“Go Activate the Development of Nature in its Authenticity (GANDA)”

It's hard to believe that our planet is already 4.5 billion years old and the human being first appeared
between 5 million and 7 million years ago. Earth, the third planet from the sun and the only planet suitable for
human life, is now slowly losing its habitability. With our constant hunger for knowledge and the need to
quench curiosity, millennium after millennium, we have evolved and progressed in various ways. But the sad
thing is that we are also slowly killing our own home.

The growing quantity of waste produced worldwide is a serious problem and a major environmental
threat. Animals lose their homes in order to make room for landfill, with our careless litter we pollute water
resources and wild environments. Basically, it comes down to this: we produce more garbage than can be
handled by the Earth, and we’re running out of places where to put it. Waste segregation is one of the simple
things that we are unable to do at home, much less do it continuously. Segregation is the first step in our waste
management. We help to speed up the work of our garbage collectors by properly disposing of our waste. Over
time, our landfill can fill up faster than we can handle if we are not responsible enough to segregate our waste.
The three R's-reuse, reduce and recycle, which was addressed in the conference all help to reduce the amount of
waste we throw away. "Go Activate the Development of Nature in its Authenticity," we have all heard and
repeated perhaps without much thought about its meaning. It's garbage, how much reflection does it really
require? The answer is more... a lot, lot more. It's not merely a random arrangement of words starting with the
letter R, it's the waste management hierarchy. They conserve natural resources, space for landfills, and energy.
People cannot just exercise in order to maintain a healthy weight effectively, they also have to watch what they
eat. Likewise, if we're going to shrink our waste, you can't just recycle it. It also needs to reduce what is thrown
into the trash and bins. Waste prevention reduces garbage at the source before it goes into the garbage.

In conclusion, Earth is always going to be our home. We, the people of this world are one huge
community that needs to work together to solve this problem of an ever-filling world of trash. As individuals,
we can make a difference, and becoming aware of it is the first step to make it. Changing is really up to us, it's
not always bad. Change is really what we need sometimes. We will create a happier and healthier planet for all
by reducing our waste, re-using our goods and recycling our waste. Let's work to slowly stop global warming.
Ideally, we will still be able to see our great grandchildren playing outside and basking under the sun. Spread
the word, tell your friends and relatives and do your part in becoming involved in the race of ours, to save our
beautiful Mother Earth.
