1.0 GENERAL

1.1 SCOPE OF SPECIFICATION

A. This specification addresses the manufacturing, testing, and installation of sound


systems, in addition to the technical standards necessary to fulfill the requirements of
MARAFIQ.

B. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to
complete the work.

C. Where works interface with Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) and Ministry
of Public Work and Housing (MPW), the equipment, materials, and installation shall
comply with STC and MPW standards latest revision, and shall be reviewed and
approved by the both STC and MPW.

1.2 SPECIFICATION INCLUDES

A. This specification includes typical sound systems in public buildings, assembly halls,
and mosques. It also includes music systems, paging systems, intercoms,
loudspeakers, and microphones.

1.4 REFERENCES

A. The referred codes and standards are intended to provide an acceptable level of
quality for materials and products. In case of conflict between these standards and
the text of this specification, the specification text shall govern.

B. The latest revision of the referred codes and standards shall be used wherever
applicable. In case of conflict, the Contractor shall propose equipment conforming to
one group of codes and standards.

1.5 DEFINITIONS

A. audio amplifier or pre-amplifier: Electronic equipment that increases the current


or voltage, or both, potential of an audio signal intended for use by another piece of
audio equipment.

B. loudspeaker: Equipment that converts an AC electric signal into an acoustic signal.

C. intercom system: A voice communication system linking different rooms within a


building or other facilities.

D. paging: Calling out the name of a person (especially by a loudspeaker system).

E. public address system: An electronic amplification system used as a


communication system in public areas.

1.6 SUBMITTALS

A. The Contractor shall submit to MARAFIQ the following items for review and
approval before commencing Work:

1. Detailed dimensioned Shop Drawings.


2. Manufacturer’s data sheets indicating the necessary installation dimensions,
weights and materials.
3. Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
4. Factory test reports.
5. Certificate of compliance stating that the materials used conforms to all
requirements of this specifications.
6. A list of manufacturers of all items indicated for under this specification.
7. Copies of catalogs of all equipment to be furnished.
8. Manufacturers suggested list of 2 years spare parts.
9. Quality program as specified by MARAFIQ.

B. After installation and commissioning of the equipment, the Contractor shall submit
the following:

1. As-built drawings of complete system.

2. All test results and commissioning reports showing all tests specified have been
performed and all requirements have been met.

3. Field test report.

1.7 QUALITY CONTROL

A. The Contractor shall be responsible for the quality of work and shall develop and
propose programs, methods of construction, and testing such that the specified
quality meets the approval of MARAFIQ and its specifications.

1.8 HEALTH AND SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

A. All works undertaken in relation to this specification are to be completed in full


accordance with the respective health and safety requirements established by the
following:

1. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

a. Legislation, Regulation, Standards and Codes.

2. Royal Commission Regulations

b. Standards, Contractual Conditions, and Health and Safety Systems.

3. Contractor

c. Health and Safety Standards and Systems as accepted by MARAFIQ.

B. In the absence of any of the above, best accepted industry practice shall be employed
throughout.

1.9 SERVICE CONDITIONS

A. All the equipment/materials installed indoor shall be suitable for continuous


operation under the following service conditions:

1. Ambient Air Temperature


a. A maximum of 40°C.
b. A minimum of 0°C.
c. Average temperature, measured over a period of 1 month, is a maximum of
35°C.
2. Relative Humidity (Average Value)
a. For a period of 24 hours, does not exceed 95%.
b. For a period of 1 month, does not exceed 90%.

B. All the equipment/materials installed outdoor shall be suitable for continuous


operation under the following service conditions:

1. Ambient Air Temperature


a. A maximum of 50°C.
b. A minimum of 0°C.
c. Average temperature, measured over a period of 1 month, is a maximum of
45°C.
2. Altitude is less than 1000 m, unless a higher altitude is specified in Contract
Drawings.

3. Average Value of the Relative Humidity


a. For a period of 24 hours, does not exceed 95%.
b. For a period of 1 month, does not exceed 90%.
c. Relative humidity may be temporarily 100%
C. Speakers intended for outdoor use shall be fully weather proof and corrosion
resistant. Whilst the equipment (with the exception of the outdoor speakers) will
normally operate in an air conditioned environment, it shall be capable of operating
for a minimum of 2 hours without benefit of air conditioning. No fans shall be used
for equipment cooling as a standard application.

