As a Mechanical engineering Students, having a vision in yourself is a good way

to motivate and encourage you to the things you want or to be someday. Having a vision
in yourself is not easy if you don’t know the path that you are crossing. There were times
that you want to be something but it you are not good at it and also you are good at
something but you don’t want or you don’t have the motivation to do it. When I was a
child, I didn’t know what I want to be someday because there were many choices that I
can chose like doctor, engineering, teacher etc. Then, when I chose engineering, there
were still different choices like Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical. Until I came
up to choose Mechanical Engineering. I know that I have a vision to be in Mechanical
Engineering but still Mechanical Engineering is a very wide field.

As I am here in this path, I should have the knowledge on what can happen along
the way. Hearing different views and experiences of different Mechanical Engineer is a
good way to prepare myself and make a good decision. It is not a decision like this
reaction paper that I can do overnight because there are things that you should prioritize.
Through the help of the insights of the Mechanical Engineer that we interviewed, it can
guide me to this journey and I should discern every decision I have to make. Every field
is a not easy because there are always problems that you can encounter just like the
interviews told in the video. I am glad that we have this opportunity to ask them different
question on the field that they chose because it is a great help for us to have glimpse on
what we can encounter and experience in the future.

Honestly, still don’t know what field should I choose and if I have one, I don’t have
the knowledge about that field. I watched the different interviews that was very informative
and inspirational. I learned different things like what I need, what I should have and what
I should expect for. I learned that I need a good communication skill because it is also
about dealing with different people. I should have a long patience because sometimes I
will work under pressure. I should expect for the worst thing that can happen because it
is a complicated job or field. One of the engineer told that practice not makes you perfect
but practice makes improvement because even if we are good there is still a room for
improvement for all of us. As a watched the video, I feel the excitement and the pressure
because in my mind I have the idea that someday I can be one of them that maturely
enough to face the life and journey I have. I can see that they are happy and satisfied in
the things that they are doing even though it is not easy because it is part of the process.
