Temenos Banking Reference Processes

Introduction
Temenos Banking Reference Process Repository is a collection of end to end reference processes related
to Banking domain and it represents the accumulated industry knowledge gained by Temenos with the
client engagements/implementation and it covers the wide range of banking domains as Retail/Corporate/
Private Banking as well as common cross-banking process such as Customer, CRM, Transaction,
Treasury, Islamic and channel products.
It represents not generic but aligned business processes down to the individual roles, screens, outputs and
workflows/functionalities which are available in the respective Model Bank.
Benefits of these processes are:
1. Leverages out banking know-how and industry experience
2. Understand business from a business and IT prospective
3. Compare with “As-is” process to identify the potentiation changes and related benefits
Temenos banking reference processes are updated using the Architecture for Integrated Information
Systems (ARIS) tool. ARIS uses a modelling language known as event-driven process chains (EPC).

Details of Processes
Banking Reference Processes are updated based on the changes to Core Banking.
R18 TEMENOS Banking Reference Processes is a repository of 894 standard banking processes.
These processes represent the Model Bank support and functionalities to deliver banking services for
various customer segments.

How to access the Pack

Temenos Banking Reference Processes pack contains the Reference Processes in 2 formats
 HTML package
 Database package
End user can download the pack and extract the same using a RAR Extractor (7 zip or any compatible
rar/zip extractor) to ‘D’ or ‘E’ directory

Download the pack to a folder

Extract the pack downloaded using a RAR Extractor

(7 zip or any compatible rar/zip extractor)

HTML Package
A HTML dump of all the processes in the Temenos Banking Processes repository is available in the pack
extracted.

HTML option is for Read Only view and is best viewed in Internet Explorer
End user can extract the same using a RAR Extractor (7 zip or any compatible rar/zip extractor) and use
the Index html to navigate the processes.

Click on “index.htm” in the extracted folder to launch homepage

Banking Reference Database Package

Pre-requisite for this option is “ARIS Business Architect”, a licensed software to be installed (R18
Processes are built using ARIS Business Architect version 7.2)
Go to http://www2.softwareag.com for more information on the ARIS software
The Database Package in the pack can be deployed in a server configured in ARIS or in a local folder in
ARIS as per the details below.
