Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 is a new graphic design program developed to generate images
and sketches for printing, recordings or use on the World Wide Web. It is the swiftest
illustrator created with new shapes, colors and paragraph styles that even has a mobile app
so you can access your creations anywhere.
Users are always happy with new developments and improvements in the graphic industry.
There are some users that utilize this software in their day to day activities ad really
welcome when improved ways of doing a task is introduced.
Adobe is known as a great software outfit that produces easy to use and flexible software
that allows users to cut the time in half to achieve a task. Users can depend on tutorials are
which are available for those who are new to this program and those who want to learn the
new approaches.

1. Price
This new program runs about $29.99 for a one-month plan. However, its costs $19.99 per
month for a single application, and $49.99 per month for all applications.
2. New capabilities
The Adobe illustrator CC 2015 has the ability to find topics and themes quickly by
searching Adobe Stock. Ideas, such as color and character styles can be sourced from pre-
existing catalogues to reinforce designs.
3. Sharper tool
Shapes can be created with natural and relaxed motions that become flawless shapes,
without the need for special tools as in previous versions. These can be further filled,
mixed and erased to become intricate designs, like normal compound shapes. The Sharper
tool from the new Adobe illustrator CC 2015 is available on regular workspace as well as
Touch workspace.
4. New Shapes
The shape tools are changeable and interactive having the ability to create new shapes

17. Forgot to save?
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 thought of this too. It allows designs or artwork to be retrieved
if they were not saved by simply rebooting the program. The cause of a system crash can
also be determined and options made available to solve the problem at hand. There are
varying data recovery preferences that can be selected, the data can be stored in a backup
file, automatically saved or saved at particular time intervals. However, when backing up
larger files, the system may become slower or even pause, during this time, data recovery
may be switched off until completed.
18. No internet needed
Using the new and upgraded Adobe Illustrator CC 2015, no internet connection is needed
to use the application or others like it such as Adobe Photoshop. During downloading and
upgrading, however, the internet is needed. As long as a legitimate, licensed software is
being used, the systems can be used offline. Verification of software is needed every 30
days.
19. Updates
For versatile drawing, Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 has implemented an update to the
Curvature tool, updates have also been made to Touch workspace and a new Shapebuilder
tool. With the Curvature tool, users can separate the Rubber-banding preference, join
active and non-active drawing paths and start drawing from either end of the artwork. The
Shapebuilder tool, once with straight line movements, can now be used for freeform
movements which is a default setting in the new system.

Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 requires an Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64
processor; Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 to operate; 1GB of RAM for a 32-bit, or
2GB of RAM for a 64-bit;
2GB hard-disk area is required for installation only. It is important to note that
removable storage gadgets cannot be used for installation.

23. Converting to paid membership
The free trial of Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 can be changed at any time to a paid version

24. Safe Mode
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 poses a new feature allowing the Illustrator to run with corrupt
files. The option is given to correct the issue and restart the program in the normal mode.
This is different from previous versions where the cause of an error could not be
determined or was difficult to do so.
25. Workspace
The workspace on Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 is any mix of panels and windows that can
be arranged to generate designs. Different panels used in workspace allow users to change
their work and modify them. The Start Workspace is displayed when the Illustrator is set
to run and is used to get to recently opened files quickly. Files can be tabbed or group for
easier access to them.
26. Customizing the workspace
On Adobe Illustrator CC 2015, workspace can be personalized by moving panels and
rearranging the document windows. They can be renamed by selecting the workspace and
editing the text. The documents can be docked, allowing all pieces within a said group to
be displayed together.

27. Tools
The tool panel will appear on the screen at the beginning of the program. These tools are
used to select and produce logos/objects in Illustrator by drawing, painting and editing.
One such tool is the new pencil-tool that gives users the ability to produce perfect curves
and circles, by drawing lines or simply closing a drawing path. The previous Illustrator
pencil-tool was inaccurate

