• During the ‘80s Ravaglioli was selling 70% of its production

in Italy. The leading position, acquired during many years,
made it difficult to further develop the turnover.

• At that time the management decided to invest in developing

Ravaglioli presence abroad, firstly on European markets.

• It was clear that Europe would have become, in a short

time, a big “domestic” market with a big potential and
with stable development possibilities over the years.

• In this way, Ravaglioli anticipated border opening with an

expansion policy aimed at a certain number of key markets.

• In 2007 Ravaglioli exported 83% of its production,

as a proof that its development plans were correct.
