.I.V and
AIDS. Though he claimed that this was
based on a series of laboratory researches
he was seriously opposed by our
authorities instead of him being given
enough scientific attention may be he truly
had found the cure. Following the nature
of the arguments so raised by this captured
system one would clearly see that they are
purely political.

Now where are we?

The act of sending away "cream of the

Students with quality brains are sent out of

thing. In some way it‟s their way of
reducing threats to them but at the same
time creating brain drain. It‟s just the same
scenario when the Europeans came to
Africa for slavery. They took able
bodied men and women with them and
used them to lay foundation for their

development. This is the reason why

Europe seems to be technologically
advanced than Africa. The best were taken
out of Africa and used to develop Europe
instead, leaving behind those with poor
market value who in turn could not cope
up with European development but
established their own development which
Europe discredited and regarded as lack of
civilization.

When best students are sent out on

scholarships they are learning curriculums
for that particular country so designed
with a sole purpose of producing a certain
type of professionals best suiting their
development. This implies that most of
those learning outside Zimbabwe are
acquiring highly valued skills but which in
most cases are inappropriate for our
development as a nation. Let's take our
finance minister for example. Being

intelligent and highly qualified as he is, he

is failing to come up with better economic
reforms suitable for the development of
this nation. Yes, his ideologies are
excellent but not practically applicable to
the Zimbabwean situation. His
economics is economics of case studies
not of what's on the ground. His measures
might have been successfully applied
somewhere and made sense in those
countries but being of insignificant
relevance to our economic situation.
This makes him a total failure in
Zimbabwe but a legend somewhere out
there why?

It's because he is applying solutions of yet

another country in trying to solve the
Zimbabwean crisis, confusion being a
derivative of where he learnt. Had he
studied in Zimbabwe his entire career he
could have been in a position to come up

with something meaningful in just a short

period of time. All his ideologies are
excellent but make him a misfit to the
Zimbabwean situation.

Government must stop sending best

students outside the country in order to
limit the number of confused misfits. Once
they learn outside the country they suit
perfectly those countries and can perfectly
develop those countries not Zimbabwe in
most cases.

Over the years this captured system has

become the greatest abuser of parastatals.
It behaves like a ruthless teacher

functions are an expense to the parastatals.

Workers do suffer at the appeasal of this
captured system. Essential company
programs are suspended and funds
mischanelled towards the government
programs. On several occasions payment
of civil servants is made a secret
responsibility of parastatals and I get to
wonder where the taxpayer's money will
have been taken to. This is actually what
is crippling most parastatals and deferring
their progress. Often times ZISCO STEEL
donated millions and millions of dollars
towards this captured system‟s congresses
and the president's birthday but where is it
now?

Certain government officials had their

holidays being an expense covered by the
company but how did it end?

than forty months‟ salary. Wankie Colliery
and NRZ were also oscillating with the
same amplitudes with ZISCO STEEL.
By the same token they also ended up
owing innocent hardworking workers
months and months of salaries.

Because of the abuse of parastatals petty

things are prioritized while costing a lot to
the company resulting in them being
malfunctioned yet you hear the same
government that destroyed it by its abusive
culture, claiming that the company needs
investors for it to function properly once

caused the company's incapacitation. On
top of that they make it extremely difficult
for the investor to invest in such a

will be just a journey in circles hence such
companies in as much as they create
massive employment they are
malfunctioned resulting in rampant
unemployment in the country and acute
downfall of the economy. These
companies were once functioning properly
without investors so can still function
properly without investors once again but
that is if and only if these guys revise their
manners and stop abusing parastatals.

WHAT IS IT THAT CAN BE

DONE TO CORRECT THE
DAMAGE?

Education

T he first stage in correcting the damage and

hence solving our problem is correcting
our education system which is making us
vassals to this captured system, the king of
poverty. Education is that which remains after
forgetting everything you have been taught.
What is it that you become after you have gone
to school is what matters, not grades. We need to
revise the content of our modules and
curriculums in order to develop this nation.
Certain modules and subjects must be phased
out of the system and remain with only that
which matters. Children must be given direction
at a tender age. They must have career guidance

your head!

at the earliest stages of their intimacy with

education. I suggest they learn the existence of
all professions at primary level. A grade one
student must be in a position to know what a
doctor or engineer does in life. Children must be
exposed to all the career pathways at a tender
age. They must spend much of their time
learning how to become professionals not
wasting their time learning useless things that
won‟t benefit them in future. Teach children
that there is someone called an accountant in
grade one and make sure they know what an
accountant does. Teach them the nature of an
accountant's job as they grow. Let them know
the requirements for one to become an
accountant before they leave primary school.
Grade seven must be a year of choosing the
careers they need to pursue. Secondary level
must be a level where they are introduced to the
basic principles of their careers and they go
deeper and deeper along the way. Tertiary
institutions must be for work related learning
only not a high mental pressure zone
characterized by the "cram pass and forget"
principle as they are now.
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

82
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

Because of the abnormal workloads students are

just focused on getting better grades even
without understanding what they are studying.
They are just cramming for the sake of passing,
forgetting everything just after the exam. Why
can't all that which is necessary for the study of
that particular profession be spread along the
way from secondary school such that it truly
percolates into the student for good?