1.10 FACTORY TESTING

A. All the equipment/material shall be tested at factory. The Contractor shall notify
MARAFIQ in writing not less than 30 days prior to the scheduled starting date of the
factory tests.

B. MARAFIQ reserves the right of deputing their representative for witnessing the
factory test.

C. Upon completion of factory test, and before shipment of the equipment/material, the
Contractor shall submit 5 certified copies of test reports not later than 10 days after
the completion of all factory tests for the review and approval of MARAFIQ.

D. On arrival at site, the equipment/material shall be checked for operational and


dimensional requirements.

1.11 COORDINATION

A. The Contractor shall be held responsible for the proper coordination of all phases of
the work under this Contract.

B. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to coordinate the work and equipment
as specified herein with work to be performed and equipment to be furnished under
other requirements of the MARAFIQ specifications in order to assure a complete and
satisfactory installation.

1.12 DELIVERY, HANDLING AND STORAGE

A. The Contractor shall deliver, handle and store equipment and material units in
accordance with MARAFIQ specifications, as well as the following requirements:

1. Ensure equipment and materials are delivered to site originally packed, securely
wrapped, and labeled by manufacturer in unopened containers. Protection of
materials during delivery shall be as directed by the manufacturer.

2. Store materials at building site strictly according to manufacturer’s instruction.

3. Avoid damage or distortion of the materials during handling and shipment or


transportation.

4. Be responsible for damages of equipment and materials occurring during


transportation or storage of the product.

5. Fill in all required forms regarding MARAFIQ’s quality requirements.


2.0 PRODUCTS

2.1 GENERAL

A. All goods and products covered by these specifications shall be procured, when
available, from an in-Kingdom manufacturer. Procurement of all goods and products
manufactured out-of-Kingdom must be approved by MARAFIQ.

B. All materials for subterranean use shall suffer no deterioration from corrosive
elements found in the ground. Those materials used above ground shall suffer no
deterioration from constant exposure to direct sunlight.

C. All sound system equipment switches shall be labeled in Arabic and English. Any
warning and/or instruction labels for maintenance and service personnel on the sound
system equipment shall also be in Arabic and English.

D. The public address system for offices shall be designed for transmission of general
announcements, emergency alarms, and music.

E. The system may consist of a single integrated amplifier with microphones and
loudspeakers using 100 V technology, or multi-microphone stations with separate
mixer preamplifier, main amplifiers, octave equalizers, and independently controlled
loudspeaker lines depending upon the size of the installation.

F. Public address systems for Mosques shall be designed for voice only.

G. The Contractor shall supply all necessary cabling, shielded cabling and other
miscellaneous items to provide a complete working system. All cables shall be
correctly dressed and terminated.

2.2 DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

A. The equipment shall be designed to prevent ingress of all vermin and accidental
contact with live parts.

B. All racks, frames, and circuit boards should be clearly labeled in English and Arabic
to show their function. In the case of circuit boards, the labels, wherever possible,
shall be fixed to the front of the circuit boards and should be clearly visible when the
boards are installed in the racks.

C. Any and all boards containing static sensitive components are to carry a label clearly
visible on the front of the board identifying this fact.

D. A copy of the circuit board label should be attached to the rack to indicate the
position of the circuit board in the rack. Rack or circuit board labels shall either be
screwed of firmly stuck to the equipment.

E. Each component on every circuit board shall be clearly and indelibly labeled with the
appropriate code to enable technicians working on the equipment to refer to related
operation and maintenance manuals and diagrams.

F. Whenever possible, the components should be solid state type. All components
should be mounted on printed circuit boards.

2.3 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

A. Typical Sound System in Public Buildings

1. A typical sound system shall consist of a power amplifier, pre-amplifier (if


required), microphones, and speakers of direction horn type, wall or ceiling
mounted speakers as appropriate.

2. The system shall permit selective paging enabling page announcements to be


transmitted to different areas within the overall service area.

3. It shall be possible to distribute sound from a cassette, CD or DVD player or


AM/FM broadcast radio receiver as specified in contract documentation.

4. The various inputs from the sound signal sources shall be combined and
conditioned through a pre-amplifier. This sound shall be interrupted during
speech announcements.

5. The Contractor shall provide equipment enabling all or selected announcements


to be prefixed with a chime, single or sequence, contained within the main
equipment.

