ADJUSTABLE TOOLING SYSTEM

Adjustable Pressure Box

Constructed from aircraft aluminum, this superior
pressure box will withstand the rigors of long term use
and is capable of pressure forming parts over 4.5” high.
The pressure box adjusts by simply repositioning the
movable front panel and will accommodate mold index
lengths in 1” increments.
Standard features include: a pressure relief valve and
gauge that measures forming pressure.Threaded
stainless steel helicoil inserts insure free running
fastener holes.Two 1” ports provide maximum form air
for fast crisp forming. A water cooled rear panel
prevents the migration of heat from the oven. Both
front and rear panels have sheet clamp grooves to
grip the sheet.The pressure seal is made with our
“H” style silicone cord which provides a double seal
between the sheet and pressure box.
Adjustable Pressure Boxes are manufactured in 3
standard sizes (see chart below). Other sizes are
available. We also engineer and manufacture
custom, adjustable pressure boxes to suit

Thermoforming is about heat. Getting heat in and out of the plastic
as fast as possible is the primary objective. Segen’s Rapid Cycle
Mold Heat Sink Compound is specially formulated for
thermoforming. The silicon based zinc oxide compound, when
applied between the mold and cooling plate, will dramatically
increase the thermal transfer rate. The molds will cool faster, shots
per minute will increase and so will your profits.

The product is packaged in 14.5 oz. tubes for convenient
application with applicator gun.