This will take a bigger stance in developing

passion in professionals. We are having a
scenario whereby people end up doing say
engineering simply because they failed to secure
a place to study medicine. In that case the person
is doing so for the sake of doing but without
passion. Tertiary institutions are producing not
professionals but jobseekers who are after
money. No wonder why we are having doctors
stupid enough to go on strike because of a salary
while people are dying lacking attention in
hospitals. If that person was taught what a doctor
does at a tender age and developed passion along
the way, that person would complain about

money while saving people's lives. If the

nurses had developed passion at a tender age, we
wouldn't be having rough nurses harassing
patients at hospitals. If engineers had developed
passion along the way, we couldn't be having
engineers with no significant projects besides
signing leave forms in companies. Passion is
everything and must be propagated into a person
at childhood.

What's the reason behind teaching history to

someone who wants to be a doctor in life?

Why teaching a prospective engineer Religious

and Moral Education at primary level as if
he/she is going to be a pastor?

Why bother teaching agriculture to someone

who is going to be an accountant?

Some subjects must be learnt out of interest

outside the classroom. That's why we have
libraries and archives. He who wants to be a
pilot but just wants to know about history must

go to the library and get books not making him

study it by force. Let those who want, study.

Our education system must teach us to mind our

own business. Primary education must be
introduction to life and all its associated careers
up to and until one chooses what he or she wants
to be in future. Once one chooses a career let
him or her focus on that career alone and reduce
the unnecessary workload. We mustn't waste
time doing that which is outside our careers.
The whole lot of stuff learnt in tertiary
institutions can then be learnt in high schools
and secondary schools to enhance deeper
understanding. It has proven to be of no help
having students with more than five ordinary
level passes but only to use one in life. Sons
and daughters of the soil are spending time and
resources to earn five ordinary level subjects
delaying progress in life and diminishing their
hope.

Albert Einstein was just good in physics alone

but he became one of the greatest scientist of our
time. Our education system must accommodate

such people and nature them into what they want

instead of them being shuttered dreams by the
five o levels policy.

We are at war with poverty. Schools must

produce effective and efficient warriors who win
the battle without failure. They must not reduce
the speed and efficiency of the warrior through
unnecessary baggage. Other modules and
subjects being taught in schools are mandatory
but irrelevant as far as the student's career is
concerned. Students must be allowed to carry
only that which is necessary for the war alone
and carry it in abundance instead of being given
a mandate to carry unnecessary baggage of
modules. The time students spend in tertiary
institutions is too little to grasp all that is
expected of a professional. This ends up
producing job seekers who are after money no
wonder why you see graduates selling
vegetables in the streets. It's because they are not
true graduates but money seekers who can do
anything just to earn. If basic principles of
careers are taught at primary while depth into the
field increases along the way someone reaches

tertiary stage already a passionate professional

only awaiting a few things to be finalized in
order to start practicing the profession. This
will also go a mighty long way in eradicating
even corruption. If someone chose to be a
policemen and natured to be one from
childhood, that person will understand that crime
is what he/she must focus on ending no matter
what. Once crime has been detected it has to be
dealt with without exemption. That kind of a
policeman won‟t be wicked enough to accept
bribes from criminals even if he/she is being
underpaid. That alone is a great sign of
patriotism not the forceful love of this captured
system that is being mistaken for patriotism.

Once we manage to change our education

system we produce true professionals ready to
transform our country for the better. We won‟t
waste much of our time studying what other
people achieved. Rather we will spend much of
our time discovering and inventing things,
methods and formulas of our own. We won‟t be
having a crisis of quoting long dead white
scholars only but ours instead. Technical courses

won't be taught in classrooms but on site instead-

thus work related learning, the only way to
produce a true professional. Professionals wont
dessert the country in search of greener pastures.
Rather they will strive to plant and water their
own pastures till they are green instead, passion
being the driving force. Zimbabwe will be
greater than before without any excuse.

Economy

I f our Zimbabwean dollar was once

equivalent to the British pound, then
nothing can stop the same from
happening once again for history repeats
itself. When I look at my mother country
my heart bleeds and I feel pain indeed.
We had ZISCO STEEL as the giant steel
producing company in Southern Africa
while one of the greatest in the whole
world. The biggest electrolysis plant in
the whole world, SABLE CHEMICALS
lies idle in the midlands province of
Zimbabwe. We do have the first longest
conveyor belt in the whole world
stretching for about 15.6 kilometers
without a join from Ripple Creek mine to
ZISCO STEEL. We do have everything
and absolutely everything. We are ranked
one of the richest, if not the richest in the
whole world, as far as mineral resources

are concerned with more than sixty-three

minerals on demand so far discovered.
However, its indeed a disgust that we are
ranked one of the poorest in the whole
world why?

It is because of poor management. We

must change the way we think and
organize ourselves and learn to manage
our own resources without corruption. We
cannot wait for someone from outside the
country, probably from a country not
resourceful as us, to come and teach us
how to manage our own resources. We
do not need investors at all to transform
our economy. We need to transform our
economy on our own. Investors must not
be at the backbone of our economic
development. They must be just a spice
to our economy meant to strengthen our
diplomatic ties with their mother
countries. Zimbabweans must invest in

their own country. They must learn to

process their own resources not just
waiting to export raw materials. We
need to focus on producing for local
consumption because we are the biggest
customers of our own. We must not worry
much about exporting because we locally
need what we are exporting. We must
not continue crying foul over the illegally
imposed sanctions hindering us from
exporting our products. When America
imposes sanctions on us let's also impose
ours back instead of bootlicking them. We
cannot be vassals simply because we
intend to sell our diamonds to them yet our
own people do not even have diamond
rings and necklaces. We need to make it a
point that we consume our products first
before we export the raw materials only to
import them back as processed goods
again. We need to enhance local trade first
before peeping at the world market. We
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

need to reduce unnecessary imports at all

cost and be human enough to sustain
ourselves. We cannot afford to continue
importing toothpicks as if we don't have
our own trees here. We must be sensible.

