DAY ONE: Sunday, 30th September, 2018 – SYDNEY DEPARTURE (meals/movies en route)
3.00pm Arrive at Sydney International Airport and check in for your flight to London (via
Singapore).
After checking in your luggage, move through security onto departure gate.
Now is a good time for a light snack or for some duty-free shopping!
6.05pm Depart Sydney for Singapore on SQ242.

DAY TWO: Monday, 1st October, 2018 – LONDON (D)


TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
12.20am Arrive into Singapore and transfer to your next departure gate.
1.10am Depart Singapore for London on SQ306.
7.45am Arrive into London Heathrow
Airport. Pass through
immigration & customs and
collect your luggage. Meet
your tour manager (Rick
Hoogenboom) who will stay
with you throughout the tour,
Board your coach and
transfer to Westminster
Abbey.
~10.15am Enjoy a visit of Westminster
Abbey with a Blue Badge Guide.
11.45am Some time for lunch in chaperoned groups nearby (own cost).
12.45pm Enjoy panoramic guided sightseeing tour and pass highlights such Tower Bridge,
Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament.
2.30pm Enjoy a visit to the Tower of London.
5.15pm Afterwards, check in to your hotel:

7.30pm Welcome dinner as a group and the rest of the evening is free to catch up on

DAY THREE: Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018 – LONDON (B,D) – Workshop
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY UNDERGROUND
7.45am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
8.45am Meet in the hotel lobby and transfer by
London Underground to the Tate Modern
Museum.
10.00am Enjoy an interactive visit the Tate Modern
Museum. A 90-minute tour (in the gallery)
with an art specialist who will focus on 5 -6
pieces (interactive).
11.30am Lunch in chaperoned groups in the local
area (own cost).
1.00pm After lunch, meet outside the museum and transfer by public transport to the
Handel & Hendrix Museum.
2.00pm Enjoy a visit to the Handel & Hendrix Museum where you will enjoy a Workshop on
Hendrix and the 1960s. Using music of the 1960s as the basis, you will learn about
the 1960s as a defining era of popular music exploring the development of
technology in the music business, the creation of the LP and the multitude of
different musical styles from crooners to soul. This session will re-discover the
musical sound world from which Hendrix was born.
The Handel House Museum was home to the baroque composer George Frederic
Handel from 1723 until his death in 1759. This landmark address is where Handel
composed some of the greatest music in
history including Messiah, Zadok the Priest
and Music for the Royal Fireworks, and died
on 14 April 1759.
The adjoining house, number 23, was Jimi
Hendrix’s London home and is now open to
visit. His bedroom has been carefully restored
to hark back to 1969, the time when he
occupied the flat, and there is also a
permanent Hendrix exhibition.
4.00pm After the workshop, some time to explore London in chaperoned groups.
7.00pm Dinner as a group in a local restaurant, Ask Italian Restaurant in Wigmore Street.

DAY FOUR: Wednesday, 3rd October, 2018 – LONDON (B,D) - Workshop
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY UNDERGROUND
6.30am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
7.30am Meet in the hotel lobby and transfer to St
Pauls Cathedral by public transport.
8.30am Arrive at St Paul’s Cathedral for a tour and
climb the Dome (30 minute walk – opens at
8.30am, Dome opens at 9.30am).
10.00am Meet outside and walk across the Millenium
Bridge to the Globe Theatre.
10.30am After a half-hour guided visit of the theatre you will have a one-hour interactive
Workshop based on Othello.
12.00pm Walk to the Borough Markets for lunch in
chaperoned groups (own cost).
2.00pm After lunch, walk towards the London
Dungeon (approx. 30min walk).
3.15pm Enjoy a visit of the London Dungeon.
4.45pm After the Dungeon, walk to and through Leak
Street Tunnel. Afterwards, some free time to
explore London in chaperoned groups.
5.30pm Early dinner as a group at Zizzis Bankside Restaurant.
7.00pm Arrive at the Globe Theatre.
7.30pm Attend the Othello play at the Globe Theatre.
10.30pm After the play, return to your hotel by Public Transport.

DAY FIVE: Thursday, 4th October, 2018 – LONDON (B,D) – Lecture
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY UNDERGROUND
8.00am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
8.45am Meet in the hotel lobby and depart for
Hamley’s Toy Store by Underground.
10.00am Enjoy a visit to Hamley’s Toy Store.
11.30am After the visit, some time for lunch in
chaperoned groups in the local area
(own cost).
12.30pm Walk to the National Gallery.
1.15pm Visit the National Gallery. Here you will enjoy an in depth guided visit of the gallery
with a focus on British Art at the National Gallery.
2.30pm Some time to walk around the museum and enjoy the gift shop.
3.00pm Meet as a group and walk to the London Eye.
3.30pm Enjoy a ride on the London Eye ferris wheel.
5.00pm Dinner as a group at Café Rouge Covent Garden.
6.45pm Meet outside of the Lyceum Theatre.
7.30pm After dinner, attend the Lion King musical.
10.30pm After the show, return to the hotel by public transport.

DAY SIX: Friday, 5th October, 2018 – LONDON (B,D)


TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY UNDERGROUND
7.45am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
8.45am Meet in the hotel lobby and then transfer to Buckingham Palace by public
transport.
11.00am Attend the changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace.
11.45am At the end of the ceremony, travel to the Film Museum where you will have some
time to explore the museum.
1.30pm Walk to Covent Garden and some time for lunch in chaperoned groups (own
cost).
2.30pm After lunch, walk to the British Museum and some time to explore the museum.
7.00pm Dinner as a group at The Albert.
8.30pm Afterwards, return to your hotel.