6. The Contractor shall supply equipment providing a facility for broadcasting fire
alarm signals and similar warnings to all areas through the system from the main
control station.

B. Typical Sound System in Assembly Hall

1. A typical assembly hall system shall consist of a power amplifier, loudspeakers,


cassette tape player, AM/FM broadcast band radio receiver and microphones as
specified in contract documentation.

2. Frequency response shall be 20 to 20 kHz ± 2dB when operating from the FM


receiver or cassette player and 300 to 4 kHz ± 2dB when operating from the AM
receiver.

3. The various inputs from the sound signal sources shall be combined and
conditioned through a pre-amplifier.

4. The amplifier shall provide sufficient power to the loudspeaker systems to


produce 85 dB ± 5 dB at 1.25 m above floor level throughout the service area.

C. Typical Sound System in Mosques

1. System shall consist of a power amplifier, stand and desk type microphones and
speakers of a suitable type and location as specified in contract documentation.

2. The power amplifiers shall supply outputs for main and auxiliary speakers to be
remotely switchable to minaret speakers and prayer hall and court yard speakers.

3. To avoid damage to the amplifier circuit components, the switching action shall
ensure that the new configuration is connected before the old one is
disconnected.

4. The prayer hall loudspeakers shall be driven with sufficient power to provide a
signal level of 80 dB ± 5 dB at 1.25 m above floor level throughout the hall. The
court yard loudspeakers shall also be driven with sufficient power to provide a
signal level of 85 dB ± 5 dB at 1.25 m above floor level throughout the court
yard.

5. Three microphones are recommended to be used inside the mosques, as


described below:

a. One microphone and stand within the Menbar, if present, adjustable to face
height.

6. Prayer calls over the main minaret speakers shall be possible from the
microphones in the main prayer area.

7. All microphones to be fitted with on/off switches and fitted with switches to
remotely control the configuration of the system’s loud speakers.

8. A three position switch, with illuminated indicators, will be required with the
functions detailed below:

a. Switch Position 1

 The minaret speakers only are connected to the amplifier output.

b. Switch Position 2

 The building internal speakers and court yard speakers are connected to
the amplifier output.

c. Switch Position 3

 The minaret, internal and courtyard speakers are connected to the


amplifier and amplifier output.

9. “Speaker Select” switch shall only be active when the microphone switch is
“ON.” The microphone should be switched to the “OFF” position after use.

10. The three microphones are to be combined through a passive combiner and the
composite signal will be fed to one input channel on the amplifier. All input
leads to the pre-amplifier (when used) shall be shielded and grounded.

11. The cable lengths within the main prayer hall shall be such that the internal high
and low level microphones at the Mihrab can be positioned on any of the first
three prayer lines.

12. The Contractor shall supply and fit microphones sockets and sockets for the
speaker control cable for the prayer hall microphones on the wall immediately
adjacent to the amplifier cabinet. All microphone sockets shall present a
correctly terminated condition when not in use.

13. The Contractor shall supply a microphone socket, speaker control cable socket
and associated cables to allow Ramadan prayers to be conducted in the court
yard. The microphone socket shall present a correctly terminated condition when
not in use.

14. Level controls, when required, for the speakers within the main prayer hall and
the court yard shall be contained within the same enclosure as the amplifier
together with the passive combiner.

15. The power source for all the amplifiers is to be 127 V AC, 60 Hz. An
illuminated AC power switch is to be provided for power control of the amplifier
on the door of the cabinet.

16. The equipment cabinet shall be lockable and should be as close as practically
possible to the Menbar.

17. All equipment shall be connected to the amplifier chassis ground point and this
shall be single-point grounded to the building ground.

D. Typical Sound System in Friday Mosques

1. Friday mosques shall be equipped with all the equipment as specified above.
2. Additionally, Friday mosques shall incorporate a simultaneous translation
system. This shall consist of a separate microphone, low powered amplifier 50
headset outlets and 50 headsets as specified by MARAFIQ and detailed in
contract documentation.
3. These shall permit a one-channel simultaneous translation system to enable the
service content to be translated in a different language and distributed via the
microphone to the wall mounted headsets.

E. Music System

1. The music system shall consist of a power amplifier and AM/FM radio tuner
with cassette tape player, a record player, a microphone and wall-mounted
speaker assemblies.