We need to separate politics and

economics no matter how others might be
foolish enough to argue. When politics
suffer let not that affect our economics. A
business person must not be a politician
and a politician must not be a business
person also.

We need to ensure equal distribution of

wealth at all cost. Impartial legislation
must be imposed with immediate effect to
correct imbalances in the distribution of
wealth. In this crippled economy how
come we have someone being called a
millionaire while others are struggling to
earn even a single dollar?
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

92
Do not be a headmaster before you master
your head!

How come we are having land barons yet

someone is struggling just to pay rent?

How come we are having someone flying

to Singapore just for maternity delivery
yet someone is failing to afford just to get
medical card stamped at a local clinic?

The answer is just simple. There are no

sacred hustles being done. It is clear that
those who are rich are stealing from the
poor. They are the reason why most
people are poor. There is nothing like hard
work that makes such a huge difference in
the gap between rich people and poor
people. Does it mean to say that those who
are poor are not working hard? What kind
of hustles are you doing that are not being
done by others?
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

93
Do not be a headmaster before you master

In actual facts there is no poverty in

Zimbabwe but unequal distribution of
wealth instead. Mineral resources that are
being exploited by just a few can bennefit
the whole country. The little US dollar
that is available can be shared equally
amongst Zimbabweans and ease the cash
crisis. While most bank account balances
hardly go beyond three figures, some are
outliers operating above six figures. I
deem it justified justice for the authorities
to freeze all those outlying bank accounts
and assets and share them equally amongst
every citizen if they are a caring
government. Let's oscillate with the
same amplitudes. If we rise let‟s rise
together and when we fall let‟s fall
together.

Legislation governing companies must be

put in place also. There is need to correlate

and integrate all the companies into a

group of companies. There must be
some ecosystematic symbiotic relationship
between all the local companies such that
when they rise they rise together. We need
to set them a threshold of profit per
particular trading period. Instead of
squandering the profits they ought to loan
them to yet another struggling company
which in turn will do the same when its
business is back on track. We must reach a
scenario whereby when ZISCO STEEL
reaches the so set threshold it loans the
money to say NRZ maybe for its
recapitalization. NRZ is a rail
transportation company. Once
restructured it means that ZISCO and
other companies will transport efficiently
their goods and hence improve its earnings
until it also reaches the threshold and loan
the excess to say Wankie Colliery.
Colliery will produce more coal and hence

more electricity for the nation and other

companies, the chain going on and on. We
need to reach a stage where local
companies sign mega deals amongst
themselves say Zimbabwe Power
Company directly supplies electricity to
ZISCO STEEL and ZISCO STEEL pays
in the form of high speed steel for turbines
on the generating stations, not to promote
foreign companies first instead. Taking
for example the deal signed between NRZ
and Beightbridge Bulawayo Railways
(BBR). BBR renovated the railway line
and NRZ gave them a lease of the railway
line in return. The same could have been
done with a local company promoting
success to the whole group of companies
in the long run.

our progress. It doesn't matter how much
you strive to look like an American and
talk to Our Creator like a British, an

you can never confuse our creator. We
have lost our identity as Africans in a
quest to modernize and westernize our
lifestyle. We used to have our life
smoothly flowing under the guidance of
our forefathers. Now because of the
inversion of Christianity, confusion
became dominant. We have forsaken our
forefathers. We failed to realize that even
Jesus Christ Himself still honored His
forefathers and took part in His cultural
activities. He was frequently called The
Son of David despite of the fact that David

was once recorded in The Bible as a

sinner. He was circumcised on the eighth
day and then given a name then after,
according to His native culture (Luke 2 vs
21). All this stands as a proof that The
Role Model of Christians still honored His
forefathers and observed His culture.

We have reached a point where by we are

just moving in darkness. There exist
“midzimu yenyika” but we no longer
consult the spirit mediums or ask for
guidance from our ancestors. Innocent
blood which was shed in the liberation
struggle lies at Nyadzonya down there but
no one bothers listening to their voices.
Even the Bible has it recorded that "For
we are surrounded by great a cloud of
witnesses". These are the great cloud of
witnesses surrounding us and interceding
for us to our Creator. They have managed

to walk with our freedom fighters during

the liberation struggle and gave them
guidance till Zimbabwe became an
African territory again- What a success.
Nothing used to happen without warning
from our spirit mediums. Traditional
rainmaking ceremonies were held and
agricultural activities promoted without
failure. Right now we are failing to secure
food enough to take us throughout the
year. Before we find reasons to justify our
failure why can't we be humble enough to
go before our ancestors and ask for
pardon? Right now we have our
metrological department telling us about
climatic changes resulting in erratic
rainfall hence downfall in agricultural
activities. We then pump out lots and
lots of money from our already wilting
coffers and invest in what we call
"command agriculture/ command
farming." This is costing us a lot of which

the problem could have been solved in just

one traditional ceremony in which we
brew beer to appease our ancestors.

