Expected Outcomes: Students are able to use discriminate which connector to use in the given
situation by completing the guide (filling the blacks)
Resources: Study guide prepared by on connectors (but, so because, and, and or).

Introduction 5 min Greetings.


Students are introduced the activity to be done
and emphasize is put on the fact that it will be part
of their final evaluation
Core of the class
Pre-stage 10 min Students are explained why we use those
connectors (because, and, or, so, and but)
Students are given the study guide
While-stage 20 min Students start answering the study guide.
Students start with the first part (fill in the gaps)
Students start with the second part (join the
sentences)

Post-Stage 5 min Students’ answers are corrected


Students have to give back the hand out

Closing 5 min A conclusion is made regarding the use of


connectors.
