it's the same now. Most people I knew went to Oxford, because it seemed more of an easy bridge.

HOT RAMADHAN NIGHT (Lost Paradise of Dilmun): “I have heard the mermaids singing,
each to each.” - T. S. Eliot

I want warm summer nights, to lie in a hammock, staring at the stars, telling you stories. I want
to dip my toes in the water, to dangle my feet off the edge of the dock and sit leaning forward,
looking at you, laughing till our stomachs hurt, that’s the summer I’ve always dreamt about.

Bikinis, towels, soaking in the sun, oceans, beaches, just having fun, meeting cute boys, out after
dark, swimming at the pool, and hanging out at the park. Summer 2013, let it begin.

reason it will always have meaning for the future, because of all it can teach about disaster, survival, and
redemption. It is all there in the streets. It is all there in the books.”

“In a public dialogue with Salman in London he [Edward Said] had once described the Palestinian plight

It's brilliant, you can't ever get bored of London cos even if you live here for like a hundred and fifty
years you still won't ever know everything about it. There's always something new. Like, you're walking

“This was London, in all its filth and glory. Nostalgic for the past, while yearning to cast off the chains of
bygone ages and step forward into the bright utopia of the future. Proud of its achievements, yet
despising its own flaws. A monster in both size and nature, that would consume the unwary and spit
them out again, in forms unrecognizable and undreamt.

London, the monster city.”

― Marie Brennan, With Fate Conspire

“Live your life in any way, London says. It encourages defiance. I loved what it gave me, who it allowed
me to be. On the nights I could afford a minicab home, I rolled down the window while crossing the river
and watched the lights on the water, knowing most late-night minicabbers were reaffirming their love of
London with the same view. I loved its messiness, its attempts at order. I loved the anonymity it
afforded;”

All sorts of myths surround the Mathematical Bridge, which some say was built by Sir Isaac Newton, who
designed it to stand without nuts and bolts. In truth, the wooden footbridge was designed by William
Etheridge and built by James Essex in 1749. It got its name from the way the timbers are arranged on
tangents, known as tangent-and-radial trussing. This design allows the bridge to support itself. It’s all
pretty genius — but would we expect anything less in a town that’s home to some of the smartest people in
the world?

The River Cam runs through the famous university town of Cambridge, known as much for its renowned
scholars as it is for its picturesque scenery along the water. As such, Cambridge, despite its small size, still
boasts 23 bridges, many of which have unique stories attached to them. While the Bridge of Sighs, named
after the one in Venice, is perhaps Cambridge’s most famous, the Mathematical Bridge might be the most
legendary.

Ramadan
Is like a rare flower
That blossoms once a year
And just as you begin to smell its fragrance
It disappears for another year
Make the most of it now
While you still have the chance
For the harvesting season is here
And it won’t last
The last 10 days
Have approached so fast
And as the days wizz past
How do our deeds fare
Put your heart in action
And your limbs in gear
Multiply your deeds
So your rewards be dear

[2:183] O you who believe, fasting is decreed for you, as it was decreed for those
before you, that you may attain salvation.

HOT RAMADHAN NIGHT (Lost Paradise of Dilmun): “Like all duties in Submission,
fasting was decreed through Abraham.” – Qur’an, 2:183-187

(22:78).

Prior to revelation of the Quran, sexual intercourse was prohibited throughout the
fasting period. This rule is modified in 2:187 to allow intercourse during the nights
of Ramadan.

[2:184] Specific days (are designated for fasting); if one is ill or traveling, an equal
number of other days may be substituted. Those who can fast, but with great
difficulty, may substitute feeding one poor person for each day of breaking the fast.
If one volunteers (more righteous works), it is better. But fasting is the best for
you, if you only knew.

[2:185] Ramadan is the month during which the Quran was revealed, providing
guidance for the people, clear teachings, and the statute book. Those of you who
witness this month shall fast therein.

Those who are ill or traveling may substitute the same number of other days. GOD
wishes for you convenience, not hardship, that you may fulfill your obligations, and
to glorify GOD for guiding you, and to express your appreciation.