Our shrines which ought to be sacred

places are now being made tourist resort
areas where every Tom, Dic and Herry
gets access to even without being
cleansed- what a disgrace. The love of
foreign currency has led us to open our
secret places for everyone without consent
from our ancestors.

Don't you think our suffering is a

punishment from great ones of this nation?

Mining activities are now being done

anywhere and everywhere including our
sacred places. This has gone a mighty long
way in discrediting the ancestors of the
lands and hence them being displeased.
We are in this abomination because we do

not take life seriously. We have invested

all our hope for the solutions to the white
skin and hence allowed them bring their
compromised way of worshiping to
override our African way of worshiping.
They act as if they imported a new god to
Africa totally different from Our God.
God is still God and must be worshipped
in truth and in spirit. Our African
Traditional religion was and is still the
best and nothing demonic about it. We
need to restore confidence in it and be
humble enough to give precedence to our
ancestors and get guidance and ideas
without failure. This act of discrediting
spirit mediums has dragged development
not only in Zimbabwe but Africa as a
whole. Our religion was and still
remains yet another perfect way of
worshiping.

continental leadership crisis because of the
adopted processes we are undertaking in
choosing leaders without ancestral
consent.

Developed countries know very well how

to run their affairs. The British still
honor and have their British Queen
traditionally chosen and then other
leadership posts fashionably elected. They
still honor their culture as they try to
embrace the so called civilization of
choosing hierarchy. We were colonized
and made to throw away our kings and
chiefs. We were left alone with the elected
hierarchy whose election process has
human manipulation. We have our chiefs

of everything. They are being used,

bribed with worthless gifts by the captured
system. We seriously need to revert back
to our original African culture. Let us have
our own Kings and Queens presiding in
our political matters. For leisure we can
then elect other leaders as usual. The
elected leaders should function under the
jurisdiction of Kings, Queens and chiefs
for they are the ones regarded closer to
The Most High. I know most of the people
will find it difficult to appreciate this but
let‟s not forget that we are Africans. Let
us strive to revert back to our original
identity and stop giving precedence to
those adopted cultures bringing in
abomination to the land, manifesting in
our economy. Things will get back to
normal. Even our health sector won‟t
succumb to the ravages of the currently
prevailing conditions.

Gukurahundi
his remains the most sensitive and the

T most progress hindering issue in the

history of mankind. Innocent men
and women of the Ndebele tribe were
ruthlessly killed for no apparent reason. So
many of them were left succumbing to the
ravages of post traumatic exposure. That
was indeed a moment of madness as once
described by one dignitary. The plights
were too deep to ignore. The Ndebele tribe
is still drowning in tears. We lost
numerous sons and daughters of the soil
due to selfish reasons. The gap still
remains a void.

kinds of conflicts are nothing but just a
mere wastage of our productive time. We
are very sorry that innocent Ndebele blood

such organizations for exacerbating the
conflict by their biased researches full of

its ears. There is more to the Gukurahundi

issue than it seems.

After crossing the Limpopo River during

their migration, the Ndebele people
attacked and killed so many Shona and
conquered the land. They took with them
their livestock as well as their beautiful
wives and daughters. That's what filled
Matebeleland with beautiful women and
livestock for cattle ranching. They
became masters of the land which did not
originally belong to them. They used the
shonas and treated them as their vassals.
Who has so far managed to claim back

After the independence the captured

claimed to be dissidents of their era. No
one is sure whether it was revenge or

It remains a topic of interest and probably
the only weapon used by outsiders to
divide the nation. I think it‟s high time we
unite and get rid of the past. Let bygones
be bygones for if we are to dig deeper into
the matter we will discover that those
crying foul are the ones at fault. We
need to understand and appreciate the fact
that of course our captured system
massacred the Ndebele but the Ndebele

whose families are to be treated equally as

respect one another. We must unite and
cooperate to develop the land of our
forefathers. We must abolish tribalism
without failure. No one is more
Zimbabwean than the other. We must
develop ourselves fully through education.
We mustn't be tribal sensitive especially
when it comes to jobs for jobs are awarded
on the basis of qualifications not tribalism.
We have heard several incidences
whereby a group called Mthwakazi revolt
claiming that jobs are being awarded to
more shonas than Ndebeles. Jobs are for

as presupposed by yet another progress

I n as much as our cabinet is running on the

that it is not solely their business to run this

implemented in other countries in which they
were ideal. I do trust and believe in this young
generation. They can easily come up with
models of their own, perfectly ideal for our
situation. It‟s only a matter of being humble and
having each cabinet minister gathering with
graduates and professionals under his/ her
ministry from time and again. Being a minister
does not mean that you are the best at all. A lot
of better people are out there and with better
ideas that develop. It only takes an objective
minded minister to seat down in consultation
with them instead of seeking ideas from the
partisan members of parliament who cannot

come up with meaningful suggestions but

unnecessary arguments and criticism instead.