2. All sound equipment shall be suitable for rack mounting. The rack shall be floor
mounted and grounded where shown in contract documentation.

F. Paging System

1. The paging system shall consist of a power amplifier suitable for desk mounting,
a desk type microphone and speakers of directional horn type, located as shown
in contract documentation.

2. Announcements shall be possible to originate either locally or from up to two


remote locations.

3. The system shall permit the automatic isolation of the remaining remote
microphone locations as soon as one of the microphone stations is activated.

4. The remote microphone station shall be activated by a push-button action


requiring simultaneous depression with the press-to-talk microphone. This
ensures that the particular remote control microphone station shall be only
energized during the announcement and immediately afterwards returns to
normal.

2.4 MATERIALS

A. Public Address and Paging Systems

a. The amplifiers shall have the following main features:


 Frequency response 20 Hz to 20 kHz ± 2 dB or better.
 Maximum distortion 100 Hz to 16 kHz - 0.25 %.
 Signal to noise ratio 45 dB or better.
b. Balanced 70/100 V outputs shall be available at a screw terminal strip.
c. The equipment shall have protection circuits to protect the amplifiers from
damage under all normal and abnormal operating conditions.

2. Control Preamplifiers

a. Control Preamplifiers shall be supplied by the Contractor to accept such


inputs as may be required under the terms of the Contract. All inputs shall
be preferably of 600 Ω balanced or 50 MΩ single ended configurations.
b. There shall be at least one spare input in addition to the inputs required by
the Contract Drawings.
c. Control Preamplifiers shall be equipped with mixable inputs, convertible for
various sources with supplementary modules and adapter kits. Remote
control priority switching for each input and separate controls for treble and
bass shall be provided.
d. The output from the pre-amplifier shall be at a level compatible with the
input requirements of the main power amplifier.
e. All inputs to the pre-amplifier shall be shielded and grounded cables.

3. Low Powered Amplifier (Friday Mosques Only)

a. The amplifier provided shall consist of the pre-amplifier and power


amplifier in a single assembly, the frequency response shall be as specified.
b. The input signal shall be balanced as specified.
c. The amplifier shall be equipped with tone control facilities to tailor the
audio response to suit the input signals and the required performance
detailed in this specification.

4. Tone Signal Generator

a. This unit shall generate various signals, i.e. fire alarm, air raid warning, air
raid imminent, and all clear, etc. according to requirements of the Civil
Defense Bureau.
b. External warnings may be initiated from Civil Defense Bureau installations
through dedicated CIT links.
c. Automatic release through systems such as fire alarm and burglar detection
and manual release must be possible.

5. Loudspeakers

a. Performance of loudspeakers shall be no less than that specified in IEC


60581-7.
b. Wall Speakers
 These speakers shall be provided with a resonating board and an
aluminum grille for universal application for flush or surface mounted
enclosures.
 The speaker shall be a high performance type and shall be provided
with an autotransformer with taps for 1/4, 1/2, or 1/1 of output capacity.
 The unit shall incorporate a volume control. Frequency response shall
be ± 2 dB from 60 Hz to 16 kHz.

6. Ceiling Speakers

a. These speakers, including their accessories, shall be designed for recess


installation in various suspended ceiling types.
b. The grille shall be aluminum. The speaker itself shall be the same type as
wall mounted loudspeakers.

7. Column Speakers

a. These speakers shall be for interior, or in weatherproof design, for exterior


installation. The enclosure shall be of aluminum and shall be for wall or

b. A transformer with taps for 1/4, 1/2 or 1/1 capacity shall be built in.
Frequency response shall be at least ± 2 dB from 150 Hz to 15 kHz.

8. Horn Speakers

a. These speakers shall be for exterior installation in weatherproof design. The


enclosure shall be of impact resistant plastic with swivel brackets.
b. The built in autotransformer shall have taps for 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 1/1 of
output capacity. The frequency response shall be within ±2 dB from 200 Hz
to 10 kHz.

9. Microphones

a. Microphones shall be selected for the special usage. They shall have a super
reinform characteristic, and shall be equipped with an adjustment device for
5 step tone characteristics, and a presence switch.
b. The frequency response shall be between 30 Hz and 20 kHz and the
feedback damping shall be approximately 20 dB at 130°.

c. Connection cables and supports shall be provided to suit the special usage.
d. All microphones shall be provided with desk mount or floor mount as
suitable for application.

