Sanjeevani Life Beyond Cancer is positively committed to

fulfil its mission of having a cancer-free society. During our

grass-root level endeavours in rural as well as urban settings,
we come across women who fall prey to various women-
related cancers due to lack of awareness regarding them.
Thus, on the eve of International Women's Day, Sanjeevani
Life Beyond Cancer (Bangalore) organised an awareness
program on women-related cancers at Aims Institutes of
Management and Sciences (Bangalore). The program was
graced by a distinguished set of guests, including Dr. Suresh
Babu, Medical Oncologist, Kidwai (Bangalore); Dr. Mamatha
Devraj, doctor in Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences; Dr. Kiran
G. Reddy, principal, Aims Institutes of Management and
Sciences (Bangalore) and Mr. Anil Ahluwalia, co-founder,
Sanjeevani Life Beyond Cancer. The program was attended by
the esteemed faculty and more than 300 students of the
institution. Addressing the crowd, Dr. Babu, who has 12 years
of experience in oncology and more than 125 international
publications, talked extensively about how to understand the
symptoms of various women-related cancers and how to
prevent them. He also highlighted the various ways in which
allopathy can both fight and prevent cancer in general.
Following him, Dr. Mamatha Devraj, winner of Mother
Theresa Award (2016) and National Women's Award (2018),
in her speech talked about the roots behind various types of
women-related issues and how yoga can help cure them.
Director of Mamdev Yoga Hub, Dr. Mamatha is also the
recipient of Aryabhatta International Award (2017). Mr. Anil
Ahluwalia, co-founder of Sanjeevani Life Beyond Cancer and
General Manager, Public Relations and Brand, Bharat
Petroleum, too spoke about the importance of awareness
regarding cancer in general. Mr. Ahluwalia is a MBA from
Punjab University. Principal of AIMS, Dr. Reddy in her speech
stressed on why women should not be ignorant of their
health and also on how they should properly take care of
their bodies. The students who attended the program were
enlightened by the renowned guests and were confident
about spreading awareness regarding women-related
cancers with their family and friends. Team Sanjeevani Life
Beyond Cancer is grateful to the guests for taking out time
from their busy schedules to be with us, everyone from Aims
Institutes of Management and Sciences who helped us in
making this event a successful one and as always, to our