Whosoever is the president must be careful

when choosing the cabinet. Our crisis now is
simply because we are having wrong people in
the offices. Lawyers are all over the cabinet
bringing up nothing but confusion instead.
Lawyers are excellent only in their field and
must be shown respect by not burdening them
with tasks they cannot execute. We are having a
scenario whereby ministers are absolutely
illiterate in their respective ministries. We are
having a crisis in the electricity power supply.
Better solutions could have been brought if we
had a technical person in that office. Right
now we rest assured that billions and billions of
dollars have been set aside to recapitalize
Hwange so that we have more coal for electricity
production. That's indeed a good idea but not
ideal for the situation. We are having five
major power stations four of which are thermal

power stations. These are the ones failing us

bit by bit. Our minister was not flexible enough
to realize that it's high time we opt for yet
another source of power. Having lead and
uranium locally available in abundance why
couldn't we channel that money towards the
construction of a nuclear power plant? Because
he is not that much well versed in that area our
minister deemed it a solution to keep on
focusing on those old sources which are failing
us.

He couldn't resist the decision by the finance

minister of declaring all solar equipment duty
free on borders but later on attracting tax per
solar panel. I strive on my own to buy and install
my solar system. Everything has been my
expense but now how come I am being told to
register my solar panels and pay tax as if the sun
is coming from the government?

What contribution did government make in me

acquiring my solar power?

It all comes back to the issue of assigning

wrong people in offices. We have too many
unnecessary lawyers all over our cabinet. They
must all excuse us and pave a way for progress
in all the other ministries they do not suit. We
love our lawyers and we seriously need them but
not all over our cabinet and politics at all. Let
each ministry be an award to the one who
perfectly deserve.

This captured system

P rincipally the system was not captured. Its

formation was indeed the best thing that
has ever happened in the history of
mankind. It was formed in good faith and with
good intentions. The unity they had brought us
independence. Their love for the nation is what
brought us education and made us literates up to
this level. We now have our land back because
of them. We are living in a peaceful
environment because of them. A lot of good was
brought about as a result of their sacrifices.
Women were empowered as a result of their
efforts. Gender equality was promoted by their
efforts. Women are no longer second class
citizens. Girl child was empowered and armed to
participate in the day to day business of the
country. Child marriages were demonized in a
quest to promote and protect the girl child.
Labor laws were put in place promoting and
protecting the workforce. Workers' Committees
and trade unions were established in the interest

of ensuring fair labor practices. So many human

rights were declared and constitutionalized. Our
identity was decorated by their fruitful activities.
Pan Africanism was promoted and so many pan
African states benefited. A lot of good was done
by the revolutionaries as a result of their true
patriotism. It's only that they were captured and
infiltrated at one point and a lot of bad things
started happening.

So many mistakes were committed. Selfishness

and corruption became their common identity.
Their deeds ensured equal distribution of
poverty amongst the ordinary citizens. Good
life became a sacred gift specifically meant only
for those in power and their associates.

However, upon full realization of the inversion

of the weevils, efforts were made to restore the
legacy but their image was already tarnished.
Their true identity was compromised. People
lost hope in them. They became known for bad
things. The system had already got captured
indeed.

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

121

your head!

However, it will be unjust for us to discredit the

good they did while focusing on the bad side. No
matter how evil they became, despite the extent
to which they were captured, they remain the
backbone of our existence. They still deserve our
respect and honor. They truly have the interest
of protecting their country. They might have run
out of progressive ideas but they still remain true
patriots. This therefore calls for a need to rewrite
our constitution and adopt the American system
of college voters. Let our revolutionary cadres
pave a way for new heroes of our time to run
this country. They have fought a good fight and
now deserve to stay at the terraces as college
voters who provide us with guidance in the event
we get lost especially in choosing our leaders.
That will go a mighty long way in fostering
democracy. It will allow them to continue
moving with their principal core values of
protecting the native interests and fostering
development.

Let them ensure that such a mistake of allowing

parties to be captured by whosoever, does not
happen again. This can be achieved by

incorporating a clause in the constitution that

prohibits any ruling party from fielding a
presidential candidate if it won the previous
time. Understanding that democracy is a
competition of ideas, a party shall lead only for
one term and be relieved the following term.
This will allow them to re- strategize and come
up with fresh and competitive ideas on how to
run the country. It will be believed that they
exhaust their ideas during their turn in office.
The following election they must not field a
presidential contestant. The party shall take a
rest and then contest any other time they deem
necessary. This will ensure that no party
overstays in power and no clueless party
accesses power. No party will ever be infiltrated
at the expense of the masses.

A word is enough for the wise, wisdom is to

know what to do next, future is to do so.

legacy?

but will never "cease the fire". The
captured system has only failed to develop
our country but will never stop the
development of our country. There is and
shall always be hope to accelerate to the
greatest possible heights. We have
everything at our own disposal. We were
blessed with abundant resources. Good
climatic conditions are our free gift from
The Almighty. We have very fertile and
productive soils. We have notable
industries worldwide. We have
particularly one of the strongest if not the
strongest army to protect us. Almost
everyone is able to read and write. We
have plenty of professionals. Intelligence

is abundant in Zimbabweans. Potential

surrounds us from all angles and corners.

Tourist resort areas are plenty everywhere.

In fact, our country is almost every
European‟s dream. Even the Asians are
willing to do business with us. We have
plenty of love and peace in every corner.
We are God's favorite and our ancestors
do love and protect us. Our land is the best
in deed.