RAMADHAN KAREEM: “When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I
answer their prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and
believe in Me, in order to be guided.” – Qur’an, 2:186

[2:187] Permitted for you is sexual intercourse with your wives during the nights of
fasting. They are the keepers of your secrets, and you are the keepers of their
secrets.

GOD knew that you used to betray your souls, and He has redeemed you, and has
pardoned you. Henceforth, you may have intercourse with them, seeking what GOD
has permitted for you.

HOT RAMADHAN NIGHT (Lost Paradise of Dilmun): “You may eat and drink until
the white thread of light becomes distinguishable from the dark thread of night at
dawn. Then, you shall fast until sunset.” – Qur’an, 2:187

Sexual intercourse is prohibited if you decide to retreat to the Masjid (during the
last ten days of Ramadan). These are GOD's laws; you shall not transgress
them.

GOD thus clarifies His revelations for the people, that they may attain salvation.
RAMADHAN KAREEM: “Permitted for you is sexual intercourse with your wives
during the nights of fasting. They are the keepers of your secrets, and you are the
keepers of their secrets.” – “Qur’an, 2:87

The Prophet said: “Whoever prays during the night of Qadr with faith and hoping for its
reward will have all of his previous sins forgiven.” (Bukhari and Muslim recorded from
Abu Huraira).

The whole Night of Power, from sunset to dawn, is the holiest night of the year. It is believed that there
are groups of special angels who are only seen on the Night of Power. These angels perform special
purposes. Some come down for worship, others for granting the request of the believing Muslim. Other
angels come down bringing with them proclamations of the coming year.

You should not see the desert simply as some faraway place of little rain. There are many forms of
thirst.

William Langewiesche
I have to say, if someone literally said to me, 'You're going off to a desert island, what is the one
thing you would bring?' I would say, 'It's my concealer or you can just kill me now.' I've thought this

Be grateful for the clouds that sometimes cover the sun; they, too, have a reason to be there. When
they move, the sun shines once more.

Look beyond the storms. Look beyond the dark clouds. Be like an eagle and fly. See how high you can
soar and cross oceans beyond all storms.

When you pray, let your prayers be forms of gratitude. Let your prayers be an ocean of love. You do not
have to beg Me to give you My Kingdom. I will hear you before you even call.

Give of what you desire to have more of it in your life. You desire to have love, give love away. You
desire greater prosperity, share your wealth. Let your gratitude be felt everywhere. Let the words you
speak be “thank you’s” for what you are and all that you have.

Challenges are doors to change. Do not be afraid of change. If a caterpillar were afraid of change, it
would never turn into a butterfly.

Sometime you may not understand why this must be traveled, why things must go this or that way. But
then when you trust the One Power in the Universe, you begin to discover the blessings in disguise.

A problem is an indication that change is occurring. That change is a door to progress; and progress
means moving toward betterment.

Accept the challenges in your life with serenity, with peace, knowing that it will be a change for the best,
though you may not see it at the moment. Like the seeds planted on the ground, your good is about to
come forth.

There are people in your life you have to allow to move on. Bless them and thank them for having
touched your life. There are those who may have hurt you, but then you have grown from your
experiences with them. You have grown in your capacity to understand, forgive, and love.

Choose to move in the right direction and all things will begin to unfold accordingly. Everything in your
life comes from a choice.

Choose to be a loving a person and you will be surrounded by people who care for you genuinely, who
are concerned and make you feel that your presence matters. They will all appear with your choice that
this is a friendly, loving Universe where success is offered to you on a silver platter, where every
opportunity matches your talents.

This is a friendly and loving Universe. Choose to have it all.

Allow others to live their lives as they allow you to live yours. For each one, including you, is traveling in
his own path and seeing his own horizon.

You make life better for others by desiring for them the good that you desire for yourself. As they
prosper, so do you beyond your ardent desires. For within you lies the whole Power of the Universe.

