Served as an Assistant Design Engineer in the design department of power
plant chimneys.
• Performed the dynamic analysis of reinforced concrete chimneys along
with the steel flues inside it using STAAD Pro. software.
• Modeled & analyzed steel structural arrangement of the platform to
support the steel flues on concrete shell using software STAAD Pro.
software.
• Conducted Finite Element analysis of heavily loaded structure using
NISA software.
• Structural design of the various steel structures used in chimneys like
support arrangement for steel flue, restraint arrangement (controlling
the horizontal movement of flue) & stair case, satisfying the technical
specifications of Structural Codes.
• Computed programming on VB macro in Microsoft Excel to fetch the
results of analysis from the output files of software & perform the
design check calculations for the fetched analytical results.
• Designed elastomeric bearings transferring a large amount of load,
considering technical aspects given in the codes.
• Designed welded connections and bolted connections for various kinds
of forces acting on it.

the openings given in the concrete shell.

(DECEMBER 2009 – JUNE 2010) – Was suffering from the disease “Abdominal
Cox”. Hence, had a bed rest upto Jan 2010. Thereafter, went to Singapore for
job search.Tried to apply in some reputed MNC’s but didn’t got a call for an
interview from them. Hence, came back to India and joined the Company.

platform of VB.Net where bridge substructure (i.e. well foundation &
pile foundation) was analyzed for calculated loads & moments and
complete design of bridge substructure was done.

during the post-graduation course work, which was completed
within the duration of one month. As the title suggest, the RCC
building located in India was analyzed using Response Spectra
Method (i.e. dynamic analysis) using Staad Pro software & the
structural design was performed on software using Indian code
IS:456.
