GRADING POLICY:
Mid-Term : 15 %
Progress Report & Interim Evaluation : 30 % (2% Group – 15% Report – 13% Presentation)
Final Report & Presentation : 45 % (3% Group – 22% Report – 20% Presentation)
Performance : 10 % (will be decided on attendance to presentation hours
and performance in project group)

WHO CAN TAKE THIS CLASS? 4th year students with no conflict in class schedule. Those who do
not satisfy this requirement will be automatically dropped.

Suggested Software: SAP 2000, E-TABS, GT-Strudl, LARSA, STAAD, RAM, RM, ADINA,
RETScreen, Auto CAD, MS Excel and any Bentley family program or equivalent of
these listed softwares. Softwares that can do design and develop design drawings by
just importing architectural drawings as an input are not allowed.

STRUCTURAL REPORTS WILL BE GRADED BASED ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

Analysis and design need to be performed by hand computations just for the interim report. Do not use any

type of software other than MS Excel, Word, Power Point and AutoCAD for the interim report.
