CENTRAL OBJECTIVE:
The students will acquire knowledge regarding criterion and norm referenced evaluation and develop desirable attitude and
skills related to criterion and norm referenced evaluation and to apply this gained knowledge in various teaching learning process
CONTRIBUTORY OBJECTIVES:
In our education system the public exam (X and XII )results in announced by the state in two types of interpreting
the result such as state1st ,state 2nd and also state 3rd and percentage of passed out girls and boys in the year. It is a one method evaluation of
educational achievement .In first type of evaluation the certain type of standardized questions are prepared and followed .In second type of
evaluation the performance of the students compared in terms of percentage.

So far we have discussed about definition of criterion and norm referencing evaluation ,common characterstics, uses in criterion
and norm referencing evaluation steps in criterion referenced test and developing norms including select target population,select the sample,
developing the norms, differentiate between the CRT&NRT, strength and weakness of criterion and norm referenced evaluation.
CONCLUSION:
At the end of the class the students gained more knowledge about criterion and norm referenced evaluation and apply this gained
knowledge in various teaching learning process. .I would like to thank our respected faculty for giving this wonderful opportunity.
