1. Mobilization of worker, tools & Equipment.
2. Shut down of chiller
3. Cutting of existing pipes and welded connections with new pipes
4. Deisolation
5. Repair work of existing HVAC trench
6. Demobilization

Now undertake the JSA and record in the table below. Use prompts on JSA Prompt Sheet and Hazard Checklist PA-HSEC-02-040-002-F03.
Part 3: Contingency Plans. Standard PPE,S : First aid kit must be present at the area and the Hse personnel is the first response in case of
emergency

Skin burn Ensure that welder are wearing leather gloves and
aware about the hazard.
Hi vis vest shall not be worn during cutting and
welding job .No scarves shall be allowed.
Eye injury Safety glasses and BHPB approved face shield
with polycarbonate to be worn at all times for
welding activities.
Safety glasses shall be worn under face shield for
grinding activity.
Area to be fully vacated and line off site barricaded
off while welding in progress.
Ignition source All work to be done under BHPB operations HWP.

Electrocution Full ppe to be worn by welder including leather-

welding gloves.
Ensure positive contact earth clamping is complete.
Earthing clamp to be positioned as close as
practicable to welding point.
Ensure welding unit is fitted with RCD and tagged
by DEL E&P and approved / tagged by BHPB
operations.
Ensure all electrical cables shall be tagged by
BHPB operations and DEL E&P and inspected for
defeats prior to use .HWP shall be attached with
JSA.