DAY SEVEN: Saturday, 6th October, 2018 – LONDON (B,D)
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
8.00am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
9.00am Meet in the hotel lobby and board your coach and transfer to Westminster.
10.30am Board a boat and travel along the River Thames to Hampton Court, the Royal
Palace in the borough of Richmond upon Thames (3½ hour journey).
Afternoon Lunch on your own on the boat.
2.30pm After lunch, visit Hampton Court Palace.
3.45pm Board your coach and transfer back to London.
5.00pm Upon your arrival back into London, enjoy dinner at the Colosseo Restaurant.
6.30pm Arrive at St Johns Smith Square.
7.00pm Enjoy Verdi Requiem at St Johns Smith Square.
10.00pm Afterwards, return to your hotel.

DAY EIGHT: Sunday, 7th October, 2018 – LONDON (B,D)


TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
8.30am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
9.15am Meet in the hotel lobby and board your
coach. Transfer to Kensington Palace.
10.00am Enjoy a visit of Kensington Palace.
11.30am Buy lunch at the palace to eat en route
(own cost).
11.45am Board your coach and depart for
Laevesden (approx. 20 miles North-West
of London), where you will visit the Harry
Potter Studios. Enter the magical world of
Harry Potter and his friends. You'll see
original sets from the Harry Potter film
series, including the Great Hall. Get behind
the scenes and see how these magical
movies were shot.
5.00pm Board your coach and return to London.
7.00pm Dinner as a group at a local restaurant.

DAY NINE: Monday, 8th October, 2018 – LONDON → AMSTERDAM (B,D)
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH & EUROSTAR
5.30am Boxed breakfast at your hotel. Check out of your hotel.
6.00am Board the coach and depart for St Pancras Train Station where you will check-in.
8.54am Depart Eurostar from London to Lille Europe (Train 9116).
11.23am Arrive into Lille, meet your coach and transfer to Ypres (approx. 1 hour).
1.30pm Lunch in chaperoned groups in Ypres upon
arrival (own cost).
2.15pm After lunch, visit Flanders Field Museum in
Ypres.
4.00pm Continue onto Amsterdam via a short stop at
Polygon Wood Cemetery, a British Military
Cemetery with victims from WWI (approx. 4
hrs drive).
A cash handout of €20pp will be handed out
tonight for dinner which you can spend at a
truck stop en route.
10.00pm Arrive at your hotel and check-in:

DAY TEN: Tuesday, 9th October, 2018 – AMSTERDAM (B,D)
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
7.30am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
9.30am Morning visit of the Van Gogh Museum
dedicated to the famous Dutch painter
and enjoy a workshop “Looking at van
Gogh”.
12.30pm Lunch in chaperoned groups in the local
area (own cost).
2.00pm Meet your local guide for a guided
walking tour of the old centre of
Amsterdam.
6.30pm Dinner as a group at Restaurant Dubbel.
8.30pm Enjoy a canal cruise and see the highlights of the centre of Amsterdam from the
water.
10.00pm Transfer back to your hotel.

DAY ELEVEN: Wednesday, 10th October, 2018 –AMSTERDAM (B,D)
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
8.00am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
7.45am Meet in your hotel lobby and transfer to the Carre Theatre.
9.00am Enjoy a backstage tour of the Carre Theatre.
10.30am At the end of the tour transfer to the Rijksmuseum.
11.30am Enjoy a visit to the Rijksmuseum to see the famous Nightwatch.
1.30pm Quick Lunch in chaperoned groups in the
local area (own cost).
2.15pm After lunch, enjoy a visit to Zaanse Schans.
This open-air museum is a delightful old
hamlet on the banks of the River Zaan with
characteristic green wooden houses,
charming gardens, small hump-backed
bridges, tradesmen's workshops, historic
windmills and engaging little shops.
See how wooden shoes and cheese are
made.
5.00pm Board your coach and return to Amsterdam.
6.00pm Dinner as a group in central Amsterdam at Restaurant Bret.
9.00pm Board your coach and return to your hotel.

DAY TWELVE: Thursday, 11th October, 2018 – AMSTERDAM (B,D) – Workshop
TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
8.00am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
9.00pm After breakfast, board the coach and
transfer to Hilversum.
10.00am Visit The Netherlands Institute for Sound
and Vision. A cultural-historical
organization, it collects, preserves and
opens the audiovisual heritage for as many
users as possible: media professionals,
education, science and the general
public. Participate in a tailor-made
Workshop for all students (TBC). Go
backstage, learn about the Dutch
Television, see the production room and learn to present your own news.
12.00pm Board the coach and return to Amsterdam.
1.00pm Lunch in chaperoned groups (own cost).
3.00pm After lunch, visit Rembrandt House, the impressive building where the great Dutch
artist lived and worked for 20 years. Situated in the heart of Amsterdam it is now a
museum and gives visitors a complete Rembrandt experience.
Afterwards, some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping.
6.00pm Farewell Dinner as a group at Humphrey’s Restaurant.
8.00pm Board the coach and return to your hotel.

DAY THIRTEEN: Friday, 12th October, 2018 – AMSTERDAM DEPARTURE (B)


TODAY’S MOVEMENTS ARE BY COACH
6.30am Continental breakfast at your hotel.
7.30am After breakfast, check out of your hotel and
transfer to Amsterdam International Airport
(approx. 1 hour).
Arrive at Amsterdam Airport and check in
for your flights, move through security and
onto your departure gate.
11.15am Depart for Singapore on SQ323.

DAY FOURTEEN: Saturday, 13th October, 2018 – SYDNEY ARRIVAL OR En Route


5.55am Arrive into Singapore and transfer to your onward flight gate.
7.10am Depart Singapore for Sydney on SQ241.
5.50pm Arrive into Sydney, collect your bags and pass through customs.
