Undergo Training
For a period of 3 months one will have to undergo functional and cross functional training
Will be on probation for a duration of one year after gauging the performance he/she will be
confirmed as Operations Executive
To build relationships with functional peers and cross functional teams and to participate in
Operations related projects on a business unit level, through the provision of information, to
assist in informed project decision-making.
Service Performance
Prepare service quality improvement plan, weekly OPP implement, analyze service reports,
monitor performance and take pro active corrective actions in order to improve service
levels
Data Reporting
Understand data quality reports, analyze trends, weekly data prepare and distribute
functional reports on data quality in order to improve data quality.
Prepare and present periodic reports to local management in order to present update and
timely information.
Operations Administration
Validate data, collate information, prepare SDR Cost KPI’s & Line haul reports in order to
improve operations administration
PUD Operations
Support in Transport Process Analyses, planning, improvement and support
Assist in PUD route planning
Unload and load correctly consignments as per company procedure: e.g. right stacking and
sequencing to ensure no damages occur to customer goods and TNT or subcontractor
equipment.
Correctly unload consignments as per company procedure.
Sort consignments.
Label consignments.
To report any damages, and to assist with repacking as necessary
Comply with regularity (e.g. Aviation, security, customs, dangerous goods) policies &
procedures.
Perform all aspects of check, perform bagging as per procedures.
Work within budgets
Other Activities
Ensure CSR&Q Responsibilities are met as set out in the framework documents for OH&S,
Environment, Quality and Social
Accountability within the respective Management Systems.
Ensure compliance with statutory OH&S Legislation.
Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods Legislation.
PERSON PROFILE
LEAP Trainee – Operations
Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
Graduate or Post Graduate (Supply chain Management) in any discipline from a tier II or III
institute
Should have obtained a minimum of 60% in the last qualifying examination
