God's commandment "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands

pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good
works" (I Timothy 2:8-10)
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto god, which is your reasonable

renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God."

which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and
their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you,

44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and
to give his life a ransom for many.

imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
