3.0 Agenda Items

3.1 The Mayor and City Council shall review items on the Regular City Council meeting agenda for
December 7, 2010.

3.2 The Mayor and City Council shall hear reports on meeting and/or conferences attended by Council.

3.3 The Mayor and Council shall hear a presentation by Thomas McDonald of Gammage & Burnham
regarding the North Santa Cruz Wash project and a potential Development Agreement pertaining to the
construction and maintenance of that project.

3.4 The Mayor and City Council shall hear and discuss a presentation by Assistant to the City Manager
Nicole Dailey regarding proposed amendments to the Council Strategic Plan.

3.5 The Mayor and City Council shall discuss amending the City Code, Chapter 10, Section 10-1-6
“Explosives” by allowing the use of consumer fireworks and regulating their use.

The Mayor and City Council may discuss the following items that may be on a future Council
agenda

There are no future council agenda items for discussion scheduled.

4.0 Executive Session

4.1 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for purpose of obtaining legal advice from the
City’s attorney and to consider its position and instruct representatives regarding negotiations for the
purchase, sale or lease of real property pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) and (A)(7).

4.2 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for purpose of obtaining legal advice and
discussion or consultation with the City Attorney to consider its position and instruct its attorney
regarding the public body’s position regarding an interim City Manager, pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03
(A)(3).

4.3 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for the purpose of consultation with its
attorneys and to consider its position regarding a proposed Development Agreement with M.C. Ranch,
LLC pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03 (A)(4).

4.4 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for the purpose of consultation with its
attorneys and to consider its position regarding a proposed Development and Settlement Agreement
with Meritage Homes of Arizona, Inc. and Metro Red-1, LLC pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(4).
