about SWAYAM scheme.
- (Lot in news + fulfiils the Key agenda of the
Government i.e. Housing for all)
- The Minister of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation
Shri Venkaiah Naidu today launched 352 housing

in affordable housing [This is important]
Organisation in focus = CREDAI

Under the new Metro Policy, TOD has been

Since Swacch Bharat is a Flagship scheme of the

Government.Any scheme related to it is very
important for prelims.

(Schemes say the objective of the scheme thus

hardly any chance the scheme could be asked)

[Proof of test] Andhra Pradesh Government has

resorted to Land Pooling for acquiring land for its
Amaravati Capital Project under which farmers have
given land in return for developed land parcels.
Gujarat and Haryana also used this tool for some
projects.

[What to look for in future] Ministry of Urban

Development is working to develop a comprehensive
VCF framework so that it can be used efficiently and
optimally across the country as a method of
financing infrastructure and enhancing the finances
of urban local bodies.
Schemes say the objective of the scheme thus
hardly any chance the scheme could be asked

HIV/AIDS Act has been passed recently. The key

provisions of HIV/AIDS Bill are prohibition of
discrimination, informed consent, non-disclosure of
HIV status, anti-retroviral therapy & opportunistic
infection management, protection of property of
affected children, safe working environment and
appointment of ombudsman in every State.
