CPUT Libraries are looking for staff to work as After-Hours supervisors at their Athlone, Bellville, District
Six, Granger Bay, Media City, Mowbray, Tygerberg & Wellington branches from 3 February 2020 to 26
November 2020.
Candidates should indicate at which of these sites they are willing and able to serve (more than one may be
indicated).
After-Hours supervisors are responsible for the service from 16h00-22h00 (depending on the operational
times of the respective branches) for 2 to 3 nights of the week or more if required during the academic term
only. The closing times of each site may differ per site, and also during the course of the year. The positions
earnings are calculated on an hourly basis at R120 per hour. Monthly salaries are paid on the 25th day of
each month. The contracts will end by the latest on 26th of November 2020, and excludes University and
public holidays.
Note that these contracts may be terminated at any stage before November by the Director: CPUT Libraries,
and the after-hours times and appointments might change during the course of the year.
Fully qualified, non-retired and candidates entering the profession without work experience, are free to apply
