& HEALTH ADMINISTRATION by educating and influencing society to
adopt appropriate policies, practices and methods to install, maintain
& manage safety to avoid human suffering and economic loss due to
hazards

F&SF will continue to acquire professional excellence with focus on high
quality trainings, curriculum and end to end awareness programs for the
public.
Our ultimate aim is to upgrade professionalism in the field of
Safety Management through effective training methods and well quantized
curriculum, aim at the welfare of Safety Management professionals, by
resolving their career related problems, F&SF acts as a safety
manager to the enterprises all over the world, and developing a working
environment for our labors and other professionals.

Why we are in the training field
Accident prevention reduces losses and improves productivity. Ensuring
Safety and Health of industrial worker is the responsibility of the man-
agement. The services of qualified safety officers are necessary to assist
the management in planning, implementing and monitoring accident
prevention programs. Section 40-B of the Factories Act, 1948, Regulation
93 of the Dock Workers (Safety, Health and Welfare) Regulation, 1990,
and Section 38 of the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regula-
tion of Employment and Condition of Service) Act, 1996 prescribe the
appointment of Safety Officers. The task of the Safety Officer is to advise
and assist the management in the fulfillment of the obligations concerning
prevention of occupational diseases & accident, and maintenance of safe
working environment. A person should essentially possess a Diploma in
Industrial Safety Management or Diploma in Safety and Fire Engineering
recognized by the government for recruitment as a safety officer in addi-
tion to other prescribed qualification and experience.
Diploma in Industrial Safety Management
Fire and Safety Forum conducts Diploma in Industrial Safety Management
course for one year (full time & Crash) for 120 students. The medium of
instruction is English. The course provides comprehensive education and
training on Industrial Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, Fire
Engineering and Fire Prevention.The course is affiliated to Jan Sikshan San-
sthan a concern of Central Ministry of Human Resource Development,
India.
