Industry Reference Materials (IRM) are standard compounding ingredients 

used to achieve better agreement with standard ASTM recipes and inter­
laboratory test comparisons.  Also, certain IRMs are used to compare inter­
laboratory results for rubber processability tests.  Here is a list of IRMs
