A HY-TECH PROFILE
Hy-tech Engineers Pvt. Ltd., is today a nationwide leader

in the manufacture of Hydraulic fittings, catering to
almost all leading Machine Tools Manufacturers, Automobile
Industries and Steel Plants. Founded in 1978, by a team of
dedicated technocrats, it has always grown in leaps and bounds,
and has won the esteem of all the customers. In attaining this
goal, the Company’s objectives of meeting the customers’
increasing expectations for Quality, Delivery and Value,
were never compromised.
The Company has always tried to keep pace with

the latest technological developments. It has, very recently
introduced the progressive ferrules, besides adding the SPM for
drilling, reaming and burnishing the taper seats. The Company
has over 1500 catalogue items, besides the other product range
of Shut off Valves, Needles Valves, Minimess Couplings, direct
acting relief valves, reducing connections, standpipe adaptors,
welding nipple, pipe clamps and SAE split flanges.
The Company, also manufactures Hydraulic Cylinders

and High Pressure Hydraulic Hoses under the brand name
Fasto Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Thane. The Company has
set up a co-ordinated and efficient distributor network
all over the country.

NOMENCLATURE
Hy-Tech fittings are made in these two series to accommodate all type of service requirements and system charac-
teristics and are produced to DIN standard 2353.
Series L : For compressed air, hydraulic return lines, propane, fuel heating, automotive industry, small type refrigerat-
ing equipment device, construction, plastic piping, etc.
Series S : For heavy-duty machinery, ship building, mining, chemical industry, large capacity refrigeration plants,
compressed air lines, etc.

Hy-Tech also manufactures non-standard fittings, not covered in this catalogue as per customers specification, on
request.
MATERIALS :
Hy-Tech fittings, found in this catalogue are standard in carbon steel. They are also available in stainless steel and
brass.Consult Hy-Tech for price & availability. Straight fittings are manufactured from drawn bars and others are all
forged.
SURFACE FINISH :
Tube fittings of carbon steel :
Series L & S : Body & nuts, progressive ferrules are zinc passivated and weld on nipple are phosphated and oiled.
For deviation consult Hy-Tech.
PRESSURES :
The pressure ratings for Hy-Tech fittings are found in each fitting chart under the title ‘Series & Pressure Rating’.
The pressure ratings are given in Bar, and can be converted to psi by multiplying by 14.4.
Generally, the pressure stated in the catalogue are nominal pressures for steel fittings with a safety factor of at least
4. These figures may be used as the maximum working pressures under normal working conditions and temperature
to 130°C. For higher temperatures, shock pressuers and high mechanical stress (vibrations, etc.) we recommend
series S.

the area of the bearing is spotfaced and at right angles to the axis of the threads.
If you use a washer to form ‘A’ as per DIN 7603 made of copper or aluminium, counter-boring
