This issue re-imagines the ancient Greek story of Orpheus and Eurydice. In this version, Orpehus´ father is Morpheus

(The Sandman, Dream). As in the original story, Eurydice dies shortly after the wedding. Against the advice of his Aunt

Death, Uncle Destruction, and his own father, Orpheus descends into the underworld to rescue Eurydice, but this story

ends as tragically as the original legend.
