Course Objectives:
1. To learn the characteristics of basic electronic devices such as Diode, BJT,FET, SCR
2. To understand the working of RL,RC and RLC circuits
3. To gain hands on experience in Superposition, Reciprocity, Thevenin, Norton’s theorems, KCL and KVL.
4. To set up and perform experiments on clippers and clampers
Pre-requisites: Basic Circuital laws, network theorems and Devices Characteristics.
Syllabus:
Experiment 1: Verification of Ohm’s and Kirchoff’s laws.

Experiment 2: Verification of Superposition and Reciprocity theorems.

Experiment 3: Verification of Thevenin’s, Norton’s and Maximum Power transfer theorems.

Experiment 4: Determination of Resonant frequency for Series and Parallel RLC Circuits.

Experiment 5: Transient analysis of RL and RC circuits.

Experiment 6: Characteristics of PN Junction & Zener diodes.

Experiment 7: BJT as an Amplifier and Switch.

Experiment 8: Input and Output Characteristics of Common Emitter & Common Base configured BJT.

Experiment 9: Characteristics of FET and SCR.

Experiment 10: Clipper and Clamper Circuits.
