Learning Coaches,

There was an incident that occurred between students at the HTA

Learning Center on Monday, December 13th. This incident was handled
by the administration; however, students using Social Networking sites
escalated the incident. As a reminder to Learning Coaches, parents and
guardians, the responsibility for monitoring your student’s on-line
activities is yours. Internet browsing histories and social networking
activities should be monitored daily. HTA will be holding training
sessions at the Oahu LC during the January F2F week (January 3-7) for
anyone that would like to learn more information about how to monitor
and track these on-line activities.

HTA does not tolerate cyber-bullying, harassment or similar behaviors. If

a Learning Coach is aware of such activities, they must inform HTA
administration as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns,
please feel free to contact me via K-mail or phone.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Dave Randall
Principal, Hawaii Technology Academy
676-5444

in mind, you MUST register for the myhta.org
<http://myhta.org> site to view the schedule and sign up
