TITLE: BACK TO THE REAL INDONESIA

When we talk about culture, we will be very clever to mention the kind, we have learned
since we were a kinder garden, our teacher or maybe our parents have told us about many kinds of
Indonesian culture. We have learned traditional culture, uniform, song, and dance. And also
religion culture, Culture is part of our life, this is the character of a nation. Understanding culture
will be very beneficial not only for our life but also for this country. Bung Karno, in his Tri Sakti,
has emphasized the importance of cultured nation.

Even every region, every country have their own culture. With those many cultures, actually,
Indonesia must be a big country with big tolerance, a powerful country, and the richest country.
But now in a fact all the upside. Many discrimination, bullying, grieving each other, fighting each
other, how can it be.
The people began to forget their own culture they prefer to study western culture than their own
culture. The sadder is our teenager, the next generation slowly begin to leave local culture.

Not a modern culture that can rival traditional culture, but we do not give a high rate and maintain
our traditional culture. We assume that modern culture (western culture) is better than traditional
culture. That assumption is wrong because of modern culture, not all fit our culture. That thought
makes culture and traditional values are set aside so we said it's not able to rival. As well as
tolerance of differences tribe, race, religion, and customs also decrease. So it is not impossible if
one day we will lose our culture, this country will lose its character. Stop thinking about it, we
must change our mindset. We must realize that we cannot avoid them. The most important we
must think about is.

Culture is closely related to society to us we are the society. We need the participation of
the community in preserving our own culture, without having to close themselves to the outside
culture. Let’s start from ourselves in addition to external threats, so we must develop our attitude:

 Attitudes of tolerance (mutual respect) and not concerned with the interests of groups,
groups, races or ethnicity. Everything is thought out for the common good.
 Attitudes to enforce the law for all citizens, regardless of the position and interests of a
particular group.
 The attitude of nationalism, namely the love of the homeland.
 Social awareness is the attitude of help in the life of society.
Let’s back to our culture, let’s unite as a people of Indonesia, let’s keep our culture, and let’s be a
great country with full of peace, love, united and respect.
