To work with the company is an experience in itself. The free environment and
culture existing in the company help a new comer to adjust very easily and to
perform to his capabilities. The timings are flexible and working is for deadline
compliance.
Doing my summer internship at KSA, I got the opportunity to get a first hand
experience on a lot of live projects, through informal chat got insights into how
the consultancy work is being carried out and the operational process of KSA.
I had my project on “Health Outlook 2002”, which was a qualitative study
undertaken by KSA to map the supply side scenario of Healthcare facilities in
India.
Healthcare as a focus area has been undertaken recently by KSA in India. They
have been into healthcare consultancy in US and are established as one of the
largest consultancies in that category. The Indian healthcare market is emerging
on the same lines as prevalent in US. Thus with an established presence in US
and with their learning’s in the particular area, KSA-Technopak has the
necessary platform built for an ideal launch in this category.
Two major events that are undertaken by KSA-Technoapk on a yearly basis are
the Retail Summit and the Consumer Outlook study. Consumer Outlook is
basically a data collection study, which helps to determine the consumer trends
and preference, their buying behavior and the opportunities available in the
current scenario. Retail Summit is a 3-day event where industry experts and KSA
consultants from around the world participate and share their knowledge and
experience through Discussions, Presentations and informal talks.

Presently Retail has been one of the key areas into which KSA is developing into
India. They have a through understanding of the Indian Consumer psyche,
through the “Consumer Outlook” study undertaken every year. This is a nation
wide study, undertaken on an yearly basis, and is the backbone for the vital
information KSA has about the Indian consumers buying and spending behavior.
“Retail Summit” was another initiative undertaken by KSA in order to establish
itself as the leaders into the field of Retail Consultancy into India.
The present focus is towards the entry into the field of Healthcare Consultancy. In
oreder to take a feel of the market and to get itself acquainted with the finer
details of healthcare, they initiated a study “Health Outlook 2002”. This study will
form the foundation for the entry of KSA-Technopak into the healthcare segment
in India.
