CONTRACT FOR THE SERVICES OF A CONSULTANT

CONTRACT TYPE: Consultancy (Part-time)

This contract is entered into by Creative Bee and Date:
Sampath KASIRAJAN, the latter herein referred to as 06/06/2018
the Consultant.
1. TERMS OF REFERENCE (TOR) OR WORK ASSIGNMENT:

1.1. Background: Creative Bee, while implementing an entrepreneurship pilot for UNDP's
Disha Project aims to form a group of 2000 women weavers four districts in the state
of Telangana to help them achieve direct market-linkage. In this regard, Creative
Bee seeks to employ the consultancy services of Mr. Kasirajan, to assist in the
overall planning and formation of the women weaver's entity/organization.

1.2. Description of Duties/Responsibilities: The following are the objectives/deliverables

put forth to the Consultant by Creative Bee. For the successful completion of this
contract, the Consultant shall, within the period agree upon:

1.2.1. Submit an implementation strategy and organizational structure.

1.2.2. Remotely devise/suggest a system for the fair distribution of profit throughout
the value-chain while ensuring financially progress and sustainability of the
organization as a whole.
1.2.3. Remotely propose checks and measures to mitigate corruption and
malpractices within the organization, and devise healthy practices to ensure
prolonged sustainability.
1.2.4. Remotely and locally provide advice and assistance in (but not limited to)
formation of the organizational structure (including SBUs and Marketing
Company), the most suitable business entity formation at each level of the
umbrella, statutory registrations required thereof, banking procedures, and all
other requirements for the formation of the entity, within the consultant's
scope of expertise.
1.2.5. Travel to Hyderabad to attend meetings to discuss the progress of the work
assignment, at decision-making junctures, or as and when it is mutually
deemed required (a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 visits).
1.2.6. Remotely advice on the development of an information system software to
manage procurement, production, inventory, supply, sales, payments, etc.
1.2.7. Remotely advice on the making of an SOP as constitution for future
reference.

1.3. Expected Outcomes and Timelines:

The successful completion of this contract shall rely upon the successful accomplishment of
these objectives by the consultant.

2. DURATION OF CONTRACT:

This contract shall commence on 08/Jun/2018, and shall expire on the satisfactory
completion of the services/objectives/deliverables described above, but not later than
01/Jan/2019, unless sooner terminated under the terms of this contract.
3. CONSIDERATION:

As full consideration for the services performed by the Contractor under the terms of this
Contract, Creative Bee shall pay the Contractor, upon ascertaining that the services have
been satisfactorily performed in accordance with the requirements of this Contract, as
follows:

A sum of Rs.1,50,000/- (One Lakh Fifty Thousand Rupees) in total, disbursed as

follows:

I 25% Upon submission of Implementation Strategy & Organizational Structure

Upon formulation and approval of an internal process model that ensures

Upon the formation of the entity (including formation of all SBUs &

Upon the successful fulfilment of all remaining responsibilities stated above

4. WORK LOCATION, TRAVEL, AND OTHER ACCOMODATION:

The Consultant shall perform the work assignment with reference to the Pilot's geographic
scope, which includes Telangana's districts of Yadadri, Nalgonda, Siddipet and Warangal.
The Consultant may or may not have to travel to Telangana during the course of this
contract, however, in case travel is required, Creative Bee shall bear all travel expenses
including flight tickets, hotel accommodation and food.
5. REPORTING:

At the end of the contract, the consultant shall provide a concise report of the work
assignment to Creative Bee. This report shall contain the process-map, an account of the
challenges faced, the changes made to the implementation plan along the way (and reasons
for the changes) and any other information the consultant deems essential.
