Sunburn Festival is India’s top-ranking electronic dance music festival. This is Asia’s largest
three-day music festival. The festival is a combination of food, music, entertainment, and
shopping and was ranked by Cable News Network (CNN) as one of the top ten festivals in the
world. This was started in the year 2007. The Crew includes DJ Snake, Martin Garrix, Like
Miken etc.,
Their journey from 2007:
Sunburn Goa 2007: The first International Dance Music Festival in Goa was organized by
Nikhil Chinapa and it was sponsored by Smirnoff which is a brand of vodka. This special music
event was entertained 28th December onwards till 29th December at Candolim Beach Goa. The
very first Festival has awesome performances from Carl Cox, DJ Pearl, etc.,
Sunburn Goa 2008: The second International Dance Music Event was held regardless of the
2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks which took place exactly a month prior to the festival. Sunburn
Goa 2008 was very excited this year because they tied with the Defected Rocks and it was
surprisingly they named the Music event with “Electric Circus”. The Event was conducted
parallel on two important stages: “Banyan Tree” for entertaining Trance acts and second stage
was “Circus Stage” for Fabulous House music. This Music event was continued for 3 days
starting from 27th December to end of 29th December. This year famous Branded corporations
excited to sponser the Sunborn Goa 2008 are like The title fund Kingfisher, The Force India,
Carlsberg.
Sunburn Goa 2009: This year it shouted the peak because more than 22,000 fans were
participated in Sunburn Goa 2009 which sounds very crazy. This time due to hike of Popularity
Rohit and Nikhil were sponsored for Sunburn Goa 2009. On basis of previous years’ experience
or expectations of a guest Sunburn decided to add more enjoyment for guests by adding Thai leg
masseurs and adventurous rock climbing wall. Sunburn Goa 2009 decided to tie up with UK
based Clubbing Gatecrashers.
Sunburn Goa 2010: This year music festival was sponsored by Premium Beverage Company
Tuborg. This event was started on 27th December to 29th December at Goa Candolim sand beach.
This year the awesome artists are involved in this music event they were Ferry Corsten, Paul Van
Dyk, along with Ned Shepard along Nadia Ali (Live performance), DJ Pearl, Anish Sood, and
Ma Faiza. And also fashion show was conducted on post 27 December at famous Club Butter.
Sunburn Goa 2011: This year Sunburn Goa 2011 was started on 27th December and continued
till 29th December at Candolim Beach. The crew included like Axwell, Spartaque and Above &
Beyond, Infected Mushroom.
Sunburn Goa 2012: This year Stars include like Paul Van Dyk, W & W, BT, Fedde Le Grand,
Roger Sanchez, Sander Doom. This Music event was conducted at Candolim beach Goa starting
from 27th December to 29th December.
Sunburn Goa 2013: This year Sunburn at Goa took place in different location that is Vagator.
Many famous artists around 120 and over up of 200 hours of Music was played. The crew DJ’s
were Ummet Ozcan, Afrojack, Axwell, Pete Tong.
Sunburn Goa 2014: This year Sunburn Goa 2014 took place in same has past place that is
Vagator starting from 27th December to 30th December and this is the very first time that music
event was extended for an almost extra day and was performed by famous among World number
2 Dj then Dimitri Vegas also with Like Mike and enjoyed around 150 DJ’s. Sunburn was
reached peak level by famous stars perform Party, Sander van Doorn, Sasha, Krewella, Baauer,
Danny Avila, Head Hunterz, Paul Oakenfold, Matthew Koma, MAKJ, Michael and Tarzan
Woods performed at the festival.
Sunburn Goa 2015: The 9th edition is another 4-day music event at Vagator, Goa. Sunburn
Goa’s international blazing partner, Viagogo, announced that the music festival has become one
of the huge international music festivals in Asia on November 20, 2015, with people from more
than 42 countries purchase tickets on the Viagogo platform. This year’s stars’ lineup will be
equally lavish with over 120 artists like Sam Feldt, KYGO, Seth Troxler, Dimitri Vegas & Like
Mike, Martin Garrix, DJ SMITH, Kshmr, David Guetta, Dyro, Felix Jaehn, Zaeden, and Art
branch taking the stage.
Sunburn Goa 2016: For 2016’s highest celebration, Sunburn Festival comes to the city of Pune,
with a Phase one headliner announcement including Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Axwell &
Ingrosso, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, and KSHMR, plus approximately 50 acts supporting.
Sunburn Goa 2017: Sunburn festival’s second decade started with a bang. The headliner
announcement included Martin Garrix, Afrojack, DJ Snake, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Clean
Bandit, KSHMR, Kayzo, Infected Mushroom and 90 plus supporting acts.
Sunburn Goa 2018: An exhilarating memorable experience in the city of Pune. The entertainer
announcement included the top artists like Axwell Ingrosso, Armin van Buuren, DJ Snake, and
Alan Walker.
Sunburn Goa 2019: Sunburn 2019 is back in Goa once again to make you recall the time of
your life. The Sunburn Festival is popular for its amazing music and commendable artist line-up,
this year showcasing DJ Snake, The Chain smokers, Flume, and Martin Garrix, who are here to
