Vision of the Department

To be in the forefront in providing value added quality technical education and research in Electronics
& Communication Engineering to produce highly competent, skilled professionals to cater to the
challenges of the society and get global recognition.

Mission of the Department

1. To impart quality education in emerging fields to strengthen students to meet the industry standards
and face confidently the challenges in the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

2. To develop the essence of innovation and research among students and faculty by providing
infrastructure and a conducive environment.

3. To facilitate the students with profound technical knowledge through effective teaching learning
process for a successful career.

4. To inculcate the student community with high ethical values, leadership qualities, entrepreneurial
skills and lifelong learning to meet the societal needs.
 Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
1. To provide students with a sound knowledge in the fundamentals of Electronics & Communication
Engineering courses and prepare them to be competitive with the advances in technology on global
basis.

2. To provide the practical training with necessary theoretical background for students that will
provide students an enthusiastic learning skill to engage in research in Electronics &
Communication Engineering and multidisciplinary field.

3. To apply appropriate techniques, skills and modern tools for the design and analysis in the field of
Electronics and Communication.

4. To foster the students with a broader knowledge on usage of Basic science and Mathematics,
environmental issues, health concern, constitutional &ethical principles and lifelong learning
needed for successful value based career and pursuing higher education.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

At the end of the B.E Electronics & Communication Engineering program, students are expected to
have developed the following program specific outcomes

PSO1: Specify, design, build and test analog, digital and embedded systems for signal processing

PSO2: Understand and architect wired and wireless analog and digital communication systems as per
specifications and determine their performance.

PSO3:Todemonstrate the ability to design and develop system in semiconductor field using modern
tools.
