The site

majority of Penrhos Works was developed
between 1968 and 1970 for the commercial
production of aluminium. The site extends to an
area of approximately 74.53 hectares (184.16
acres) and is developed with a complex of
production, workshop, storage, administrative
and ancillary buildings with a gross internal floor
area of approximately 114,781 sqm (1,235,500
sqft). The main vehicular access is taken from
London Road (A5) on the northern boundary of
the site.
