It is my great pleasure to recommend Canty Yang in her desire to pursue higher education. I have
known Canty since August of 2019 and have had the privilege of having her in my Anatomy and
Physiology class. Canty consistently excels in all tasks and assignments in class. She has
demonstrated to have a great work ethic allowing her to succeed in all of her academic and personal
goals.

Canty is a hardworking student who aspires to pursue a degree in business. Each day she is motivated
and ambitious to achieve her goals, having a GPA of 3.42. Canty is not only dedicated to her
academics, but is also highly involved in her community. Canty has an extraordinary willingness to
help others and be a leader. Throughout her high school years she has been highly involved in
Leadership, Florist Club, and Barbizon. In addition, she has completed 8 hours of community service
with the Family Career Community Leaders of America.

Canty prioritizes her academics as she has been involved in the Upward Bound and Breakthrough
academic programs. She has been chosen to be Student of the Month and always being present in
class led her to earn the Attendance Award. Nothing is unattainable for Canty as she has also been
involved in Badminton and Women’s Flag Football, making her a well rounded student who
manages her time exceptionally well.

Canty always comes into my class with a positive attitude ready to learn and work hard. She is
respectful, compassionate, kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand to her peers. She is driven
by the fact that she will be the first person in her family to attend college. I am confident that with
your generous contribution to her education she will not let you down. She will represent her family,
school, and community with the utmost honor. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Canty for any
endeavor she chooses to pursue in her life as she possesses defined skills to succeed.
