#604 Shagadelic 1 ball (A)
• LION BRAND® WOOL-EASE® THICK & QUICK®(Art. #635)
#178 Cilantro 1 ball (B)
• LION BRAND® crochet hook size Q-19 (15 mm)
• LION BRAND® large-eyed blunt needle

GAUGE
EXACT GAUGE IS NOT ESSENTIAL TO THIS PROJECT.

NOTES
1. Bag is crocheted in one piece, beginning at the base.
2. Straps are worked separately, then sewn to the Bag.
3. If you’d like to keep the yarn contained as you work, slip the ball into a zippered
plastic bag. Zip the bag closed, leaving an opening for the strand of yarn.

BASE
With B, ch 4. Join with a sl st to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 2, work 6 hdc in the center of ring, join with a sl st in beg ch-2 sp – you’ll
have 6 sts.
Rnd 2: Ch 2, work 2 hdc in each st around, join with a sl st in beg ch-2 – 12 sts.
Rnd 3: Ch 2, *hdc in next st, work 2 hdc in next st; rep from * around, join with a sl st in
beg ch-2 – 18 sts.
Rnd 4: Ch 2, *hdc in next 2 sts, work 2 hdc in next st; rep from * around, join with a sl st
in beg ch-2 – 24 sts.
Fasten off B.

Join A with a sl st in any st of Rnd 4.

Next Rnd: With A, sc in each st around.

Repeat last rn until piece measures about 7 1/2 in. (19 cm), or until you run out of yarn.

Fasten off.