Now that we have so far managed to

identify one or two things that were
dragging us behind, we are now geared for
progress. Corrections are now to be done.
The real definition of politics is now to be
mastered. The proper definition of
democracy is to be derived. We used to
have only one political party while others
were just groups of misinformed and
misdirected critiques. Now that the truth

a better political environment. We now
know what needs to be done and how to
do it so nothing can hinder our progress
anymore. The problem was that we were
independent from white settler brutality
but still psychologically colonized. By
changing the way we think we will be able
to demonize corruption and viably manage
our own resources. We no longer rely on
foreign investors who loot and benefit
from our resources. Rather we are
equipped with psychological capital
enough to invest in our own country. We
shall run our affairs smoothly without any
hindrances. By continuously subscribing

shall be exemplary to the whole world.

are around the corner. Be prepared.

Who then is to take us to the

greatest possible heights?

A s once alluded by my role model, the

great Julius Malema of EFF South Africa,
any fool can be a president. It doesn't
matter who gets into power. What matters are
the prescribed qualities. What is it that we
expect from a president?

Amongst those willing who is he/she that can be

entitled to our trust?

We must take ourselves to the greatest possible

heights. We must be the ones in power and put
anyone on the forefront. A president must not
rule the nation but must be ruled by the nation.
Government must not govern the nation but
must be governed by the nation. Let's get rid of
those who show signs of ego, those who want to
get into power for the sake of driving the nation
their selfish way.
By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

Do not be a headmaster before you master

We have plenty of soft detectors amongst our

presidential candidates, people who seize power
in their political parties and then
constitutionalize and justify their stupidity. We
must be aware of those idiots and never be
stupid enough to put them in the office.

We must not get carried away by flowery

speeches. Some people are excellent speakers
with answers to every question. We must know
that they are just as good as party spokesmen not
president of the nation.

They tell people what they want to hear not what

they have in stock for delivery. They make fake
promises. They promise you bullet trains in a
country failing to refurbish its railway system.
They promise you spaghetti roads in a country
struggling to cover potholes and with some areas
having gravel roads while others having no
roads at all. They market more than they can
deliver; Beware!

By Trymore Rugare Musipa ©2020

They lie for the sake of gaining support. They

arrive at rallies with motorcades and in movie
styles just to give hope their misguided
followers. They are excellent in highlighting
problems and mistakes of the ruling government
but with no solution at all, thus utter journalism
in its undiluted concentration. They are as
good as journalists and not presidents.

They create civil unrest by driving supporters

into the streets for demonstrations in which they
do not participate. When the captured system
sends uniformed forces to attack, only the
innocent will suffer the consequences. They
are good as student activists and SRC presidents
not national presidents.

They are hypocrites who misuse and abuse the

name of God. They make long campaign prayers
at rallies to pretend they are God-fearing. They
claim that they were sent from above only to
marinate the hearts of their followers for
misguidance. If God had truly sent them why
didn't He put them in power directly? All those

are fake claims and such people deserve not to

be in power else their abomination will cost the
whole nation.

The study of theology and philosophy does not

make one righteous. People must learn not to
confuse the two. Don't vote for a person who
studied philosophy and theology hoping that
he/she is righteous. Evil politicians are hiding
under The Name of God. The country is in
need of a president, not a pastor so vote not for
those who claim to be pastors. Let them join
others in churches not wasting our time in
politics.

Their supporters often wish them to be in power

so that it will be the first time Zimbabwe is run
by a handsome president. Election time is not a
beauty contest so let them go for beauty contest
instead of wasting our time.

They often claim to be fresh blood yet they are

the ones who advocated for a constitution which
defines youths as people between ages of fifteen
and thirty-five. They are typical old men who do

not want to grow old. If they say the post must

now be filled with the young generation let them
step down for they now belong to the same
category with those octogenarians and
nonagenarians they often condemn.

They do press ups in front of the supporters to

prove their fitness. The country is in need of a
president not a PE expert. Let them go to the
gym where they suit, not in the president's
office.

They claim to have been promised Father

Zimbabwe's knobkerrie and want to use it as a
campaign strategy. Don‟t vote for them. Let
them go after the dead's possessions as they are
good at, not putting them in office.

They claim to be in good books with the

American presidents. They lie that they were
promised billions and billions of United States
dollars by the United States once they get into
power. Send them to their American friends.
Zimbabwe is looking for a president not a

bootlicking beggar. Do not mistake a beggar for

a president.

Yes. Any fool can be a president but not every

fool must be a president.

Let them rest all that have once been part of the
captured system. They claim to have been born
again but the president's office is not a church
where those tired of doing evil find rest. Let
them who have changed go to places for the
reformed not our president's office.

That office does not belong to those baseless

people who emerge towards elections just to
cause confusion and division of votes. Don't
waste your time and votes on people who only
emerge on ballot papers. Election time is not a
time for surprises.

Anyone who talks of corruption being the major

is not ideal for a presidential post. Corruption is

not a problem at all but a symptom of the

problems we have in Zimbabwe.

Whosoever promises investor friendly polices is

not a president material. We do not need
investors to revive our economy. We only need
to transform our business culture and learn to
manage our own resources.

He who comes campaigning for the second time

after once being a president must not be voted
for at all. You had your time in office and you
delivered your best. What more do you still want
to deliver?

We cannot be stupid enough to award you more

time to steal from our country and ruin our
future.

Pay no attention to cry babies who come

narrating how the captured system victimized
and abused them. They just want to portray
themselves as the greatest political sufferers of
our time. When they start lamenting just tell

them that "politics is a dirty game but all you

need to make sure is that you don't get dirty
when playing the game". We cannot be
continuously psychologically molested in
daylight, gone are the days.

