Healthy Sri Lanka - Happy Sri Lanka

The 11th edition of Sri Lanka's only healthcare exhibition,
‘Medicare 2020 – National Healthcare Exhibition’ is organized by the
Medicare Organizing Committee under the patronage of Ministry of
Health Sri Lanka in collaboration with specialist medical associations
which is scheduled to be held from 6th to 8th March at the Sirimavo
Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Hall (BMICH) in Colombo and
20th to 22nd March at Veerasingham Hall, Jaffna in the year 2020.

Medicare 2020 consists of five main pavilions such as, Health Endorsed by
Awareness Expo and Ayurveda Expo for Sri Lankan healthcare
providers (government and private) to make aware on cure and
prevention, Medical Tourism Expo to promote International Hospitals
and AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and
Homeopathy) among the Sri Lankans to travel abroad for treatments,
Medical Equipment Expo for international companies to meet local
agents, suppliers and relevant Government authorities to set up their
business in Sri Lanka and Medical Education Expo to promote higher
education opportunities available in healthcare sector for students Ministry of Health,

This milestone event will consist up to 230 local and
International stalls in the medical sector to showcase their product and
services, in order to educate more than 15,000 general public and
industry stake holders.

The theme of the National Healthcare Exhibition this year is “Healthy Sri Lanka - Happy Sri Lanka” The main
objective of the exhibitions edifying people on proper disease prevention methodologies, recent changes and
advances in health care sector, ultramodern healthcare technological advances of the country, effective
treatment methods, best services available in hospitals and medical laboratories and more valuable data on
healthcare.
Medicare 2020 is the ideal event to educate both the public and health related stakeholders to expand their
businesses. I take this opportunity to Invite International Medical Equipment and Pharmaceutical Companies,
Medical Tourism Organizations, Private Hospitals & Health Service Providers such as home nursing services,
ambulance services etc.
Adding further values to the event, the organizing committee is planning to recognize
the medical luminaries who have done a great service to the mankind.
