Many congratulations for completing your classes for LCSP.

Here is the examination guidelines which will help you to understand the entire process of
examination.

LCSP Exam consists of 5 machines in a network hosted on virtual environment. Duration of the
exam will be 8 hours.(Usually Starting from 10:00AM to 6:00PM)

The goal of the entire exam is to get root access of all 5 machines to pass the exam successfully.

Steps to fulfill the examination requirements:

Before starting your exam you must know that your exam consists of three main stages. First stage is
when you do the VA of machines like exploring ports in a system to look for vulnerabilities or finding
directories in web application. While doing the same make sure you take minimum 2 screen shot of VA
process, which is required in later stage while drafting the report.

In Second phase you must add minimum 2 screenshots of PT , like method which leads you to gain
access the machine and also reach to root level. These screenshots will again be used in report by
explaining the process using which you exploited the machine.

After getting root access make sure you take screenshot of ipconfig or ifconfig command output to let us
know that you have compromised the right machine by matching the IP address for the same.
LCSP EXAM GUIDELINES

Every Machine Carries two types of text files.

- low.txt : Files containing hash value when system is under user’s permissions

- high.txt: File containing hash value when system is at root level

You have to obtain all these files available in machines given and take screenshots for the same along
with hash values Which you have to mention in the end of the report in a table format like below.

Steps to fulfill the examination requirements:

Make sure you should not use any paid or free tool like sqlmap, nexpose, netsparker, nessus, acunetix ,
burp pro or tools fall in same category. Using of any of these tools will lead students to Zero marks
directly.

While using any exploit from public domain except from metasploit, make sure you share the source link
of exploit code from where you have taken the code. Also in case if you have done any modification in the
code you have to mention that too in the report.

You have to submit the entire report within 12 Hours after the exam ends on email address which will be
shared with you before the exam.

Results will be given to student with in 72 hours after submitting the report. Students who will fail to
submit the report will be give Zero Marks overall.

There will be 5 points for students who has 100% attendance in classes and have not taken holiday in the
entire duration of training program.