The new interface of Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 enhances the program performance for

experience.
29. Print tilling
Originally, art designs are printed on a single sheet of paper. Adobe Illustrator CC 2015,
however, allows designs that are larger than a sheet to be equally divided in a process
called tilling. This separates the design into numerous sections and allows them to be
printed on multiple pages.
30. Drawing basics
Drawing using the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 is achieved by using straight and curved
lines marked by anchor points. In order to change the shape, the anchor points can be
dragged in the desired direction to quickly change direction or form continuous curves.
31. Drawing modes
Three main modes exist with the new Adobe Illustrator CC 2015; Draw Normal, Draw
Behind and Draw Inside. The draw normal is the program’s default mode.
32. Draw Behind mode
The draw behind mode gives users ability to draw behind designs and images. It generates
new layers and used for applying symbols to artwork and when placing design elements
and documents from file menu.
33. Draw Inside mode
This mode allows users to draw within logos or images that have been chosen. It prevents
users from drawing and changing stacking order. The draw inside mode, however, is used
on only one selected object, path or text at a time.
34. Erasing Artwork
The Path Eraser tool can be used to eliminate unwanted portions of designs. This is
important when only a small section of the design is being erased.

35. Perspective Drawing
The Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 provides users with a perspective grid to display an image
on a flat surface, as it is normally seen, using one-point, two-point or three-point
perspective.
36. Move the perspective grid
The Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 only produces a single grid in a document. This can be
moved across the artwork using the Ground level widget when the grid is highlighted.
37. Color
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 offers color swatches and color guides to help users select the
best color combinations that will represent the designs well, after the art has been
published or printed.
38. Creating swatches
Swatches are called patterns, color and tints, and appear in the Swatches panel whether in
groups or singly. Colors from a user’s art or design can be chosen and added to the
Swatches panel.
39. Painting
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 helps designers add to their art using patterns, bristle brushes
and calligraphy. A feature referred to as Live Paint can be used to paint different sections
and color closed segments with different colors or patterns.
40. Painting methods
Two methods are employed in painting objects, either by filling the image or changing it
to a Live Paint. The first method requires the image or design to be drawn and painted
using filling or stroking with a brush tool. With Live Paint, objects are painted naturally
without being concerned about layers, they are treated as being on the same surface. The
edges will change automatically as the painting continues.
41. Fill versus Stroke
Fill is a pattern or color applied within images, or art. It can be used on faces of Live Paint
as well as closed or open shapes. Stroke is any trace of a shape or image that can be seen.
The color and stroke width can be adjusted.
42. Brushes
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 has various new brush designs that allow users to style the
drawing path however they choose. Brush strokes can be used on previously drawn paths
or used to draw the outlines themselves. Scatter brush, Bristle brush and Art brush.

43. Grouping objects
A number of design elements can be placed in a single group where they are viewed as
one. With the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015, the images can be moved without influencing
their positions.
44. Layers
Difficult art pieces can be designed using the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 as it features the
ability to layer design elements within an artwork. It prevents larger items from blocking
smaller art pieces. The program simply layers’ pieces in a single line, however, this
arrangement can be changed to generate new layers.
45. Lock objects
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 offers users an option to lock or unlock design elements within
an art piece. Locking pieces blocks any further selection and changes. The edit column
can be selected for that object and the lock option selected, on the other hand, unlocking
them requires users to click the lock icon for that object.
46. Transforming objects
Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 gives users the ability to change design elements by altering
their scale, distorting or skewing them. Changing an element’s scale causes it to increase
or decrease in size along either the x or y-axis. This is done by choosing the object and
selecting the scale tool.
Skewing an object is the same as slanting it vertically or horizontally. This is helpful in
producing the effect of a shadow on the object.
Distorting the image causing deformation from twisting and wrinkling using the Free
Transform tool to create a new object, whether text or symbols.
47. Combining objects
Numerous shapes can be merged in different ways on the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 to
generate new shapes or objects. The objects can be stacked and their positions or images
adjusted to achieve this.
48. Cut and divide objects
Images can be cut or trimmed using the knife or scissors tool as well as by using a variety
of stencil designs. The knife tool is able to cut freely along the drawn path, while the
scissor tool cuts the path or frame. The tools can be found by selecting and holding the
eraser tool and choosing the appropriate tool.
49. Create 3-D objects
3-D effects are offered on the Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 program, where regular two-
dimensional art can be transformed into three-dimensional pieces. This can be done by
pulling out, e.g. from an eclipse to a cylinder or rotating the object. Surface shading and
lighting can be manipulated to create illusions on 3-D objects. Additional artwork can also
be added onto 3-D objects.

The new Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 allows users to use touch-devices to manipulate
design elements and images, by swiping, and panning with touch-gestures in order to use
these features, a Windows 7 or 8 touchscreen computer or device, such as an iPad is
