Project Description: NCBE GUI is a part of Global payment system .GPS is a established system which manages all
transactions using mainframes. NCBE GUI runs on open source platform with more interactive browser based screens
which is not there in the old legacy system. This application has 4 main modules (Pricing,Volume,System
maintenance,Bill Correction )which enables user s to create,view ,update and modify the system. DB Legi system is used
for authentication and authorisation purpose

BT(British Telecom) NetCentricity currently has web application portals delivered on many technologies including
Broadvision and BEA WebLogic Portal 7. BT NetCentricity has decided that currently its preferred platform for new
portal work will be based on Open Source frameworks.

The open source platform will consist of two main areas “OFBiz” based platform and “Opensource” based platform. The
ecommerce applications will typically consist of presales, ecommerce + ordering and postsales. It has been decided to use
OFBiz for ecommerce / ordering applications and opensource for developing presales and postsales applications.

As a Team lead and low-level designer,was responsible for the following :

• LLD document provided design for the following,


• Use of Generic templates to build presales pages.
• Tiles Configuration in the web application
• Integration of Struts and Spring using DelegatingActionProxy
• Tile definitions for the 10 templates available in the Generic template specification v29.0
• Using CMIM APIs and Content retrieval tag library to query the BT_DOCUMENT and

other content. This is a web application used for managing BT.COM websites and web content, though in many cases,
content management systems require special client software for editing and constructing articles. CMS was used as
storage and single sourcing of documentation for BT including operators' manuals, technical manuals, sales guides, etc.
Contents in Bt.com portal has been managed by Teamsite Interwoven .

As a technical support member ,was responsible for the following:

• Ensure that the Production box is up & running at all times.


• 2nd line support activities including testing, debugging and code fixes.
• Deployments to various environments including test, Reference and Live/Production.
• Extensive support to development team.
• Backup and archiving of code and content on regular basis.

customer journeys to support campaign activity. It is also aimed at to provide content and interactive tools to support
points of exploration, engagement and exchange on bt.com and also to reduce the need to create off-platform sites. This
entire module is dynamically driven and involves the creation of the software components such as Webflow designs,
JSPs, EJBs and junits along with the creation of the dummy contents using XML.

As a Team member,was responsible for the following :

Authentication and access control for the application would be handled through the LDAP.
