Printing an image file with PRINT Image Matching

An image with PRINT Image Matching imported with the PRINT Image
Matching Plug-in is based on the "EPSON RGB 2001" color space. This color
space supports the inherent color quality of PRINT Image Matching.

Please follow the following procedure in order to print an image with the
inherent quality of PRINT Image Matching preserved:

1. For windows, you must install media profile data.

Please refer to http://www.PrintImageMatching.com for getting
media profile data.

2. Select File - Print with Preview... from the Photoshop menu.

3. Check Show More Options in the Print dialog box.

4. Select Color Management in the top list box.

5. Select "Document: EPSON RGB 2001" under Source Space.

6. Select appropriate media profile data under Print Space.

7. Click the Print... button at the upper right hand corner of the Print
dialog box.
8. Select the desired EPSON printer.

9. Select "No Color Adjustment" for the printer driver setting.

10. Change the other driver settings as you wish.

11. Start printing.

Note:
❏ To gain the proper PRINT Image Matching print quality, using a PRINT
Image Matching enabled printer is recommended.

❏ The print quality through ColorSync/ICM color management depends on the

printer characteristics and the precision of the ICC profile for printer or media.
Therefore, even if you follow the instructions on this manual, it does not mean
you can gain the proper PRINT Image Matching print quality with any of
the printers.