Make friends with everything in your life. Make friends with your fears; resist them not. Ask what those
fears are trying to let you know. Make friends with your problems for they, too, are bringing you a
blessing. Oftentimes you resist, condemn, a nd evencurse them. The message then gets lost and so the
blessing in disguise remains a disguise.

WINTER 2016: Late nights, Bonfire, Barbecue, Black coffee,Hoodies

Then if you go

Ill understand

Leave me just enough love

To hold in my hand

If you go away
As I know you must
There'll be nothing left
In this world to trust

Just an empty room

Full of empty space
Like the empty look
I see on your face

After you go, I can catch up on my reading

After you go, I'll have lot more time for sleeping
And when you're gone, it looks like thing's gonna be lot easier
Life will be a breeze you know
I really should be glad. – Michael Johnson

But I'm bluer than blue
Sadder than sad

“Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” – Roald Dahl

I am here to tell you that the magic you once believed in is true, and it’s the disillusioned adult
perspective of life that is false. The magic of life is real – and it’s as real as you are.

Gratitude is portable – you take it with you wherever you go, and then wherever you go, the
magic happens!

Desiderata (Latin: "desired things") is a 1927 prose poem by American writer Max Ehrmann.

Max Ehrmann

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,

and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;

it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,

gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,

no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,

whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,

it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

If I could live in a cabaret, I would. If I could live in 'Moulin Rouge,' I would. Rita Ora

Usually I like playing other people. I like finding myself through other characters. But when you do
cabaret, you are yourself. I think it's the most fun, and I tell you, if somebody had told me that, I
would have done it fifteen years earlier than I did. Faith Prince

I would totally, if Alan Cumming is tired of doing Cabaret, I'd be like, 'I'll do it tonight.' I would have

“I know I'm really lucky to do what I do, but sometimes with the hours and the travelling, I don't get to
see my family and friends as much as I'd like. It can be lonely on the road. Sometimes I come

can be an anti-climax.” - Olly Murs

If I could reach you

You know I would

Miles away
You're so many miles away from me
And I can't find you
All those miles (away)

If I could hold time

In the palm of my hand
I'd not let it through

I'd save it for you

If I had one wish

At my command
I'd want it to be
You wishing for me

When did summer go so quickly

As the images unwind, like the circles that you find in

The windmills of your mind!

I had missed you

Health, wealth, love and success have to be balance. One’s spirituality depends on how balanced these
areas are. How can one enjoy his wealth when most of the time he is sick? A truly spiritual person is a
happy, healthy, wealthy, successful and a loving one. If theirs is one missing, there is a problem with
one’s spiritual nature.

Summer is like the ultimate one-night stand...hot as hell, totally thrilling, and gone before

Having fun in the sun, getting laid in the shade, summer's here...

#mother’s day

Live long and prosper. . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Live in abundance. . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Love and light. . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Silver gray hair neatly combed in place.

There were four generations of love on her face.
She was so wise, no surprise passed her eyes
She'd seen it all.
I was a child, oh, about three or four.
All day I'd ask questions.
At night I'd ask more.
But whenever; she never, would ever, turn me away.
I'd say how can I be sure what is right or wrong?
And why does what I want always take so long?
Please tell me where does God live
And why won't He talk to me?
I'd say, Grandma what is love?
Will I ever find out?
Why are we so poor, what is life about?
I wanna know the answers before I fall off to sleep.
Slowly she rocked, lookin' half asleep.
Grandma yawned as she stretched.
Then she started to speak.
What she told me, would mold me, and hold me
Together inside.
She said all the things you ask
You will know someday.
But you have got to live in a patient way.
God put us here by fate
And by fate that means better days.
She said, child we are all moons in the dark of night.
Ain't no morning gonna come 'til the time is right.
Can't get to better days lest you make it through the night.
You gotta make it through the night, yes you do.

Later that year at

The turn of spring
Heaven sent angels down
And gave Grandma her wings
Now, she's flyin'
And slidin', and glidin'
In better days
And although
I'm all grown up
I still get confused
I stumble through the dark
Getting bumped and bruised
When night gets in my way
I could still hear
My Grandma say
I can hear her say