It is indeed evident that no one on the spotlight

is eligible of being the president of this nation as
of yet. As alluded before, any fool can be a
president but not every fool must be a president.
We still have a mighty long way to go. Those to
contest for 2023 must start working on their
intellectual stamina seriously. For the mean
time let us work towards restoring our culture of
kings and queens as the general overseers of this
nation while we have elected politicians as a
spice to our governance just like Britain. The
elected politicians must also incorporate the
issue of college voters to embrace democracy to
its fullest. You and I have a very big role to play
in accelerating the nation to the greatest possible
heights. Your vote is like your virginity, spend
it wisely and never regret later.

What is your role in the

transformation process?

Z imbabwe belongs to you, not to the

politicians. Transformation will be
brought by you not by politicians. You
are the bus driver in this journey of life. You
direct your way, pace and speed. Politicians are
like kombi conductors. They just assist with
one or two along the journey. Even if the
kombi conductor tells the driver where to go, it‟s
up to the driver to decide. If he decides not to,
the conductor has no option than to go with him
wherever he has decided. Politicians must not
determine where our future goes. We must
determine the direction we want and they have
to follow suit. They are our messengers so they
have to do what we want them to do not the
other way round.

Zimbabweans must change the way they think

in order for us to progress. We must not put

We must not wait for them to act and bring

Before we start blaming the government what is

it that we are doing with the situation?

Our roads are full of potholes but what is it that

we are doing as objective minded citizens?

It's high time we unite and stand as one not

Most of our politicians drive big, fancy cars and

best we take our picks and shovels and cover the

potholes with those available resources while

complaining about government's failure, not
planting banana trees as once done by some
people as a way of demonstrating. Let's
complain but at the same time protecting our
cars, reducing road accidents and journey
discomfort.

We want our towns and cities to be clean but we

are the ones throwing litter everywhere. We
then blame the government for not executing
their duties to the fullest as if they're the ones
throwing papers everywhere. We need to
exercise responsibility by not throwing litter
everywhere. Pick up papers and throw in rubbish
bins instead. Churches and other organizations
must advocate for endless clean up campaigns
while they complain that the government is
letting us down.

Price hikes are a result of market forces chasing

ten-year jail sentence?

If our captured system releases them for they are

By so doing; you will have sent a message to the

ones behind all that and told them that citizens

You want a company to continue functioning but

you are stupid enough to employ your under
qualified relatives on a nepotistic perspective.
Can't you see that even you will end up being
unemployed due to bankruptcy of that company?
Yet you have the audacity to blame the
government for unemployment. Where do you
think you are taking the nation to?

Be Zimbabwean enough to tell your relatives to

kindly apply where their qualifications are valid
and save the nation from this mess.

You are the one diabolic enough to neglect your

relatives in need. A lot of blind men out there do
have relatives but they were neglected. They
took themselves to the streets for begging. They
took with them their children for assistance.
These children were supposed to be in school.
I always ask myself where the fathers/ mothers
to those children are. How many lives have

You are the one sleeping around producing

children you cannot take responsibility of. So
many children lie in the streets come rain come

decent shelter. They can't afford schooling yet
you are either the irresponsible father or just a
careless relative. Another soul is in trouble yet
you can help. You are busy blaming the

Africa....

Before we proceed let's just have a

spirit of The Great Gaddafi. ...............

I n as much as he was condemned, there

is one thing I admire about him- his
vision to have the united states of
Africa. This was and indeed is the
reason why he had to be condemned and
regarded a tyrant by the super powers. He
was not a tyrant as they presuppose but a
threat to them instead.

What do I mean?

Africa is the source of raw materials to

many continents. We do have plenty of

natural resources. So many outsiders

want to be in charge of our African land so
that they loot and exploit while developing
their continents. We are the cradle of
mankind and the home of civilization.
The first university was in Morocco hence
the hub of civilization. Behind everything
good is African roots, argue all you want
but that's a fact.

Even the so called development in most of

their continents was laid foundation by
Africans. They bullied and abused our
forefathers and dehumanized them. They
were treated like tools and traded like
objects during slave trade. Our able bodied
men and women were being sold and
treated like labor machines. They were
used to develop their infrastructure and
promote their economic activities. They
made a lot of money out of selling our
able bodied men and women. They killed

a lot of our forefathers during that era. We

spent more than a century suffering brain
drain due to slave trade. After they had
used our forefathers to flourish their
continents; that's when the so called
abolitionists emerged advocating for the
end of slave trade.

As if that was not enough they invaded

again and colonized our continent just to
loot and exploit our resources. They came
stupid enough to claim that their mission
was to spread civilization. How can you
spread civilization to the roots of
civilization?

They realized that as long as the African

continent was one their mission was never
going to be successful. They made sure
that they divide us at all cost. They
established boarders- a system which our

forefathers never knew. African states

were then demarcated in a quest to
separate the united sons and daughters of
the African soil.

They realized that we were a peaceful

nation united and clinging on to our
culture. They introduced us to their
compromised way of worship and
demonized our own way of worship as if
they imported a new god for us. I am an
open minded Christian who is not blinded
by religion. I see and speak the truth. They
brought us their politicized book of
worship called The Bible. Just to have a
brief history of The Bible; that was a
project of the Roman Emperor
Constantine, his theologians and The
Church Fathers. The Books in there were
just scattered all over before. They were
written by people under the influence of
The Holy Spirit. When the Roman

Emperor, Constantine took the Christian

side after attributing his war victory to the
Christian God, he wanted to unify his
empire. He realized that the message being
preached by Christians was kinda
divergent. He therefore called for
councils in which those scattered books
were compiled into The Bible. The
compilation process had other books being
left out in a quest to promote particular
interests.

