Third Sunday of Advent
Pastor’s Corner ~
On this Third Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Joy,
we also celebrate the FEAST OF OUR LADY OF
GUADALUPE, the Blessed Virgin who appeared in
Mexico, with the message not only of conversion and
penance, but also of the protection of life. She is truly
the Patroness of Pro-lifers and the Patroness of the
Americas. May She constantly intercede for all of us.
We are grateful for our generous men in the parish
who saved us thousands of dollars by giving their time
and labor to finish the restrooms of the Ministry Center
and lately the restrooms of the Parish Hall. God knows
who these people are and I am certain that their
reward will be hundredfold. This encourages all
parishioners to share their time and talent and treasure
to the parish. Once again, we remind ourselves that
the Church is our common responsibility.
Matthew 25 Tree
We invite all parishioners to participate in the
Matthew 25 giving tree. For years we have
been offering help to Fr. John Tasto’s mission
school in Tijuana. If you would like to help this
Christmas season, please take an envelope
from the tree and return with your gift in the
form of cash or check (payable to Matthew 25),
through the collection basket or drop off at the
rectory. Your gift is greatly appreciated!
School Christmas Program
The students and staff of St. Columba School would like
to invite all parishioners to a special Christmas program
in the church on Friday, December 17th at 9:30 a.m.

Our GRATITUDE also goes to all who serve the parish

and have enjoyed the Appreciation Brunch last Cub Scout Bake Sale
Sunday. The brunch may never be enough to thank all
of you, but remember that God sees all your goodness Next Sunday, December 19th
and He never misses to look into your generosity.

Christmas Day Masses BIBLE SHARING (Sunday by Sunday): Monday mornings,

(No 5:30 pm Mass) BINGO: Every Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at

The St. Columba Youth Group is involved in an ongoing
service project that helps men, women and children DIVINE MERCY DEVOTION: Join us Mondays and Fridays at
