INTRODUCTION

Before smartphones, life seemed a lot simpler. But when you really think about it,

smartphones have made our lives significantly easier too.

Now a day it is very common to see someone with a smartphone, almost every one

carries one. So first I am going to argue about how Smartphones have changed the

world dramatically in a short period of time

Then I am going to argue why Smartphones are very useful for almost everything;

the advantages and the disadvantages, and in the conclusion, I’ll present some

recommendations to use smartphones adequately.

SMARTPHONES HAVE MADE OUR LIVES EASIER

Firstly, Smartphones have clearly transformed the lives of many across the world.

They offer so much in one small package, making them a must have for millions of

people. You can do nearly everything on a smartphone, and that is truly

remarkable.

Since they are so common now, they can be found in nearly every mobile phone

dealership. They can become very pricey, and may even cause you to search for

some quick loans online or in town. No matter what, these phones are well worth the

price; just check out everything that they have done to revolutionize life for people.

Secondly Smartphones allow people to get news and updates immediately, whether it

is through an application or the browser. Important weather updates, school closings,

important emails, and many other notifications can all be received much faster.
Moreover, with these phones, sharing photos, videos, audio, and more online and

between friends or family is even easier. You can even hold live video calls.

Smartphones have allowed communication to reach a whole new level, keeping

friends and family in much better contact than ever before.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

In addition to this Smartphones are included into our daily lives because of the

multiple uses. We check our phones every day. It is something we cannot live

without in this modern age. Smartphones have both, advantages and disadvantages.

Does the good outweigh the bad?

ADVANTAGES

 PRIVACY

With the invention of smartphones, you don’t have to worry about your

messages and love letter being discovered by family members. Smartphones

allow you to store and secure this information. Most smartphones are

designed with a phone lock system. You can use you a pin, code or even your

fingerprint to lock your phone.

 KEEP IN TOUCH EASILY

Your friends and family are one message away. If you have an emergency

then you can text someone and ask for help. You can travel the globe and still

connect with your family using smartphones. You send them pictures and
videos so that they can feel like a part of your life. The smartphones help to

close the distance among people.

 EASY ACCESS TO YOUR EMAIL, SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS

Gone are the days when we needed a computer to reply to an email or log in

to our social media accounts. Now, you can use your smartphone to do just

that. This makes things a lot easier. With just a few taps, you can check your

email and social media networks.

 FINISH MANY TASKS EASIER

As there are apps for just about everything, you can finish your tasks a lot

easier. You can do many things on the go. For example, you can order food

while you are on the train coming home from work with just a few taps. If

you like some product which you can buy in the store that is not nearby, you

can order it online. You can use your phone to write down notes, work

reports, create to-do lists or grocery shopping list, and so many other things.

 GPS

No matter if you are a driver or a pedestrian, you will get the directions, so

you won’t have to go around asking people how to get somewhere.

 ENTERTAINMENT

As you have read the things we mentioned above, you have come to the

conclusion that smartphones are super useful. But, not just that. Sometimes,

we need to relax and have some simple fun. You can use your smartphone to

watch funny videos, listen to the music or play your favorite games.
DISADVANTAGES

 PRIVACY ENDANGERED

If your phone is stolen then information will no longer be private. It is very

important that you locked your phone and deactivate it. You can report that

your phone is lost to your service provider and it will be deactivated.

 DISTRACTION

You can be easily distracted with a smartphone. You have to be careful

because accidents can occur. If you are driving then put your phone away and

concentrate. Whatever is on your smartphone can wait until you are home. Do

not risk your life with these handheld devices. Social etiquette is another

concern. There are many organizations that will request minimal use of cell

phones. People tend to lose their concentration when they hear a phone

ringing and someone steps out to take the call. If you are in an important

meeting, remember to put your phone on silent. Also, it can be disrespectful

when someone is talking to you and you are paying more attention to your

phone.

 HEALTH ISSUES

There are some discussions on whether cell phones can cause health issues.

Most cell phones emit radiofrequency energy and these can be absorbed by

tissues. In order to eradicate any possibilities then limit the use of mobile

phones. Sleep deprivation is associated with heavy cell phones users. You

need to rest your body so try not to stay up late at night on your phone. You

are interfering with the rest your body needs. Smartphone overuse can even

damage your eyes. Phones give off HEV light which can damage the retina.

 ADDICTION
There are interesting games and social websites that can lead to addiction.

Many people wake up in the morning and check their phones first. Are you

one of them? Yes, that is how important our smartphone has become. It is the

first thing we look at before we tell those around us a pleasant “Good

morning.”

As a result, Smart phones have touched so many different areas of our lives, and

have made them much easier in the process. As mobile technology continues to

become smarter and more helpful, smartphones will only continue to make a huge

impact on lives across the world.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion smartphones haven’t been out for a long time since when the iPhone

came out from there to now smartphones have gotten very advanced. Since

smartphones came out, they have completely changed society for good and for bad.

The good things about smartphones are that they can be very useful for lots of tasks,

but in the other hand, smartphones are making society too lazy in the social aspect

therefore people don’t really talk to each other like they use to in the old.

In my opinion, I think that in the future obviously smartphones are going to get better

than they are now; perhaps there will not be smartphones perhaps there will be other

devices that have the same function of a smartphone but better.

We don’t know what they will look in the future. In my opinion these changes are

going to affect the way we live in a good way and also in a bad way. I belief that

these technologies are going to be very useful on our lives like it is today.