When the missionaries came to Africa

they made us believe the Bible is The
Word of God. Yes of course, The Bible is
The Word of God but not The Only Word
of God. Those were books chosen to
promote the Jewish Culture while
promoting Constantine's political interests
and hiding some truth from the ordinary
people. Missionaries chose The Bible
because it was also in line with their

mission of pacifying Africans while they

take advantage of them.

They made us believe that they are

superior to us. The Bible hides it to us that
we are the cradle of mankind of which is
what they wanted. Only The Book Of
Enoch, which was omitted by Constantine,
his theologians and the Church fathers
when they compiled The Bible, has it clear
that the first man was a black person while
Noah was the first white person. Such
information does support African
superiority which they are in denial.

They saturated us with confusion and

made us believe that we were far from
God. They baptized us and occupied us
with what they made us believe as seeking
God while they were invading and looting
our territory. They exposed us to their

disunity amongst us.

They got successful in their mission.

African states are now divided. We have
lost hope in our Africanism. We now look
up to them for solutions to problems
which they created for us. They remain
relevant in our day to day business. We
now speak their languages. They made
us believe that staying in a country for
long makes you a citizen of that country.
We are now with them and have given
them citizenships. They now have rights
equally as ours and can now take control
of our resources. No matter how long you
visit, a visitor remains a visitor. Those
guys are not Africans at all. They have just

that does not qualify them to be Africans.

Truth has to be spoken but I am not saying
let‟s chase them away.

They continue making sure that Africa

does not catch up with their so called
standards of civilization. Africa remains a
source of raw materials to them and a
market for their substandard goods. Our
African economies shall always lag behind
theirs. This is what they enjoy.

Like the Libyan Gaddafi I think it‟s high

time we reunite Africa and stand as one
supercontinent. Let's revert back to our
original cultures and promote our original
way of governance instead of us being
continuously insulted by racists claiming
that there is leadership crisis in Africa to
such an extent that Africa needs to be
recolonized. We are struggling to fit into

the shoes which are not ours. Let America

elect their leaders the way they want while
we have ours coming from the fore
forefathers of our land. These must be at
the epicenter of our governance while the
elected ones are just there to support. Let's
be under the leadership of one continental
leader, position being rotatory amongst
member states. Power is to be
decentralized such that states will be under
the leadership of say a governor.

No more need for borders as barriers to

access between African countries. There
is no need for an African to have a
passport in order to travel to another
African state. Let us share our resources
and trade amongst ourselves. We are one
continent. We are one Africa. Let‟s have
the United States of Africa. Together we
can stand. We can help each other tackle
our problems. Let's do away with this

disunity and confusion. Let us be our

true selves not struggling to fit in to other
people's shoes. Let‟s be logical in
everything. Let‟s take things step by step
as we rise and rise. Let us not be
headmasters before we master our heads if
we are to gain full control of our
resources. Let us live fully according to
our cultures and societal norms. Let us
establish our own civilization conducive
for our development. Let‟s worship our
Creator our original way. Now is the time
we wave goodbye to poverty. When we
rise let‟s rise together. Let the world feel
the impact of our existence. I can't wait to
see the existence of The United States of
Africa. I can't wait to see The United
States of Africa emerging to be the biggest
superpower ever in the history of
mankind. Yes of course a lot of challenges
and obstacles can be encountered but the
harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.

Conclusion
I know that only a few will be bold
enough to square up to the reality. I am
most likely to suffer criticism, painfully
from the people of my nation. I shall be
called by all sorts of names. I shall be
judged and condemned by some. My book
shall be criticized by many. I shall be
called a racist and a tribalist of which I am
not. I am just an advocate of truth, peace
and justice. Christians shall judge and call
me evil. Only God knows why He allowed
me to come this far with such a school of
thought.

I have deliberately left out figures and

critical details especially on the
Gukurahundi issue which I just mentioned
in passing. The psychology behind this
book is to equip and enable Zimbabweans

and Africans at large to square up to the

brighter future ahead instead of pointing
fingers at each other while moving a
journey in circles. Figures and critical
details are imperative and provocative as
far as peace and reconciliation is
concerned. Notably, this is just a book, not
a research article so scholars must not
force it to meet their expectations. I
understand, psychologically molested with
our education system as they are, some
under different tittles of intellect will
spend much of their time trying to justify
some of the condemned practices of our
time instead of meditating thoroughly
upon the prescriptions of this book. It‟s up
to you. The truth has been written and
spoken. Those who are ready to be saved
shall change the way they think.

this situation. In their quest to persecute

justice, I might be victimized in quite a
number of ways. I am ready for anything,
even death. As long as I am navigating
within my intrapersonal mandate of being
the advocate of truth, peace and justice; I
fear nothing. As is the trend, they might
kill me violently but I will die peacefully.
They might kill me but the spirit of
Tryberforce shall never die. I will never
rest until I see my beloved Zimbabwe and
Africa as a whole, unite and fight against
poverty. I am Tryberforce, the greatest
force against poverty!