10. Passive Combiner

a. The passive combiner shall consist of a resistive network to combine the


outputs from the microphones and enable the connection of all three
microphones to a single preamplifier channel.

11. Headsets

a. The headsets shall be of robust design and incorporate lightweight


components and level control.
b. The frequency response shall be 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
c. The headsets shall conform to IEC 60268-7.

12. AM/FM Radio Tuner

a. The AM/FM radio tuner shall be in one compact unit and shall be
completely solid state and tune the FM broadcast band from 88 to 108 MHz
and 540 kHz to 1.62 MHz (medium wave) when receiving AM.
b. Front panel controls shall include a tuning control and local monitor level
control.
c. Output shall be compatible with the associated preamplifier.
d. The sensitivity shall be 2 mV or better for 20 dB quieting. Image rejection
shall be grater than 75 dB.

13. Cassette Tape/CD/DVD Player

a. The cassette tape/CD/DVD player shall play standard cassettes, CD or


DVD.
b. Push-button controls shall include CASSETTE/CD/DVD, Stop/Eject, Play,
REW (Rewind) and FF (Fast Forward).
c. The player shall be fitted with a selectable automatic reverse feature at the
end of the tape.

B. Intercom System

1. Duplex Intercom System

a. Duplex intercom systems consist of a central exchange, intercom master


stations and intercom substations. The system shall provide hand-free
operation and fully electronic solid-state control of speech communications
inside the building where both parties in a conversation shall be able to
communicate without having to operate controls.
b. Master stations shall be able to originate calls to, and receive calls from, any
other master stations and designated substations.
c. The group call capability shall allow master stations to call designated
groups of master stations or substations.
d. A flashing LED light in the station shall indicate an occupied line. Each
station shall be equipped with microprocessor for the control of
communication and signaling between the stations.

2. Simplex Intercom System

a. Microcomputer-controlled simplex intercom systems, including master


stations and substations shall have manual control of speech direction.
b. The system shall allow only one call at a time.
c. Simplex stations shall be connected to the cable network by means of a wall
socket or a connecting block.
d. Each simplex system shall have its own power supply.

3. Door Intercom System

a. Door answering systems shall consist of one or more entrance stations and
one or more apartment stations. The system may also include an electric
door opening system.
b. Door intercom systems can be a press-to-talk system allowing speech
between the door station and any house or apartment main station, or a
duplex system allowing both speech between the door station and a house
station and communication between house stations.
c. Voice Only Door Station
i. The door station box shall be made of galvanized sheet steel and shall
be provided with rubber gasket to assure weatherproof attachment of
the cover plate.
ii. The metal front plate shall include illuminated nameplates and
pushbuttons, an indicating lamp for “ready to communicate” and a
push-button for switching on the entrance illumination.

iii. The integrated loudspeaker and microphone shall be designed for


tropical conditions and shall be frost and weather protected.
d. Video/Audio Door Station
i. It is the same as voice only door station with addition of a camera.
ii. Camera shall be fitted with pan and tilt mechanism if required by
Project Documents.
iii. The installation shall include a separate luminary with independently
power supply and control, but interlocked with the call push button to
light for a set time when the button is pressed.

4. Master Station

a. The master station shall be desk type and shall be capable of calling any
station in the system and receiving calls from all stations.
b. The master station shall have the following minimum features:
i. On-off switch for turning the system on and off.
ii. LED light to show whether the system is on of off. This will appear on
the master and slave stations.
iii. Two volume controls to separately regulate the listening and talking
volume.
iv. The master station shall operate from 127 V, single phase, 60 Hz power
supply.
v. Telephone type handset for communication.
vi. Ability to call one handset at a time and selectively a number of
handsets.
vii. Ability to talk to one speaker at a time and simultaneously to any
number of speakers.
viii. The master station shall have a visual and audio indicator to show when
any telephone handset is calling.
ix. Input jacks shall be provided, which will accept inputs from a cassette
tape player and FM-AM radio.
x. The intercom master station shall accept inputs from the programmer of
the master clock system.
xi. The amplifier of the system shall be integrally housed in the master
station console.
5. Telephone handset
a. Telephone handsets shall be wall mounted and be capable of accepting calls
from the master stations and making calls to the master station.

b. The case and handset shall be molded high impact plastic.

