YEAR 2008
 These days, all news talk about them; new
robot dog, new robot is sending to Mars by
NASA, robots are playing the football and etc.
Well, what is the robot which we said? Let’s see
it…

Many years ago, humans think something

that was helpful. Before Christ, in 800,
Homeros
talked about some mechanic things which can
do everything what you need or what you say.
He described the robot with three legs, long arms. In 13century, Ebüilzel-
Cezeri who is Arab, wrote a book about robots. In that book, he tells how we are
going to wash the dishes by mechanism and in his imagion there was a woman
who is robot, washing the dishes.

If we can focus on the meaning

of, “robot”, we can see Karel Capek
who is Czech game writer. She took
“robota” which mean urgent
occupational and took “ robotnic”
which mean worker. And she made
up “Robotic”. Also, Isac Asimov wrote
three law which call “Asimov
Laws”. In the future, if we don’t want to
“Terminatör”, we must be careful at
these points:

• Robots don’t attack someone and it doesn’t promise

that.
• Robots will do anything without first law
• Robots secure yourself without first and second
laws
 Ok, when robots take their
ambitions? Are printers or kitchen-
robots robots? First of all, if we are
saying robot, there must be an
im pression ( it’ll be color, light, shape
or coordinate). After that, robots will
use these datas for their reaction
and exposition. Finally, it can
move and work properly. In short,
robot have three mother part;

• Receptior for take data about the environment

• Brain for think
• Moving parts for move and work

At present, many robots

used in industry because of
sensition which is necessary for
dangerous works. On the other
hand, they are working fast and
correct. In this positive sides,
universities and technology
companies are racing. They
organize some competition to
find super robot. Also robots
always use under the water and
in the volcanoes because people can not reach there in safe ways. Otherwise
mini-robots can enter the hole where people can not enter.

NASA always use robots for

their search programme. In 2007,
NASA sent one of the famous
robots which called Pathfinder. It is
very clever. NASA’s second aim is
to send worker robots for set up a
new station.
 ROBOCUP is one of the tournament for robots.
In this tournament robots are playing football.
Tournament target is to organize football matches
between robots and worldcup champion-team in
2050.

Robot like a human

Japanese made a robot which

called “ Repliee R-1 ”.
It is like a child who is 5 years old.

Robot have sensual

The South Korean scientists made

a robot which can dance, doing
houseworks and have senses.
And it can move its lips eyes
and eye lashes. While it is walking,
it can be happy or sad or excited.
