ASSESSMENT
Reflective: It is a formative process through
which students can experience assessment as a
part of learning, rather than as a separate
evaluative process. This makes it easier—and
less time consuming—to conduct the assessment
compared with giving a quiz or some other add-on
activity. The Reflective Assessment Technique is
comprised of four steps for the teacher: anticipate,
review, reflect, and adjust.
Diagnostic: This assessment is used to collect
data on what students already know about the
topic. Diagnostic assessments are sets of written
questions (multiple choice or short answer) that
assess a learner’s current knowledge base or
current views on a topic/issue to be studied in the
course. The goal is to get a snapshot of where
students currently stand - intellectually,
emotionally or ideologically - allowing the
instructor to make sound instructional choices as
to how to teach the new course content and what
teaching approach to use.
Flexible: Flexible assessment is assessment that
involves some kind of choice on the part on the
student. Flexible assessment is not exible
delivery; they are independent of each other. In
fact, many exile delivery sub jects are very in
exible in terms of assessment.
EVALUATION
Prescriptive: The prescriptive model is viewed as
having its roots in both replica and exemplar
thinking. It might be viewed as a model in which
guides are set down in advance which direct what
follows. Four essential strategies of this model,
which are clarified by illustrations, are to select
the objective, to define the objective, to use the
defined objective to prescribe materials and
procedures for instruction or development, and to
use the defined objective to prescribe evaluation.
Judgmental: A judgmental evaluation technique
is typically used when assessing job performance
in an area that's difficult to measure. For example,
if a manager is evaluating the job performance of
a sales associate, he can use concrete sales figures
to gauge whether goals and objectives are being
met. A judgmental approach, however, is
necessary when evaluating positions with
intangible measurements. For example, creative
endeavors such as art production or music writing
are difficult to measure in numbers and require a
subjective methodology.
Fixed: These criticisms of the evaluation might
not have been raised if the data had not challenged
basic assumptions about the course. It may not be
worthwhile carrying out anything more than
routine monitoring if there is little chance of
responding to evidence suggesting fundamental
change. On the other hand, it may not be

Absolute: This Status-dependent strategy
represent one of the most remarkable adaptive
phenotypic plasticities. A threshold value for
individual status (e.g., body size) is assumed
above and below which everyone should adopt
alternative tactics to attain higher fitness. This
implicitly assumes the existence of an "absolute"
best threshold value, so everyone chooses a tactic
only based on its own status. However, animals
may be able to assess their status based on
surrounding individuals.
Cooperative: Can be categorized as either
formative or summative, both of which are
appropriate for cooperative learning exercises as
they provide opportunities to enhance key
components of cooperative learning exercises
such as positive interdependence and individual
accountability (which is one of the five key
elements of cooperative learning).

Comparative: comparative evaluation research
has to fulfil requirements set to both comparative
research and evaluation research. However, my
aim is not to give long, separate quotations from
the methodological literature of evaluation and
comparison, but rather to try to combine these two
approaches to the abstract cross-twine. They are
as follows:
Competitive: is a critical part of your company
marketing plan. With this evaluation, you can
establish what makes your product or service
unique--and therefore what attributes you play up
in order to attract your target market.