C. Music System

1. Audio systems for installation in areas such as lounges in accommodation for


government officials and guest houses shall be high quality and integrated
systems, i.e. all units supplied shall be from the same manufacturer.

2. The pre-amplifier have separate inputs for CD player, cassette deck, radio tuner,
Video and auxiliaries.

3. Signal to noise levels shall be better than 65 dB and the frequency response
within ± 1 dB from 10 Hz to 25 kHz. Total harmonic distortion better than 0.1%.

4. The music and audio systems in lecture halls and theatres shall be optimized so
that all areas shall have similar sound levels and clarity.

5. Where multiple audio units are supplied it is the Contractor responsibility to


ensure that all equipment is correctly matched.

3.0 EXECUTION

3.1 GENERAL

A. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating the installation and activation of the
distribution system to ensure that a complete and fully operational public address,
paging, intercom and music systems are available for immediate use once a facility is
complete.

B. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any required permits.

C. All equipment used to transport and place the cable shall be subject to MARAFIQ
approval.

D. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing operating and supervisory


personnel with adequate knowledge and experience. All work shall be done in a
workmanlike manner by competent personnel under the supervision of personnel
who have prior experience in the placing of wires and cables including fiber optic
cables.

E. A set of working drawings shall also be at the site at all times during the works. All
work shall be subject to acceptance by MARAFIQ. Deviations from the Contract
Drawings and specifications shall not be permitted, except upon prior written
permission of MARAFIQ.

F. Installation of conductor cables shall comply with MARAFIQ specifications MQ-SP-


T-7806 and MQ-SP-T-7811.

3.2 INSTALLATION

A. Installation of public address, paging, intercom, music systems and cable,


conduit/fitting, wiring devices and termination of this equipment shall be as per the
Contract Drawings and NEC Articles 210 and 300.

B. The installation of all audio signal processing, amplification and reproduction


equipment shall also be as per NEC Article 640.

C. All systems installation and activation work shall be performed according to the
latest manufacturing technology and MARAFIQ rules and regulation.

D. Cables shall be installed in PVC conduit or shall be direct buried, cables exposed to
sunrays are not allowed.

E. Wiring system shall be installed only when the raceways system has been completed.
The inside of all conduits shall be thoroughly clean of any dirt, moisture or other
foreign material before pulling wire and cable.

F. No splices or joints shall be used in low voltage feeders or branch circuits except at
accessible splices or junction boxes or outlet boxes.

G. Routing of cable and raceway shall be as per Contract Drawings, termination of


cable shall be according to the manufacturer recommendations and as indicated in
contract documentation.

H. Grounding system shall be installed/connected to equipment and other related


accessories where required, and these grounding connections shall be implemented in
accordance with the Contract Drawings and NEC Article 250.

I. Install cable identification tag on each cable at panel board gutters indicating the
branch circuit, feeder number, panel board number or as indicated in contract
documentation, and these tags shall be installed in easily visible and readable from
front access.

3.3 TESTING AND COMMISSIONING

A. General

1. The Contractor shall carry out all site tests in accordance with approved test
procedures to ensure that the equipment and related accessories comply with this
Specification and operational requirements. All tests are subject to witnessing by
MARAFIQ representative.

2. At least 4 weeks prior to schedule tests, the Contractor shall submit to


MARAFIQ an outline of the plan and procedures to be used in performing the
site inspection and site tests. This shall include a brief description of the test
equipment, reference drawings, proposed tests and procedure, test sheets,
calculations, reference drawings and minimum/maximum test and performance
values in conformance with the specification and acceptability of the equipment
and acceptability of the installation.

3. Upon completion of installation and prior to final acceptance, each component of


each system shall be tested to the complete satisfaction of MARAFIQ. The
Contractor shall provide all test instrumentation, equipment and accessories
necessary for demonstration and putting the equipment into operation before
commissioning.

4. Upon completion of all testing, the Contractor shall submit 5 copies of certified
reports attesting that each test has been performed in accordance with the
approved test procedures. The report for each test shall include the name of the
person in-charge of the test and the date of performance. All factory and field
test reports shall be included in Operation and Maintenance Manual.

5. Care shall be taken that the test apparatus does not damage the equipment or
other related accessories during the testing.
