KEY QUESTIONS:
How can ICT enhance or betray the conditions of value in teaching and
learning?
Where are we now? Where do we want to be? How will we get there?
Where do we begin?
The New Zealand Ministry of Education talks about learning about ICT, learning
with ICT, and learning through ICT, (Ministry of Education, 2003, p.8). It is the
latter, “the learning through ICT” that represents the Ministry “grail” for improving
learning experiences and outcomes.
It is this last that most fully realises the potential; of ICT and that this strategy
is designed to promote. (Ministry of Education, 2003, p.81).
